ASMR Comfort Audio Roleplay
Audio recorded by the incredible @SanguineVA
Original script by @silentauthor-xx
I have a goal of creating a space where those in the autistic/neurodiverse community can find comfort in times of need.
Let me know in the comments if there is a particular situation you'd love to have turned into a roleplay and I'll see what I can do!

wait i love the fact he immediately says "don't worry i'm not gonna touch you" i hate being touched when im overwhelmed 😭
One of the scripts im working on is non touching from start to finish... stay tuned 😊
@@silentauthor-xx oooo! i love that, your channel is super underrated btw! definitely subscribing :3
thanks - I'm only just starting out and I find self-promotion quite weird and uncomfortable 😅, but I'm really enjoying doing this stuff (when health etc. permits!) and hope it continues to grow
@@silentauthor-xx totally! i'm sure you're channel will grow faster than you expect with the way you're going :)
As someone with autism, I can get easily overwhelmed, and I start crying. This ASMR really helps and it helps people understand autism a little bit more. Thank you for this.
I loved when he asked them if it’s ok to touch them 🥺
Wow I’m so happy I found this. Thank you. As an autistic semi verbal person who has their fair share or melt downs and shutdowns this was so comforting to listen to. I appreciate you so deeply. 🤟
Thank you so much for your comment, it means a lot to hear this is serving its purpose ❤
I’m so so happy to see representation like this!! This is so comforting thank you so much
I'm so glad!
I really love that youre dedicating a channel to people with autism and neurodiversity🙌👏Im waiting for a diagnose since im suspecting im autistic or have adhd. U have a really calming voice and as someone who loves asmr and get easily overhelmed i feel like ur videos will help me a lot! Great work!
Thank you! They are my words but not my voice (trust me, no one wants to hear that!). This particular audio was voiced by @SanguineVA, who is exceptionally talented. You should check out his channel if you haven't already www.youtube.com/@SanguineVA
I'm sure you sound fine and this helped me a lot bc I just got back from school after a really long day and I'm highly autistic so this helps so much@@silentauthor-xx
This is what i need. this makes me feel so so safe, thank you for understanding that shutdowns mostly are non verble. i listen to this when i have them, makes me feel so safe, loved, and understood. thank you so so much. 😊
I'm so glad to this helps, thank you so much for sharing ❤️🧡💛💚🩵💙💜
I'm loving it! I was diagnosed 2 years ago and only found out about these videos now! Since I'm aromantic and asexual, I like to imagine that it's some of my comfort characters talking. Thanks
I clicked on this with an 'if i end up mentally needing this i will cry'
Update: I'm crying
I'm sorry that you needed this, but I hope it was able to help you in some way ❤️
@@silentauthor-xx it did, thank you
As a person that was diagnosed with what was formally assberger syndrome or what ever that shitty name was I, I hate being in the middle aware enough to know my idiotic mistakes but still stupid enough to make dumb mistakes and I can’t stop my self for what ever fucking reason. Part of me wishes it was worse so I didn’t have to be treated like shit mentally or physically
I had the worst day at work toady and I didn´t realise how overstimulated I was until I listened to this and started bawling my eyes out /pos
Thank you so much!!
I'm sorry you had such a bad day but I'm glad this was able to help you
I usually dont cry while listening to these audios, but this just triggered something 😢

As a girl with autism, and selective mutism this is a great video about shutdowns and helps me depending on how bad it is. ❤

I love this! I have Asperger’s syndrome also known as high functioning autism and this is a very wholesome video idea 😁

I dont have autims, only ADHD andits sorelatable😭

We wants a new video like this please 😩😩😩😩😩😩
I get really bad sensory overloads, and I shut myself off from everyone, and this help me during 1
Does Sanguine VA have any more scripts from you?
Not at the moment, but I would 100% work with him again.
I encourage you to check out his channel www.youtube.com/@SanguineVA, he has a few different comfort audios that are awesome.
Is there a particular scenario you'd like to hear? I'd love to have suggestions from listeners.
@@silentauthor-xx like in General or as a comfort audio?
Comfort audio is my niche, but I like to incorporate elements that speak to the experience or challenges of autism. I'm always looking for new ideas, I can't guarantee they'll make it into my writing in a literal sense but I'd love to hear them 😊
@@silentauthor-xxAh ok. Well here it goes. Sleep aid, hypnosis or meditation is good pretty much everyday. As for a Scenario how about a Scientist and Experiment? (Not in regards to people thinking ADD or ADHD is Alien or something like that. I just like the trope) Think like maybe a slightly uncomfortable Situation like medication, needles, or Tests, Questionare,...
If you are open to funny stuff, how about a Teacher talking to the only Neurotypical in class as if they are the "weird one" (I myself am quite weird and ADHD and find it as a compliment). A college talking about the quirks in behavior and communication of the New NT hire. Like they don't talk about a Story of their own to show sympathy or can sit still and just get stuff done (I was told "normal people" see it as rude and egotistical? Wich Shows I need to learn more and pretty much all my friends and acquaintances are not like these people who told me, because they do the exact same thing as I)
Hope that is a Muse for you
WOW! So many great ideas - thank you! Definitely sparking some new threads in my brain, especially flipping the ND/NT roles...
This is really good thank you! But the puzzle piece?
Thank you for your comment, I am well aware of the history of Autism Speaks. I appreciate the impact the organization had and trauma it caused many people and in no way do I condone its actions. However, the puzzle piece holds a special significance for me personally, which is why I designed this icon for my channel as it is.
Each element in its design - its shape, orientation, outline, colours and their placement/distribution represent different parts of my journey. I went through several iterations in its creation, and settled with something I am very happy with, and in my opinion, very different to anything Autism Speaks used. The personal details behind the design choices are not something I intend to share publicly, but I hope you can understand that symbols can hold different meanings to different people.
I considered that some people may choose not to engage with my channel (or choose to engage negatively) as a result of my choice of symbology, however I choose to accept those consequences and create what brings me joy and inspires me to keep going.
