The link to the download for the tree and stem template is right below the PDF, it says "Download the templates for the tree and stem HERE" click on the "HERE" and it will take you to the template. Sorry the writing is so small, my daughter Monica does all of our website editing, but she is out of town for the International Quilt Festival right now! I'll have her make the link larger so it's easier to see as soon as she can :).

Love your tutorials! I kept saying “trunk” every time you said “stem!” . It’s OK, we can all relate. I I constantly lose my words, especially when I make videos. . Happy holidays - I wish you posted more often. I think I’ve watched everything at least once I love your quilts and sewing so much!

Donna what I love about your own design videos is that you share how you came up with the design and your plan for the shopping, cutting , organizing and your not afraid to show the envelope you doddled it all on.

Your tutorials are excellent and the camera work is so close that we can see exactly what you are doing. You are an brilliant teacher, you explain things so well with some great tips to help us. I love the fact that you do tutorial on different things other than quilts. I would like to say a big thank you for sharing all your work it is very much appreciated 😀

Your videos are for the newbies and for those of us who have been around along time. There are so many "little tricks" to making a project "perfect". The steps you show us are very precise and you explain why to do it just that way ... When you explain why ... it tends to stay with a person longer. Keep up the good work ... it's beautiful and a pleasure to learn from a teacher such as you.

I have always failed miserably when it comes to appliqué. I have stitch and tear for embroidery but never thought of using a stabiliser for appliqué. I am definitely going to try again now. Thank you for all of our great videos.

Many years ago I made a tablecloth with applique and didn't know why my applique was not completely flat.
I didn't know that I had to use a stabilizer, this time I hope it will be better thanks to your tutorial!

Very nice! I love all your pillow videos (and all your videos!). I check every day to see if there's a new one. And the fabric you used for this one is beautiful. Wouldn't this work for a table runner also - maybe 3 trees in a row, without the ruffle of course? I would love to have one of these pillows but I have a crazy 90-lb dog who thinks pillows are toys especially for him. In the meantime, it's a good idea for a gift!

I just downloaded the instructions and template for the tree. The tree image is only 6" tall with a lot of white space around it but the one you are sewing looks bigger than that. I've tried to adjust it to print larger but haven't been able to do that. How tall should the tree actually be?
