This set wouldn’t be so hyped up if they did not throw in the God packs! It’s honestly a set for players or people trying to get into the game that can’t afford some of the expensive cards that they reprinted. That’s why it’s my opinion. Any of the cards are in this set are going to be mass produced and widely available. That is the whole point of this set to make the cards that are in this set available to players because they are meant to be played! So I would definitely hold off on buying any of the cards in this set due to the fact that there’s going to be a lot of them available. Again, this is a reprint set to make the cards that are in this set more available to players..
Last week at my local shop there was an Open auction, One of the items was a prb-01 booster that was taken out of an ST, and it sold for around $30 now if you take into consideration this took place in Latam that is a lot of money!!! insane.
Man, PRB01 really highlights the difference between the west and the east. When PRB01 released in here in Asia, that was the best time to buy singles. SRs and SECs became cheap when PRB landed.
Because it released as one full product. Releasing the English starters with English PRB before the full PRB release is what did this to the English market. Shit is wack, horrible move on bandais part. Just wait two weeks for the full PRB release and all these cards will level back out to the Asian market prices.
Yea that definitely happened. I have 2 extra Katakuri and Smoker decks and 1 extra Uta deck just cuz I bought them for the packs. Had 1 guy buy 4 of each SD just for the packs. The idea was great but of course the demand for the packs made these decks hotter than they would have been normally.

I've bought 2 booster boxes for $105 each. And then traded a gold don luffy i pulled [$150 when traded before the price drop] for a 3rd box an about 80 singles i needed for decks. 😅 I don't think I did too bad. Loving this set honestly.

Picking up 4 boxes this Friday from some LGS. One of them slightly overcharging at 145 per box and that's my limit for a reprints set primarily because it has a lot of playable cards I need.
I managed to get one box and pulled manga Nami. With it having the mark to distinguish between the first print and this, I think I'll just hold on to it for a while instead of trying to sell it off. Meanwhile, can't find a single starter deck anywhere.

Gold don will be 2 per case (1 per 5 booster boxes). Zoro gold Don is 1 of 30 gold Don. So it will, on average, be 1 in every 15 cases (150 booster boxes). So it is as rare as a manga rare in most sets 😂 But I get what you mean, these are the usual inflated "prerelease" prices 😊

This set isn't good for new players and old players cause they have already reprinted all the old sets into the ground and are still printing them. The prices on cards is very very very low right now and theres way to much out there

Overall the big issue was releasing PRB-01 with the starter decks in English. This has ruined the English market for the next couple weeks, and has caused a LOT of price gouging at LGS’s on these starter decks.

To be fair, English don cards are legal in Japan, so there is a dual market that may increase or decrease the price of these special dons
