😅 Documents file.. My games folder, then XDefiant's folder.. Find ShaderByteCode then click the folder.
Delete the DX11 or DX12 files in this folder as follows.
Compute
Pixel
Vertex
Delete the files from each.
Next delete all shader files found in the Xdefiant document file.
You will find multiple folders with cache files.
Do this after you've selected the settings you want in game.
Close down game and do as stated above.
One more thing... older systems will prefer DX11. newer systems DX12.

I would not download or install those .reg files, it alters your Windows Registery, very VERY easy to make those files hostile for you!
They might be safe, but they also might not be safe.
Installing this can corrupt your PC and make it unstable, corrupt your files or even kill your Windows

That's why you create a restore point to be safe, although they are not unsafe, some settings might end up overloading your CPU and thus crashing.
