  • Here I show the main parts of the Slishman Pressure Wrap as well as the case. I also show application to my left arm. Towards the end some alternative applications are mentioned. Use for splinting sprains, strains or fractures, or to limit hematoma formation after contusions. Use for rotational stability in the case of lower leg fracture. Many other uses exist. But importantly, please don't wrap around the neck! ... obviously.

Picked up 5 from Refuge Medical, thank you for making it affordable so I could do so. 2 kids...so 2 in my car, 2 in my wife's car, 1 kept at home.
Just wrapped my 10 year old to demonstrate, and he was very grateful when I took it off haha
    Keep up the good work!

A pressure bandage that can be easily self-applied? That's a genuinely brilliant idea. This will unquestionably save lives - great invension!

Hey thanks very much. Hopefully it will help many folks. So far I think it's mainly been used on my kids' heads when they bonk.:)

I'll be reviewing this item for my buddy at Prepared Citizens who includes it in his "Minuteman IFAK" kit soon. It's definitely an interesting product.

My wife just picked one up from refuge medical. Our son is a small guy 10 years old. So I was a little hesitant on using a CAT TQ on his arms his legs I can do so super happy to have this multi use TQ just in case. Now just have to train with him with it

Have your boy practice with it on you as well. As long as you aim for direct pressure first it doesn't matter how small or strong the rescuer or the victim, you'll still be slowing flow and not causing harm. Thanks for giving the wrap a try!

@@samslishman I have one question is the slishman pressure wrap reusable. I know CATs are “one time use” and just wanted to find out if this is the same

@@chrisbrown4633 great question and worth a new video! I’ll put something together for you.
But in the meantime, on a regulatory level, they’re “single use”. On a reality level, use your judgement. We’ve really killed the wraps in testing and as long as you go with direct pressure first, even with 30+ bullet holes they’ll still slow flow.
Of course if you use one for bleeding control then don’t apply it to some other patient. But the majority of wraps never see blood. They get used more for sprains, strains, bumps bruises and water balloon sling shots.;)
