It used to have another unique selling point you didn't explicitly point out: It got access to Vert Stabs at tier 7 when most of the other lines only got it at tier 8. Between the high rate of fire, the very good mobility, the good gun handling, the gun depression and the somewhat troll turret armor, it was a very flexible tank with tons of potential when played well.
Yes. That poor Cromwell could have been such a divine vehicle if it had vstab. That jupiter-sized bloom when moving has always been a horrendous issue to play around.
The St. Emil is my baby, been in my garage since i bought it when that line first come out so satisfying to smack tf out of teir 8 and 9 tanks in it
I prefer it's bigger brother the borsig
Honestly that line slaps all the way from tier 7 to 10
I loved the St. Emil too. Love peeking with its snow plow of gun depression then hiding again.
T5 with the 8.8cm is a menace
I am big fan of WW2 British tanks, well or just British tanks in general (Challenger 2 is just so sexy), and I love my Comet, even boosted it with bonds stabilizer :D
The Kunze Panzer is my comfort tank, and I always end up playing it if I'm having bad games. It has good camo, good dpm, and great mobility. Plus, it's available for bonds and makes decent money for a tier 9.

An absolute classic of a tank. Loved the fact you have the old QB commander in it too.

I remember the Cromwell being epic and then the Comet was... less so. But as the time progresses, I learnt how to deal with the Comet and it became my favorite of the line, together with the Centurion 7/1 (yes, I don't care, I like how it plays). And I'm glad to have picked up my 3rd Mark on it.
I love all of those tanks and the 5/1. At the time they came out I loved the Crom over the comet because as i recall when the physics first came out the Crom could do something the Comet couldn't. The Crom could drift like a mad lad back then.
I think bombing around in a Cromwell is more fun, but the Comet is a beast once you learn to play it.
as a Cromwell main who played the T-43 before the comet, I was expecting the comet to be awful because it’s basically a fat Cromwell that has better gun characteristics but also a tier up with almost the same pen. However that 12 degrees of gun depression really saves this tank
Still the Soviet mediums are so good once you get the crew trained and get to the elite, especially for the T-43
A great example where CAP is the right choice.

Meu tanque favorito do jogo é o Renegade, foi o primeiro tanque em que coloquei 3° marca, ele acerta demais os tiros, o canhão tem uma ótima precisão, é incrível quantos tiros em movimento consigo acertar com ele, no tier dele é melhor que o T110E5 na minha opinião, incrível como um tier X ficou tão esquecido no jogo.

I really dislike the slow shell velocity of the gun. For my style of play its nearly unplayable.

Love mid tier battles with tanks that actually existed -- Comet (& AT2 before the nerf) were some of my fav tanks back in the day :)

Actually comet is good but centurion 1 is useless against high tiers
I miss this old world of tanks, where just having more gun depression ment something, but now u just load into the game and get 1 shot by bz or by some random new tank that wargaming released
Mine is the Tiger 1... when I'm having a bad session I just hop in that. I might still lose the match, but I know I'll always have a good result.
Difficult tank in today MM
Not enough gold/on a small map/+2 MM, definitely going to struggle but that’s most tanks in a +2 tbh if that high tier tank decides to pick on someone they usually meet their maker pretty fast without solid backup and a dead tank or rock + snipers

Gun depression creep is funny point but totally valid. Its definitely a thing that maps and tanks got massively affected by amount of new tanks that came in with big gun depression. 10 degrees used to be crazy good gun depression and now its a weak amount. Makes sense as ridgelines have to made based on balancing around more than that now

To be honest I don't like the Comet sure it can snipe and good DPM but doesn't work with being a scout tank so I prefer the T20 and I somehow managed to got it 3 MoE with only 99 battles using only scout equipment (Bond Optics, Bond Vents and Bounty Exhaust with Optics directive)
The funny thing is that I managed to outplayed and out spot light tanks even the Bourrasque and I don't need to shoot anything anyway spotting is enough for me
Chi-Ri, I know most people hate it but I have always done real well with it. I still remember one game where I killed 2 platooned E-50's and did over 4k damage.

Don't play it as much (too many tanks to use/train etc), but I remember so wanting to get the Leopard 1 (and sometimes go on about it) as I used to work on the Leo C1A1 back in the day

This game has gone down hill
What the Comet also used to have was not only the -12° but also a really stronk turret front. Then one sad day WG nerfed that away and it never got buffed again. :(
SU-100 with the 122mm gun is my bread and butter, heavy tank gun on a speedy and sneaky chassis
Struggle to play this because I find it ugly.

No, everyone always liked the cromwell for it's tier but the comet had bad pen so a lot of people disliked it. This was at a time where apcr costed gold.
Oh QB before brits and comet everyone enjoyed these positions with american vehicles known for great gun depression angles.
Comet was best for that from the first day they introduced it in game back in 2012 and still is at least in same tier it struggling a bit this days but it's still very good tank ..

For a really long time the comet was one of the best “do everything” tanks in the game.
Do you get those kinds of results in the Comet when you get MM with T8 and T9 tanks? Would be interesting to see.

This tank might have performed better against the T34 and FCM 50t than it does against the Defender and BZ-176.

Ordinary promotion from WOT tips !! (Haha 3-6-8000 Damage) you don't get 1/4th of what you see here in real game!!! These bastards have a modified mod for promotions to see they are still in the top ranks, what he shoots is a hit!! if a tank hits him.. then a rebound... I guarantee that you won't have it that way!! and it will be the opposite on mil. % and besides... don't buy premium or premium tanks!!! it's useless anyway, the server determines the damage,,..determines victory and defeat .. If you upload min Damage to the opponent, the server will automatically flip and give Victory/ if High damage to the opponent - it is automatically Defeat.. You have a tank of 8 levels and you are approximately at the bottom of the team or on the bottom team composition, stacked from level 10 = It's automatically a win because you have no chance to shoot down Level 10 that is: min. damage = victory.!!! If you are on the highest rungs in the lineup, e.g. team level 8 to level 6 , Automatically = high damage to the opponent and you automatically = Defeat!! Server. BLOCKS....visibility, enemy detections, opponent damage, you can just do whatever you want :D !! it's wasted money!! You actually have more losses than wins in the game!! Ask yourself another question.. how many times have you recorded what you see here? (it's easy to play if you're an admin with a good game mode!), and this thieving company gives replays like this every day ... they're just lying to you and fooling you it's a great game, waiting for you to adjust the game mode to the minimum so that you can put real money into it!! Also note that they offer only premium or 10 level tanks, where you have huge losses in the game even during premium, especially if you use gold-i (premium cartridges)!!! , for 1 battle minus up to 8-20,000 cash... if not more... wt.

That was painful to watch, pure gold spam and so greedy that twice QB let himself get hit and decaped in the hope to farm extra damage. Only extreme luck saved his game, he should have died several times before the end...
