I love seeing your mug collection, and I think it’s so nice to change the with the seasons. I’ve started a tin collection of shortbread tins for the coronation too I’ve so far got 3 from M&S 2 are just square one purple and one silver the other is a London bus, I love them. We are limited on shops here in Guernsey so I’m going to have to look on line and see what I can find lol. Lillian is so adorable, she is a lovely girl and it’s nice to see her snuggled up in her blanket. Stay safe love and hugs xx

Hello Paula, you are a collector of mugs. Lots of people have collections of things. Why shouldn’t you have mugs. At least you use them and not just have them sitting in a display cabinet. My son once dropped in with a Canadian friend just before they were heading out to do some sightseeing, and I said to them, “you must come back here for tea”. Anyway, on their way back, the friend said, “should we eat before we go back, because she asked us back for tea”. My son laughed and said, “no, she meant dinner” . However, I also found out that Canadians call dinner “Supper”. I wonder how all these different things came about.
Good to have you back! Have to agree, nothing sweeter than having your pets snuggled up when knitting. We had to have one of our dogs put to sleep recently and our oldie has taken to growling at all sorts when we are out. ❤️

I do online grocery shopping from Tesco, and since you like cake tins, I was wondering if you knew that they have a set of two coronation cake tins for £7.00 (empty). They look quite vintagy and I’ve ordered a set. I looked at the shortbread, but I’m waiting for your review. I’m not a big fan of shortbread even if I am Scottish, but I want your opinion of the tin too. I’m over 70 and since Covid don’t go to the shop to see for myself. ❤ Hope you see this. x

I was wondering about Ian and his claws. My kitten who is a couple weeks younger than yours, thinks I am his toy! My goodness his claws are sharp. Although he is an indoor cat, I will not get him declawed. No. Way. I wanted to ask, and hope that you can answer…what was the pattern name for the shawl you were wearing? I’m trying to find one to make, and that looks promising. If you’ve any other suggestions, please let me know. I’ve looked on Ravelry, but I didn’t see anything that caught my eye. You need to get another little dog, pup. Not being dismissive of little Mr Dennis but I know that feeling when you have had two dogs then are left with only one. The only cure is getting another, you will never replace the darling boy you lost but you have to much love just for Ms Lillian. Delete this if it not appropriate but it is sent with ❤️
We always seem to have a ‘pair’ of dogs. Not matched darlings like Lillian and Dennis. But when one has passed due to age or illness, the other literally morns. It takes a while of healing and adjustment after a death …. But the day comes when you’re ready. My vet told me ….. “You’re a good dog mom and some pup out there needs you.” Then once again, there are two🐶🐶
