Oh Paula, my dad got trunk and bought an old quarter horse, brought it home and then had to build a barn to keep it in. Then he had to put up an electric fence to keep the horse from running away. If I remember correctly, my dad had never even been on a horse in his life. I was ten years old at the time. Now I am 72 years old. Memories!
Free hand machine embroidery is some skill you have there! Amazing 🤩 Not to worry you, but you were sitting saying you'd had a prawn stir-fry & mentioned the side of your face was feeling hot. Then when you were running your bath you said about your cheek being all red. It could be you've spontaneously become allergic to prawns/shellfish, or if there was a bit of shell you may have cut the inside of your cheek & be getting an infection. Please keep an eye on it 🙏
Your free motion writing is fantastic! When I tried it years ago, I was told I needed a special foot, hoop and stabilizer on the back, but you just went and did it! Just goes to show sometimes we overcomplicate things. Congrats on your great check-up. ❤
I am happy you got great news at your check-up. I love your vlogs and Ian's bell ringing is a highlight for sure. I love his gentle tap of the bell, it makes me smile everytime! I also love how you put your apron on when you go to work. Thanks for sharing your days with us!
Your bags are lovely and cute! Happy for you’re your health report was very good! Got my blood test done a few weeks ago was good also, our doctor does it every year! Love your video’s you have a lovely peaceful calming voice! Thank you for Sharing! Hugs Liz 🇨🇦😊❤
Hi Paula, love that sock pattern and yarn together, Kay's latest pattern is lovely too cannot remember what its called but think its inspired by quilting. You must have a good "eye" for free motion writing on the sewing machine. So pleased you were happy with your health M.O.T check. Best wishes Chris from Kent
So pleased you are in fine fettle Paula💪 I am also 5ft 8”😅 1) having my hair cut, feel lighter! 2) had a new hobby fitted! 3) seeing Ian sooty feet, and also home in the litter tray😅. Enjoy your bath🛁🧼🫧 Hugs, Suze 🐈⬛🛎️🤗 x
Glad your health check came back normal. Love your vlogs. Bags are beautiful. Keep an eye on Ian, some times they sit in the litter when they have to go and can't. Not to worry. Make sure he is urinating. It's a thing.
I have a health check every year, if I don't book my appt the surgery's on the phone to me ! That's Norfolk for you, they're very good at looking after you if you do have health problems 🤪 x
I think you are very fortunate to have been offered a health check in your area. We don’t get anything like that but very pleased you got a clean bill of health! Love that you put on an apron to go to work!
I've given up trying to get a doctors appointment. A local pharmacist was able to examine me & prescribe antibiotics. Look in your area for this service.
I’m glad your health check went well and enjoy your breakfast with Peter. We’ve got a local FB group where some people ask ridiculous questions and I feel like saying “google it” 😂😂
Got to agree..Ian’s has lovely feet…highlight of my day seeing them again lol since I’ve never ever been offered a health check and I’m ancient! 😅😅 Glad you’ve passed with flying colours. Also I can pretty much guarantee that Ian wouldn’t sleep in the tray if it had been used. It’s cos it’s nice n clean. Bye for now👋👋
Didn't you have to fast before getting a cholesterol check? We just need to call the doctor to get any appointment we want here in the US. Annual checkups are usually paid for by insurance. I google everything 😂
A heath check is so important to check if anything is going the wrong way, im glad you got that and everything was fine. I live in Denmark , and I’m so lucky I get it all checked at least once a year , last my cholesterol was a little high , so now they keep and eye on it, and I’m going back soon on another appointment to check it again , im so grateful for that opportunity 🙏🏻. You are good with that free sewing , it’s not the easiest 😅. Wish you a lovely visit at your friend Peter 🐠🐟☕️
Paula, I’m glad you have a clean bill of health. That means many, many more years of vlogs from you. You are much taller than I thought. I’m a stumpy 5’3”. My health checks usually go well, but my iron and vitamin D is always really low. I need to get out in the sun more often, but not too much. I got sunburnt recently on a drizzly overcast day. I live in Australia and have a very English/Scottish complexion. Red hair and freckles, my youngest sister has dark hair and lovely olive skin. Why did I have to be the pasty one? 😂
Hi Paula... I am loving your Vlogs.....Please could you tell me if your Cosy Stripe Blanket is fingering weight or DK... I love it and would like to make one.. xxx
Every time I see those new bags I always think they look like you just with a different dog! Oh I wonder what Ian has been up to get such dirty hands!!!! Typical boy! I love the crunkled sock pattern, have you done the fairground pattern yet? That’s nice as well. Xx
Thank you for the info about the NHS health check. I’ve just googled it and will be booking my husband in via the GP - he doesn’t know as yet 🤭 Really enjoying your lovely vlogs x
As soon as you said health check I knew it would be your highlight of the day & chuckled out loud when you came back to tell us ❤️
What a quick and clever method to write on your bags, love it! Good that your health is good Excellent!

I think my project bag would have to be embroidered with ‘ I love Ian’s feet’!
Glad your health check came back normal. Love your vlogs. Bags are beautiful. Keep an eye on Ian, some times they sit in the litter when they have to go and can't. Not to worry. Make sure he is urinating. It's a thing.
Hi Paula pleased to hear you health check was all ok x

Yes Paula, I can definitely see you getting drunk and stealing a racehorse... Please please film it when you do! 🏇🏼

Wow. That is precision. When I tried to do free motion, it looked like spiders had crawled all over the fabric. The socks are gorgeous.
Hello Paula
I love that you started wearing an apron when you “go to work”
Another lovely vlog!💐🧶💕☕️
Great check-up! Well done. That is fantastic all around and now you should enjoy every day knowing you have many, many healthy ones ahead!
Dirty feet means he had a good time 😊
That was quick getting your cholesterol results straight away. Here in Cheshire we always have to ring the surgery after 3 days to get the results.
Liked this. You really are an interesting family, my wife and I look forward to your podcasts.
Wow! You are great at freehand! Now I’m going to try it. 😘😘😘😘😘😘😘😘I’m also happy for you for your clean bill of health!❤
You cheer me up a rumun……. You’ve also inspired me to knit socks, 🤞🏻lovely Ian.
It's lovely to see you get a clean bill of health. Have a terrific weekend Paula. 🥰
You are very lucky to have that health check offered to you. Where I live it is impossible to get a doctor's appointment even when the need is urgent.
I've given up trying to get a doctors appointment. A local pharmacist was able to examine me & prescribe antibiotics. Look in your area for this service.
Thanks Paula really great video as always.

Thanks for another fun vlog! What kind of sewing machine do you use -it must be a work horse! How often do you have to get it properly serviced? ❤

I google everything 😂
I've found that quilting makes a lot of dust and I make junk journals, too, which can create dust.

Wow you are so statuesque! 5’8” a tall drink of water, that’s why James fell in love with you, your kind, Loughlin to laugh and statuesque !
