Universo 2000 immediately entered my list of coolest ring names ever
Thats so fun, because i always felt his name was so derivative.
Universo 2000, is the younger of 3 brothers, his name is a twist on his older brother Mascara Año 2000, whose name is a twist on his older brother Cien Caras, who used to go by Mil Caras until Mil Mascaras (not related but related to dos caras) make him stop.
But that is the kind of lore you only get by growing up in Mexico in the 90's, i guess if you see Universo 2000 in a vacum it is a cool name
also FYI its supose to be Universo Dos Mil, you know 2000 in spanish

Cien Caras little brother
Los Hermanos Dinamita (Cien Caras Mascara Año 2000 y Universo 2000) were Mexico's top heel act in the 90's and a big reason why Trios wrestling is so big in Mexico.
Cien Caras was the top guy of the stable and him and Mascara Año 2000 worked as a Tag for a long time before Universo 2000 (the youngest) joined them, but when Cien Caras lost his Mask and semi-retired Universo started getting pushed
Another important thing to have in mind, is that the Heavy Weight Championship is not CMLL top belt, CMLL is (or at least used to be) structured a lot like Boxing. and just like boxing they give more screen time to the weight class where the more popular guy is at any given time, so it is common to see Long reigns just becouse creative forgot about them.

Jarrett was heavy the first few years but once the roster got deeper he didn't hold it that much
