Whats Amazing about the BeeGees is that they were able to reinvent themselves and hit the global stars with the Saturday Night Fever soundtrack.

@@mandyharewood886 Because the "rock" crowd started the whole "Disco Sucks" thing by burning Bee Gees (and other dance artists') albums in 1979 in a baseball stadium in Chicago and started a riot. The Gibb brothers went from performers to writer/producers. The fact that they continued to write incredibly popular and award winning songs for other artists in many different genres is the ultimate F.U. to those people in that stadium. And really Mandy, the one "?" is quite enough.

Somewhere I saw Barry say that when he and Robin would sing, Maurice always knew exactly where and how to fill in the third part of their harmonies. This is my favorite performance of this song, not only because they sound amazing but because it's such a treat to hear Maurice take the falsetto responses at the end.

This is my favorite rendition of Nights on Broadway too. There’s something about Barry’s smile, and how he looks out at the audience after that opening line. Not to mention Robin’s famous kick dance, so bad it’s endearing! 😉 Of course they sound amazing. Maurice kills it with the high note knocking this one out of the park! Pure brilliance. Love these guys

I love The Bee Gees and Andy Gibb too. I listen to this mix of songs everyday while I work at my desk! Good thing I work from home because I sing and dance in my office chair. Ok, Robins leg kicks are hilarious! I was a teenager in the 70s so I was in love with Andy Gibb, but as I look at the videos now (I’m 60) I find myself looking at Barry like OMG he was hot as hell 😊 ❤️❤️❤️❤️

@@marlenamislivec1621 I’ll always love Robin, cupping his hand to ear to insure pitch. But more importantly, who lays down live performances like this anymore? Tempo changes, key modulations, razor sharp harmonies. NO f@#kin’ autotune!

Not a single piece of wireless gear on that stage, no wireless ear monitors yet Barry knows he nailed the opening verse and Robin locks right on to the harmonies. No digital reverb to mask vocal flaws, any reverb is from the venue itself. The mix is awesome. Amazing confidence to pull this off live. Absolutely top-notch.

incredible. Nothing like Bee Gees pre-SNF. I'd read from many sources that Barry found his falsetto with this song, but here we have the multi-instrumentalist (and harmonizer) Maurice singing the part. Robin is mesmerizing front and center in glorious voice. Barry directs from the side, keeping it all together, hitting the guitar hard, with strong back-up vocals. These were beautiful, talented men at a unique moment in contemporary music. There will never be another act to match them.

Barry looked a bit like Billy Ray Cyrus to me here. I was a Psychiatric R.N. for 20 years, but maybe he was drunk there. Mo was the identified alcoholic. Mo was sober his last 12 years after threatening to shoot his wife, and 2 children when drunk. He stayed sober after one Rehab. Robin reportedly used prescription drugs like Oxy to excess. Andy died at age 30 from a cocaine O.D. I read that Mo had some liver damage from alcohol. 1 song they did, he walked off, but looked kind of green/brown colored to me; and the brothers looked surprised Mo was walking off.
