Do you really collect the cards for the logo? Or do you collect them for the players. Also, panini has a much better product selection. Think about the topps product lineup: Chrome, Chrome Update, Chrome Black, Chrome Sapphire, Chrome Sapphire Update, Bowman Chrome, Bowman Chrome Sapphire, Bowman Draft Sapphire, Chrome Ben Baller, Chrome Sonic, Chrome Platinum, Chrome Allen & Ginter…..
I never said I collect them for the logo but it’s makes the cards official. No logo and no team names makes it look cheap and like a bootleg copy. It’s a sign always of how they won’t pay for the proper contract but still want to charge the same if not more than Topps who does have the contract. Plus, Panini’s products are trash. They never update the look of the cards. So boring
I took my 14-year-old to the Yankees/O’s series last weekend. You are right about bad blood! Haha. We are O’s fans and the Sunday walk off was amazing. But Friday, we went down for autos and had front row seats for the brawl. Didn’t get any autos, but got manager signed lineup cards (was going to post a pic here but couldn’t figure out how). Love the videos and god bless baseball!!!
I use the spacers to put the Topps superbox pins in. I pin 4 of them per spacer then put the spacer in a 25ct clamshell with a piece of foam behind them it displays pretty neat.
These rookie card will be rare since the player wouldn’t be appearing panini products again until they are retiring. These unlicense rookie cards might worth a lot of money in the future. If they became super star and became hall of fame.
Panini is lazy and their products are always so derivative of the past years. I understand that some sets have certain design elements that are staples to them, but with panini it’s like you can’t even tell what year they are because they all look almost identical. Unless you like prospect cards this product is pretty much useless. If you like prospect cards that are unlicensed you might as well just go buy leaf products. They are usually cheaper and at least have chances for cool stuff.
I would rather this than a Topps hobby box. A hit or #'d card every other pack makes it more fun to open for me. Obviously, its not for collectors who like to sell cards that they break.
First time opening a blaster of this set and the first pack I got a Paul Skenes rates prospects , and third pack I got the prospect jersey kings cracked ice relic with a black jersey!!
Hello, I love watching your videos, and I had a question. Do you have a lot of the thicker white cardboard pack spacers? If you do not want them I would love to take those off of your hands. Please let me know. Thank you!
I would give it a solid F. I think the design is terrible and combine that with no active players or licensing. I don't think I would buy a box for half that price.
chrome is gorgeous but at price is extremely dusty. will be rough.sticking to archives hobby with 2 on card autos for 135 and series 2 hobby if i can get them for 95 or less. wont touch donruss with a 1000 ft pole lol
@@countryclubbin1016 I’ve had great luck with archives including a double sided adley Gunnar auto, SSP jeter Ortiz double sided. I’ve broke even over the last 2 months in personals ripping 20 hobby boxes of series 2 and 8 of archives hobby. How many people can say they are even or in the green from personals in a 2 month span?? At that volume. Value is value, and donruss ain’t it
Its sad what Donruss has become. Its just so cheesy. It was a staple of my childhood collecting, but now I don't see the point. The box prices should be much less. Cheap product.
It's your personal collection, you should collect whatever makes you happy. Don't let the sport card purists tell you you can't collect any cards that aren't made by Topps or don't feature Judge and Ohtani.
Looks alright but a C is about right it looks more USA baseball but $150 is way too high I can see it coming down soon but I respect you Jabs for at least trying it!! 🎉
Panini baseball products in my opinion are always a fun rip, but the prices have to be cheaper. If you don’t have active players AND licensing it kinda kills the modernity of the product. Glad they put alot of numbered cards. But I agree that it should be under $100 fir the product
Is it just me or what as I don't like old/veteran players in new releases. I think it should only be new and current players only. I don't want a Frank Thomas card in my 2024 baseball card sets for example and i'm a Frank/White Sox fan. What do you all think.
too expensive for what it is for me. the guaranteed hit per blaster sounds good on the surface but I suspect they are gonna be no name prospects that end up in the dollar box. I liked the 2 relics the best and the skenes optic card. I've never heard of any of the autos before.
I'd say the only thing I like is the front design. I like the colorful and playful look of them, which contrasts Topps more straightforward and somewhat bland designs. But yeah, the cost, the lack of the license, the boring backs... that's a pass for me. I wish more companies would have the license so we could actually have meaningful competition between the brands. More competition = better cards and more competitive pricing = better for the hobby.
Yeah design is poor. I overall like Panani, has more variety in their designs except for prism. But they gotta admit they lost to Topps and be the second rate card producer. Should be cheaper prices but honestly with Topps jacking up their prices it’s an opportunity.
26:15 I don't like the older players. We don't need to do that. The card design is terrible. This is 2024, and the card creativeness should be way better. What a boring set of boxes they've made.
The photos are on the cards are too small in my opinion. Just like Donruss in the 80s to 91s, just lazy as all get out on the back... I'll pass but I'm sure others will be happy with them.
Why would anyone pay $ for these? Especially the crazy high prices theyre charging. Isnt topps and Bowman the only baseball cards thatll hold value because panini doesnt own any of the mlb rights???
Should be more like $60 a box
Completely agree
Why would anyone buy these? No current players besides Rookies. Not logos or teams. And Panini always has a cheap looking design

@zacharybarnett8866 Well said !!! I like to collect players not logos.

