- New methods to Fix Stuttering, High CPU Usage or GPU Usage suddenly drops to 0 and how to Boost FPS!
Just follow all the methods in this video and you will get better performance! no stuttering anymore or less stuttering! no high CPU usage anymore!! FPS increased!! More stable gameplay!!
Important:
This methods may not work on some online games with anti cheat system (it will blocked the access for the last step)
if you get "access denied" on BES. it mean your game blocked the access (can't do anything about it for now)
if you couldn't find your game on the last step. Just try to run BES with administrator and click on list all (it should work now)
-the last step is kinda dangerous for your online game account. For some reasons it detected as a cheat app idk why.
no need to buy pro version of Bitsum App.. Just skip the Bitsum dynamic boost part
Preparation!!
1. You have to download two apps! the apps and how to download. is already in this video!!
Note: we need to buy the full version of ParkControl app for now if we want to use Bitsum dynamic boost! But don't worry. Just skip the Bitsum part if you don't want to buy! It still worked somehow
2. You have to Charge your Laptop while playing the game!
3. You must have at least Nvidia or AMD Radeon GPU! for Integrated GPU like intel HD or Radeon Vega series, this tips may not working properly! But you can still try it

I have been going crazy for days.... I was stuttering in every game with a freaking RTX 2060 and i7... I tried everything! To be fair I was an idiot not trying to figure out why my stuttering was happening. A friend of mine suggested to enable graphs on my after burner to see which graphs shows sudden dips when the stuttering occurs. It turned out it was the GPU usage and hence I was directed to this video.
The settings worked like a charm! I was ready to throw away my pc in garbage and pick up candy crush for life! YOU SAVED ME! Thank you! So Much! Earned yourself a Sub as well! But most importantly lots of respect and good vibes! :D

@@flaviohenrique2265 Hey Buddy the changes did work but did not completely fix the issue. I had a lot of back and forth but at the end what worked for me was a complete clean window installation. I did a clean window installation and it fixed my all my stuttering issues.
Well if you often install a cracked game.. Sometimes it may contain malware and that will decrease your laptop performance, so yes you need to clean it!!
@@EntryLevelGaming no actually I didn't install a cracked game. But I also used malware bytes to clean out my windows. I don't what exactly was wrong with it, a lenovo support guy told me to do a clean installation of windows and it did work. : )

@@jose8406 The CPU count which is written in msconfig is only applicable when Windows is booting, Normally your PC uses all core.
This method using BES to reduce CPU usage will work only for stuttering caused by thermal throttling. It won't work if stuttering is caused by any other issue. But it's quite a useful app. For a desktop PC you might try using it to limit CPU usage of other apps running in the background and keep your game not limited.

If the problem was thermal why after this setting temp increase from 72 to 80 if this is laptop okay no problem, but if this is pc, sure it is dangerous

The park control worked perfectly for my 12500h with 3060 where no other tip had. Smooth as silk 60fps where it was in the 20s to 50s before enabling. Thanks so much!
EDIT: Actually just checked CPU temps and they have really ramped up into the 80s and 90s so will need to do some more messing around to make sure I don't wreck the CPU in order to get what my CPU should be able to easily push in elden ring.

@@EntryLevelGaming what I'm trying now is setting the maximum CPU state to 90% with the park control running as before. That has reduced temps to max 91 with 80 average. I'll try 80% next cos still getting 60fps in elden ring even at 90%, which I should cos it's only this game I have an issue running smoothly.
@@EntryLevelGaming Finally settled on 70% max cpu, which allows Elden Ring to run pretty smoothly bar a few large stutters every now and then, which i presume are caused by the cpu limit. But that limit kept temps well under 90 and the game is now far much better to play than before using park control.

@@EntryLevelGaming I think it's cos I'm playing in Thailand with a partner who doesn't want the AC on the whole time and it's a slim factor laptop. I do elevate the bank of the laptop and run the fans at max but I probably need to get a cooling pad. But primarily I think it's an elden ring issue cos no issues with other games.

