- This is really a nice little system I found and also a small article I found talking a little about this system.

A slot 1, Pentium III with rambus?
Wow!
I was really surprised by this setup. I never knew it existed. I tried to find more but haven't yet. Thank you
That PIII i820 was a luxury, they even released a SD-ram variant board.
Great specs overall, inside a pretty HP case.
Hmm, I will keep my eyes open for one. Thank you.
yeah that is a nice system. im thinking recently of trying to upgrade a compaq presario 5000 from a celeron 533 to a P3 1Ghz.
With your system to Id switch the live for an audigy 2 (after adding these in my systems i like better than the live) and maybe a different gpu. Maybe geforce 3?
That would a good system if you did. I am definitely going to change out both of the cards later for sure. That live card is definitely a draw back. Thank you
@@OCROldComputerRebuilds the problem though is the graphic options. The default is the built in intel 810 and it only has PCI slots. So i have 2 pci cards, voodoo 3 and sis 305. I want the voodoo in my socket 7. So that leaves the sis 305. I may try to upgrade it, but ive had compatibility issues with the PCI before.
nice machine, I tried to power up my weird compaq 478 boards that use SDRAM today, they are dead! =-(
That sucks
@@OCROldComputerRebuilds yup, i couldn't boot the athlon board with 1800+ properly either because it was 20pin only and needs 50A 5v psu, so i just got another one for 6 euro, this board has extra cpu connector and now I can boot up, and he didn't specify the cpu and heatsink it came with but i have an athlon XP 3000+ now.
plenty fast.lol
