After growing my entire hairline back, my loctician this entire year was able to install over 30- new interlocs in my head. It took a few months for most of them to stay, and they have grown. I have about 4 that still unravel. And I will braid and band all the new locs just in case when I do wash my hair. And I am a gym girly. I wear headbands, hats, and bananas when I go to the gym. So I don't care what my hair looks like underneath any of those things. 😂 I'm there to workout not to be cute...💪🏾
I needed these tips when I started my loc journey. My locks unraveled and I paid about $1700 to have them repaired. I crocheted the ends because repaired are expensive
Quick question I started my sisterlock journey back in Feb 24 and I just had my loctitan to cut off the straight ends from me having perm in which I started with .it had length but I 'm not worried about the length just wondering should I done it sooner. But I don't think that she wanted to, But I think this will make my hair flourish from here on out. Give me your opinion. I think that I made the right decision. Thanks for all of your tutorials. Have blessed rest of your evening.
I have microlocs, and since my installation (9/07/22), I was able to grow the entire 3" of my hairline back. So my loctician was able to install over 30 new interlocs/sisterlocs back. It took a few months for most of them to stay, and they are locking now. But I have about 4 that keeps unraveling..😂 I'm just happy that I got my hairline back, so I'll take the unraveling 😅
I braid and barrette when I shampoo my locks.

Can you do or do you have a video showing how to crochet?

I just got my Sisterlocks on 11/18/25 this isn’t my first set either. This is good info for newbies or even seasoned sister too. 😊
😂😂 I'm sorry Pauline. I started using hair glue and it works. But the glue is rubber, so it eventually come out.

Ummm. 🤔 Good point. I have 2 to 4 inches of loose hair. But I've been trimming my hair lately.
Also, I have started knotting my ends. 😂😂😂 But it works. I'm sorry.
Can I use ocean water?? I live near the beach...🤷♀️
What issues, if any, could be caused by trimming a tiny portion of your loosed ends (if you only have about a half inch of loosed ends)?
I needed this. I have five new baby sisterlocks. No matter what I do, they still unravel. As soon as water hits them, they unravel 😅

If your locs have matured and you have some bunching, how can you fix those?
