I just came rushing back to this video to call you a bad influence because a ginormous box just arrived at my house from Dalston mills. But then I opened it and oh my god. I have 14 different fabrics and I think maybe 2 of them are a miss. This is amazing, thank you for letting me know about this😍
You could trim the hotel carpet fabric with a colorful one on the edges, making it more luxurious, less carpety or you could try to play with the vertical stripes making an interesting overcoat inspired by medival and viking fashion
I've been grabbing bits and bobs for a Viking costume recently and your beige herringbone wouldn't look out of place as a thickish layer at a Viking larp. If you don't want to sew the damn thing, just stick a pennanular brooch in it and call it a rectangle cloak.

The hotel carpet fabric would probably make a good lined coat or jacket for the colder seasons. Or you upholster some chair... As for the white stretch fabric: that white dress looks awesome!! But if not: why not make something normal like a top, something for every day wear?!

I could see both the dark crepey/chiffon plus the white rose fabric, together, would make a really swooshy, reversible kimono to wear over a fitted kirtle made with the hot pink wool. You hit the jackpot with this haul....doesn't it feel good when you take a risk and it works out well? Happy designing. :)
I think the hotel carpet fabric would be fab for accessories such as bags, hoods and leg wrappings. There is also the IC tent rug option if you are truly stuck. Depending on the genre of LARP you go to, it can be anything from padded armour to a glorious Pratchet Wizard style hat. You did well with those velvets. I once got a random mystery bag from Coalville fabrics that included 3 metres of leapord print stretch PVC... So gloriously daft I am still waiting for the perfect project for it.
I played Queen Mab at a larp as an NPC and made a chiton out of a similar sheer black chiffon, it's such a good look and if that's what you make, I can't wait to see it!!

On the white: Spandex gives 4-way stretch in a knit fabric, and you can donate it. Or, you could make a giant vampire lady dress... (is that the same character Karolina Zebrowska did a video about?). And the pink is really lovely! No ideas on the beige stripe. Good luck!
That was interesting to watch! Deciding what to do with a piece of fabric is so much fun. I'm too picky about fibre content to buy a bundle of mystery fabrics, but I do love getting clearance silk or wool remnants and then thinking of what to do with them. The hotel carpet fabric looks kind of similar to the coarse brown linen I got recently for 18th century waistcoat backs, but it's probably too thick and fray-y for that. Maybe useful for something plain and practical like grocery bags? I think if you love the blue floral stuff so much you should make something for everyday wear out of it! And I can relate to thinking "I could make a dress out of that" about every piece of fabric, except for me it's "I could make a waistcoat out of that"! I see a small piece of fabric and I go "ooh that's enough for a waistcoat" and I see a larger piece of fabric and go "I could make a coat and/or a pair of breeches, and then have enough left for a waistcoat". Last week my mother gave me a metre of lovely black wool and I've already decided I'm going to make 3 waistcoats out of it.
I need to find a place like this on the east coast of the US. I don't even really wear dresses outside of formal occasions, but the temptation to make dresses whenever I see a nice fabric is sooo real. Got to say though, recently ordered my own mystery fabric thing (from Minerva), though I had nowhere near the luck you did. Probably because almost all the fabric I got were weirdly skinny long strips that aren't really useable for anything without piecing? And some of them were just shredded towards one end, which was... very strange. I'll probably check out Dalston and Pound a Metre (once I've recovered from this one lol), I was pretty impressed with what you got!
Yes yes to the lady demetrescu costume out of that white stretchy fabric. That beautiful blue white rose fabric I personally would make a circle skirt out of. Yes to the black and white Polk dots as pants or culottes. The striped uphostry fabric you don't know what to do with? I can see you in a fitted Victorian style vest in that fabric with a dark shirt under.
With your "hotel room carpet" fabric, I personally would make a rug. Just hem it and put it on the floor. Maybe double it over if I was feeling fancy. :)

This is making me wish that this was available in Australia (or that it wouldn’t cost eleventy million dollars for shipping). Because that’s actually a very respectable haul for those prices. Hell, the wools alone. I can’t get anything with wool in it for less than $30/m. And 100% wool is not less than $55/m. You’d never know that Australia is one of the top 3 producers of wool on the world with how bloody expensive it is here.
I feel like the white herringbone stuff could make a blanket, encase those horrid edges and use it as an outside blanket?? Gotta admit, thats a last ditch effort XD
