Porter has had such a disproportionate impact on my life compared to any other musical artist. I find his music so engaging and meaningful ❤ wish I could drink a tea or coffee with him and simply thank him for all of his beautiful creations

It's so interesting seeing so many people feel the same thing in regards to Porter. Disproportionate is such a great word to use. Porter's authenticity and sheer attention to emotional detail and storytelling cuts through everything else I listen to. In some ways there is a relatability there that you just don't feel with anyone else's music. The relatability makes working through hardships just a little bit easier... When someone else has found a way to craft an emotive work that encapsulates you and lets you know that you're not alone in such a profound way. It makes sense that so many people seem to desire meeting him if just to thank him for the positive impact that he has had. Thats why he's the goat.
