On a broader point, just fuck Tier X in general. A lot of gold ammo spam, constantly losing credits even on a good game, unfun tanks to play against .. tier 8 is where it's at.
interesting i absolutely despise tier 8. Always against toxic op premium tanks (alteast 50% of all tanks in only tier 8mm are premiums) as well as constantly being matched against tier 10's. No thanks, ill rather play my tier 9 and 10 all day :)
If you're going to spam premium make your shots count. I usually come out in the black after a tier 10 session and I have no issues using premium when needed. You not going to profit every game but it's not hard to at least make 10% of your expenditures in a session.

Tier 6 to 8 is only painful because tier 8 is powercrept to tier 8.9. I'd argue tier 6 gets -2+3 given the state of some of the absolutely insane tier 8's that never get nerfed.
as a ( mostly ) f2p player, i can say that x2 bottom tier is a bigger problem in tier 8 than tier 6 ( for me ) becaause i don't have the premium consumables ( i have like 1.2 million credits rn, which i am trying to save for the CC1Mk2 ) and i only have like a 4 perk crew on most tanks i play, which could be made better if we just got rid of +2 matchmaking and had it be +/- 1. ( getting hit by a BZ-176 when playing a T-34-85 isnt fun) and i think the best tier is probably still t8, even with the premium tank problem. I have the Defender, and i bought it at a discount for like 50 dollars a couple years ago, and it has probably made me tens of millions ( maybe hundreds? ) of credits in that span, while also being a very fun tank to play. Tier 9 is better this way because there arent nearly as many premium t9 tanks, so its much closer to majority tech tree vehicles during the battle. ( sorry for talking so much )
0:45 the S Conq has a different turret model that is slimmer and it also has a weak point on top that is harder to hit because of the way its size and shape. If you don't have a gun that shoots HEAT ammo you can't do anything to it in a hull down position unless you are taller than the tank
This is my favorite tank in the game, got like 65% wins and have been at 100% moe for months. Tier for tier its much better than sconq imo, you have the same gun and better mobility. You sacrifice armor but its worth it for tier 9mm.
I wish the Conqueror didn't have the super conqueror armour shield. Makes no sense and the tank performed well without it. shame it would make the tier X more unique too
The S Conq was for me a significant upgrade, the armor is just so much better, evryone with gold can just go straight through the turret of the conqueror. The gun sadly just not worked for me so i sold it since it was the only selling point to me
Tech Tree tanks should give something for playing them, even 1 bond every 10 games or something like that. Something that encourages players to play them. Tech Tree tanks are fun to play but premium tanks makes them obsolete.
Yeah that´s why I only play the conquerer and let my s. Conq. sit in the garage. It is my fav. tier 9 hvy tank in the game.... I run the same setup but the stab-turbo and better Rammer and vents ;)

7:10 No, it's not "hard to say". Balancing is broken, so balancing must be fixed, not MM. If +1 is ever rolled out, Wargaming _will_ go even more wild with unbalanced tanks, and most normal tanks will still (effectively) run in -2 games. Don't get them get away with their broken tanks.
yeh t9 are a sweet spot e75,t30,kpz.concept B,t95 ,torto and many more they just damm good and fun but yeh.. if you are not facing 999% of the time +1 mm i mean t10 all the time :D
I can't understand why for a player like QB who has played the game since forever but still bothers with DPM so much. DPM is a nice thing to have when you have to defense but in general, it's not a necessary tool to drive things in your favor. My Obj.780 has only 2.9k DPM as a tier X HT and I still do 5k combined dmg on avg, higher than pretty much all other tier Xs that I have 3marked except the T110E5 that I usually get similar results. My 60TP with just a bit over 3k DPM does 4.8k on avg. I can safely say that most of the time, it's alpha 1st, gun handling 2nd, armor 3rd among all the aspects that make a HT good or not. The Obj.780 is a perfect example. It doesn't have insane DPM or good gun depression or crazy armor or super good mobility. But it has a combination of good alpha, reliable gun handling, and workable armor. This makes it a very consistent tank in most situations. Conqueror at tier 9 has a great gun but weak armor. S.Conq at tier 10 has the same gun (tier-to-tier) but its armor is so much better, especially the mantlet. The only 2 reasons why you don't want to go from Conqueror to S.Conq is because you don't want to play those intense all-tier-X battles, Or you just want to farm tier 7 with a tier 9 HT.
So apparently I'm the only one doing (really) bad on this tank... I really like playing it, except for the gold spam you receive, but I somehow have a terrible win rate

I disagree. Tier 10 Conq has more dpm, better mantlet armour. Yes tier 10 can be frustrating sometimes but for tier for tier Super Conqueror is better tank.

T10 is absolut cancer anyways, I only go up to T10 on a tree when I really really like the vehicle like a IS4 or a TVP 50/51. T8 is the same and if you wouldnt need T8s for like frontline or the special events like babylon I wouldnt have any T8 at all. T5-T7 and T9, thats were the fun is
its funny u have 15 and below ping and the normal people have about 60 or more ? for me to hit the first shot you did i need at least 7 or 8 sec to aim and u in one sec hit funny ?

You do know that as a tier 9, in NA server we only get a favored match-up against tier 7-8 one time out of 15 games, so no its not a good idea.

The VK 45.02b is also a very underrated t9 tech tree tank, that is quite strong if played proberly.

Would have loved this thing if the mantlet was better. Just so often that you get lol-penned through the mantlet, as opposed to the Super Conq.

I have never sold any of my tanks, keep them all because WG often nerf good tanks and buff bad ones

conq is one of the best tier 9's in general. 4k dpg tank for decent players and up from there.
IS-3-II is much better than ST-II, I sold my ST-II and kept only IS