If I had a zero dollar budget for a little league team, this might be the design I came up with...
At $150, Panini needs more numbered chase cards
The design is growing on me, but 2023 is still my favorite so far.
Personally I’m more likely to buy this then Topps chrome. Topps is charging way too much. Once I finish completing series 2 I might work on this one.
Those cards look dumb with no logos or team names. Hot garbage! Not worth the cardboard they're printed on.
I use the spacers to put the Topps superbox pins in. I pin 4 of them per spacer then put the spacer in a 25ct clamshell with a piece of foam behind them it displays pretty neat.

I bought 2 blaster boxes at Walmart today, both contained a Paul Skenes memorabilia card.
Got My packages!thanks, the guardians autos were awesome
12:21 i got that exact card but numbered to 25. How good is that?

That Sheff card @7:50 is a throwback to the 1984 Donruss oversized cards.
I would rather this than a Topps hobby box. A hit or #'d card every other pack makes it more fun to open for me. Obviously, its not for collectors who like to sell cards that they break.
That black Colton cowser is sweet.
Brutal design. You’d think they’d try a little harder being unlicensed.
First time opening a blaster of this set and the first pack I got a Paul Skenes rates prospects , and third pack I got the prospect jersey kings cracked ice relic with a black jersey!!
Oh and an Aidan miller to /49

I don’t. I use them up right away when I get them
@@JabsFamily copy that, thank you

Will you have the donruss or topps chrome 2024 in the whatnot shop?
Topps Chrome Cubs breaks are way too high priced for me so i am not doing any Chrome Breaks right now, just don't have the money.

@ricog2343 how many Brian Wilson and dontrelle Willis autos have you pulled sticking to archives 😂😂😂

How do collectors feel about non licensed baseball? Just wondering as I’m a newer baseball collector getting back into it since 200

I liked this product, opened it today, got a 1 of 1 vinyl of some no name rookie. Maybe it’s still worth something. Marlins rookie
Henry Davis was on the covers of 2021 Bowman Draft, 2022 pro debut and 2022 Bowman Chrome Megas!
Also 2021 elite extra edition
Donruss should have the Insert Elites return with one every few cases or whatever the odds were in the past.
I was hoping these would be better so as to put a dent in the Topps monopoly but the autos just are not moving the needle for me.
Looks alright but a C is about right it looks more USA baseball but $150 is way too high I can see it coming down soon but I respect you Jabs for at least trying it!! 🎉

I can't believe I didn't know Ricky Henderson won a world series with the Blue Jays in 94. Awesome!
That's because he won it with them in 93 😊
Love that Dylan crews relic

Couldn't agree more, and I'm a big Ripken collector.
12:21 I just pulled that card but numbered to 25. Is that crazy? or Nah
18:54. This same one just numbered to 25

How is witt not in the players union
How do they still make these every year. I would think no one buys them at $150 a box or even half that price.
how do I get into a break of yours jabs?
Join our Patreon page or check out whatnot Wednesdays. Thank you!
Ke’bryan Hayes was on 2021Bowman Chrome I think
These look like homemade bootleg cards
Doruss is the official sponsor of AARP

What are the odds they will get rights back for logos????
It’s should be $49
21:34 Was that Jose Conseco misprinted?? 😅 it looks like the name on the front is ridiculously off 😮
Looks like 2022 gallery design
The fact they still make donruss retail blasters is nuts to me. Unlicensed toilet paper
I Got lucky as hell but I Pulled a 2024 panini donruss orange cracked ice paul skenes #23
Yeah design is poor. I overall like Panani, has more variety in their designs except for prism. But they gotta admit they lost to Topps and be the second rate card producer. Should be cheaper prices but honestly with Topps jacking up their prices it’s an opportunity.
He's cool but jabs keeps on showing the last card first when it has potential to be the big card...no surprises lol
Maybe $89.99 a box.
There is nothing special about these about as crappy as Prizm Baseball
Pass on donruss
Keep in mind, this will be the same design for football and basketball. WOOF
I only like the Marvels in this set
Member Henry Davis was on the front of something

I wouldn't pay 20 bucks for this crap. 10 maybe but just if I'm really jonesin' to rip something. F-
These cards do not look good at all…
I hate the design and the lack of logos, just looks like amateur trash.
Ehh waste of money
1st
These are genuinely terrible looking.
Donruss is just lazy or content
These look like 🗑 - no thanks
I would give this Product a B.
