Idowu Animashaun might has well be best 'juju' musician of all times. A friend gave me a scoop on his career. I want music lovers to come and jive about the APOLA KING. His sound is perfect!!!
@oyedel1999 Thanks for the comment. When it comes to miliki sound, Idowu Animasawun was in the same league with Ebenezer Obey. He will go down as one of the modernizer of juju genre as we know it. Check itune for more of his music. Cheers.
Planetolusola, thanks for posting this great musician work. When we talk about juju music many people only think of king sunny and some remember ebenezer Obey. In the 70's when Obey and Sunny were commanding social scenes in Lagos, Apola king reigned supreme in Ibadan. Where can I get all his apola series? He was the ace of TYC, Sunny ace of African songs.