A little correction, if you use the slide on Nvidia panel you override the settings you configured previously, so you have to move the slide before, and keep the custom selected. Btw I use all you show in the video and more, like intelligent standby list cleaner and other stuff, but never heard of shirase, I'm gonna try it to see if it works 🙂

Thank you a lot! I was getting stutter with R5 3600 and RX 580 and 16 GB ram. A lot of frametime spikes were hapening in games like Cyberpunk, Witcher 3, Borderlands 3. Especially when i entered new areas and moving mouse. Now they are gone! It is super smooth and frametime graph is like flatlined xD.

Okay, so you can try all of this. But see if this works for you, it worked for me big time. All the stuttering issues that I had were all gone after this.
Go to settings and then search background apps and turn off all the background apps.
This will help with the frequent disk usage spikes with a hdd.

VR - I play Cyberpunk 2077 Phantom Liberty in VR, using a 3080 and a Quest 3. With the in game resolution set to about 3043 x 3043 (or thereabouts) I was getting about 72fps, but severe frame drops in certain areas. I followed this guide to the letter, and it has almost eliminated the frame drops. If you have a similar set up - DISABLE = ASW in the Oculus Debug Tool (impprtant). Very happy, thank you to the video creator. BTW you have to pay for ParkControl if you want Dynamic Boost, which I did, $14 for a life-time license. It was worth it.

SOLUTION HERE :Guys the problem is with nvidia OVERLAY, whenever external overlay encounters the fps drops to half, though it is complete observational but worked for me, and will probably for you
Issue is with rtx 3050+ series
My changes:
1.Turned off windows gamemode
2.Turned off Nvidia game overlay
3.Then restart PC
4.I recommend turn off all overlays like discord, amd, nvidia
You can keep steam overlay on , on steam games, steam should not be external overlay,
Gamebar is OS centric so can be on,
These all are tested on rtx 3050, R7 4800h,. CSGO ,Gta 5

Do with your Own risk.. Make sure you make a system restore before doing it..
Press win+R and type msconfig.. Go to advanced boot option and check box the max cpu and max ram (use your max cpu and max ram) then apply and restart.. This will increase your hardware reserved a little bit.. Doing this trick help my windows boot faster and game loading become faster (no guarantee will work for all devices)
I never trust someone with issues on hardware older than time. I have new and good hardware that is performing bad, not bad hardware performing bad thats to be expected.

I have like a 9 year old laptop and it's kinda hard to do anything on it really but this really helped. Thank you
I did every thing & used every app until I figured out the problem at least for me. I found the problem & it can be fixed without apps or messing with OS settings
If the PC doesn't have a faulty hardware then the stuttering caused by the CPU overheating. I thought the 100% CPU usage is the problem but it's not! being 100% is really normal. So go & enhance the CPU cooling system or moderate the CPU turbo! Yes the CPU turbo is the problem & it's really sad that Microsoft or Intel didn't provide setting for that to limit the turbo ratio in case it's making CPU overheating for those playing on laptops, compact pre built PCs or a PC with limited budget cooling system!
Easy steps I hope it fixes your stuttering problem by benefiting from the CPU turbo without hitting the maximum tempreture or disabling the CPU turbo(stepping frequancy):
1- This step is optional but it's good for minimizing the CPU latency. go boot to the PC BIOS then advanced setting & make C Status disabled. then save changes & exit.
2- Boot to Windows & go to the graphic card control panel reset it to default then set the global setting to high performance. no need to costumize performance for games or apps
3- Go to "Power Plan" then choose the factory "Balanced" plan & reset it to default. keep the plan on "Balanced" & don't change any thing except you can change when the screen or compuetr to sleep or turn off.
4- this one is wierd! to make use of the "Balanced" plan go to Desktop then the task bar & click on the Power/Battery icon. then put the slider of the power mode to the center "Better Performance"

