Besides the scope cover get yourself a solo hunter mountain lite rifle cover that slips over your whole rifle goes on easy, and comes off easy protects your whole rifle from the elements. One week of solid rain in Newfoundland rusted up my safety on a stainless rifle so bad I barely got it off with a moose 50 ft away staring at me. After that I bought one.

Just curious, the Sequoia is a big bag, are you using a compression sack of some kind to make it fit in your pack? Do you put the sleeping bag in the very bottom of your pack? I'm am just unboxing my brand new Unaweep 4800 today and while I can get my WM Bristlecone in the pack it's a real fight. I've got it compressed in a Zpacks dyneema dry bag as I can't find a true compression sack that large. Thx for any insights. Very impressed with my new pack btw.

Im using the supplied compression bag. The bag is pretty big but for me its worth it as I really prioritize comfort in my sleep system. I have a 15 degree marmot I take for warmer camping trips but I really want to get another WM bag Specifically a quilt to minimize how much space it takes up. Happy to hear the pack is working well for you!

How did your pack perform with the wet weather? Did it rain much and did any of your gear get wet inside? Seek Ouside doesn't seam seal their packs unfortunately, but I'm curious if it mattered. Thanks!

I've been to Alaska twice with our packs, with substantial amounts of rain. I have not had any water penetration (to my knowledge) in both of my visits

That's fantastic! Why don't you guys seam seal the packs? Is that somthing customers can pay extra for? Just curious. Thanks again for your response!@@seekoutsidegear

Not the average joe can afford a 900.00 sleeping bag 😂
