As someone on the autism spectrum, I cannot emphasize enough how much I appreciate everything you said in this. It was just... Thank you, Miss Cleo. Really. The things you said in this meant a lot to me. And thank you so much as well, Matt, for the script.
@Blindluck92 can i tell you something. In life, you'll have people say hurtful things about you because you're autistic and it will hurt. But let what they say just bounce right off of you because you will find someone who loves you for who you are. You'll find someone who'll comfort you when you're sad and will make you laugh after a hard day. I know it :)
Thank you for making this, both MattyestMatt and Miss Cleo, it almost brought tears to my eyes. I've never been officially diagnosed as being on the spectrum (though my parents had me evaluated many times). The psychiatrists who evaluated me seemed to have very antiquated ideas about autism, like how I'm "too compassionate" to be autistic, whatever that means. That being said, I certainly experience a lot of things similarly to autistic people, despite not wanting to claim a neurodivergance that I do not have. This really, really means a lot to me. Thank you.
I was professionally diagnosed at the age of 1. Maybe a few months before I turned one, I can't recall my younger days. Right now, its a few hours before my next birthday and its been an emotional roller-coaster to say the least because of anxiety and the people around me continously making loud noises. Thank you for making this comfort audio, Miss Cleo. I am in your debt.
This is an awesome audio! Since I’m on the autism spectrum, having Aspergers, I can really relate to this! This was very comforting, very well done! Much respect!
so i'm autistic, i'm very glad of this audio. even if some of this doesn't affect me anymore or never affect me. it's amazing. the lound nose doesn't affect me anymore like the new place and the number of people but i never has a routine
0:11 omg as soon as you mentionned the Egypt exhibit that reminded me of my old special interests and hyperfixation about ancient Egypt ! :D ( I loved ancient Egypt when I was a kid ! )
I was born with autism, and I have been though alot in my life. This has been amazing. I love it. It helps me when im in my darkest moments. You are a life saver, thank you very much. I mean it from the bottom of my heart.
Why didn’t I search this up sooner?! This was incredible! Having your brain hardwired a complete different way is tough, I should know! But this gives lots of reassurance for that. Excellent job, you did great!!👍👍
Wow I loved that audio! Gosh you really did an amazing job at filling this amazinf script. You were so comforting and carring. "Can I hug you?", yes please 🙂💙... Your voice acting was really good! A great audio but also video, I love the new video style! It looks great!
(question for other autistic people) does anyone else hate it when people say "on the autism spectrum" instead of just saying autistic or has/have autism? it always just feels to me like they're sneaking around saying autistic like it's a dirty word
As someone who has Asperger’s syndrome, this video actually hit close to home, and while I no longer stick to routines or have a dislike for change, it made me smile
I've had autism and ADHD since I was born, but it was undiagnosed for years because my parents couldn't afford. Both issues were undiagnosed for at least 8 years, and they only worsened as I remained unmedicated. Needless to say, I have come far, as I have become the first in my immediate biological family to get a college degree. Not only did I get a college degree, but I managed to get it 9 days before my diploma. It's also quite ironic because I have some hearing damage because I play my music too loud.
Sorry I had to tell you this but I’m at my actual artistic listening to this video it makes me feel like I have the power because sometimes you don’t want to play the music loud I don’t really mind order what I am outside in public and I hear people yeah I may run away if this is kind of final fantasy I will press the flee button
i got Low Functioning Autism But aswell as ADHD, but i'd imagine if i was on the higher bits of the Spectrum, i'd be alot more distant and alone more, but also kinda like this in the video. i'd also make various sounds and clicks because i can do dat | >
For Someone Who Experiences Autism This Audio Has Really Moved Me in Ways i Couldn't Begin To Explain. 🥹♥️ But What Hurts Me The Most is That i Have Nobody Special in My Life To Comfort Me Or To Tell Me Everything is Going To Be Okay, That's What Truly Hurts Me More Than Anything Else in The World. 💔 But Anyway You Did A Very Amazing Job With This One. Thankyou So Much For The Lovely Audio And i Hope You're Having A Wonderful Day! 🙏❤
And also the lights can cause overstimulating and it’s 10 times worse if it’s fluorescent lights because me and i heard others say that those make humming.
I am on the spectrum specifically asburgers this just reminds me on how good others can be and makes me feel like my asd isn’t a pressure cooker waiting to explode. 10/10