Good tips but my cpu is not even have turbo boost bro!!
The problem is
-1 when the cpu hit 100% load.. The gpu is just don't want to render the games because the gpu sees the cpu are too busy (that's why your gpu usage suddenly dropped to 50 or 0%/idle)
-2 overheating sure will decrease the performance but my cpu temperature is always around 65-70 when i play the game and it's already stutters.. So the temperature is not really the cause of it. I already tried to lower my cpu clock core I've tried to use only 90% of my cpu clock speed (90%=2.0Ghz.. The normal speed is at 2.3Ghz) and the temperature is stable at 68°c.. When i play a game with this cpu speed there are two different things.. First if the game only uses 75-90% of cpu load (the speed is still at 2.0Ghz) the game will run smooth because my gpu load will still at 98-100%
But if the game run at 100% of cpu load.. Even with the same clock speed and low temperature.. My gpu load dropped from 100 to 50 and even to 0%..thats why the game stutters..
So this problem can be solved with limiting the cpu usage! But the next problem is we can't limit the process of all games.. some games can't be limited (mostly the game that using Easy anti cheat like fortnite)

I'm playing Lost ark. I am now getting up to 100fps in game where before i was averaging 50 - 60 fps but I am still getting frame jump where it goes from 100fps down to 65fps than back up. Any ideas please?

Well some games can't be limited by bes.. Some people also said that this tips doesn't work on warzone... Maybe try to set the process priority to Low on task manager

Correct me if I'm wrong but messing with maximum memory can f*ck up ur PC.
Well i never get any problem with it.. But if you make the max ram less then 4gb.. that's a problem.. Your windows may not booting or got bluescreen. But you can fix it.. You can re install the windows or go to safe mode and change back the max memory

i really only start to invest in these parts because i picked up a NVMe last year on GEN 4 speeds and i didn't realize my CPU was only capable of GEN 3 speeds! this is what gave me a drive to upgrade my PC...
i would say do not invest in a 5950x i need to run this on power saving mode and under clock the CPU with rygen master! i would actually prefer my old 2700x if it was capable of the GEN 4 speeds but i sadly needed to upgrade to a more power hungry CPU

This is life savior. Thanks a lot. I was very much tensed that what I will do with my laptop which cannot run game easily...but with nvidea settings and processor settings things are perfect now. I did not apply the last one because i dont have CPU issue. Only issue was nvidea was not running above 60%. Now it is fixed. Thanks again.

Try to use compatibility settings with the game launcher and use windows 8 to run it.. Also check out my registry optimization, it may help

Wow nvidia setting really helped me with steam games such as PUBG and Dota 2, where I had problem with cpu usage (100% most of the time which also caused packet loss). I went through so many guides and none of them helped. You are the best!!! Now I get normal 60-70% cpu usage. I already was thinking of upgrading my pc because of that problem. Thank you so much man!

gtx 1080 + i5 7600k = 11%-20% gpu usage and 100% cpu usage , nothing is working i have low fps , 12gb ram (8gb +4gb ) , i tried nvidia settings etc etc.
My recommendation is you change the ram to 8 + 8 gb.. It may help a bit.. Also try checking your gpu driver. Try updating or go to the service center to make sure your hardware is fine

Changing from borderless to fullscreen (for CPU bottleneck) helped me a lot.

To fix this all you need to do is(only for nvidia users) disable the NVIDIA HDMI audio driver.

@@QifiShiina it maybe because of two things.. First maybe because of the game itself not well optimized from their developers.. Or second. Your cpu turbo boost suddenly inactive. I've seen some videos about this. And they said try to turn the turbo boost off or make it stay active

I had this problem when i got my xbox series x and started playing skyrim on my sony bravia x85k TV. I went into manage game and enabled variable refresh rate. I haven't had any stutter since. Hopefully this comment helps someone else.
