I LOVE my new Techwood hot plate! It's amazing! I can cook anything on it, and it quickly boils water. I make coffee in an Italian Bialetti Moka Pot. I fill it with room temperature bottled water, and it boils and makes coffee on low temperature when I set it in the middle of the hot plate. I use the Tasty non-stick cookware, so all I really need to do is wipe them out with a paper towel when I'm done.
dang dude gotta do the alum foil trick lol. so where is this setup? in the closet behind the drivers seat? couldn't figure it out but I could see daylight so maybe you have a door there? I'd have to just cook off my icechest sitting on the passengers seat if that hotplate didn't melt my cooler top.
The cook top is your truck, pan your trailer and food your cargo. Gotta calculate all the costs. That was about $5. Id say that's better than truck stop but still. Have you tried a pressure cooker? Sorry, new here. Sort of.
Unfortunately it's not battery powered. It's plugged into a power inverter which converts my semi truck's battery power to an outlet. It operates on 110v power.
