Along Closed Lines - 44s to Baal Bone & Bathurst - now in High Definition and Widescreen

On the 14th December 1996 the RTM ran an end of year Christmas Mystery Tour featuring 4401 and 4490. This video includes scenes from the Penrith to Baal Bone and then to Bathurst legs of the trip.
Videos in the Along Closed Lines series were originally shot in 4 x 3 Standard Definition and have been upscaled to High Definition and reformatted to widescreen. They cover movements that can now no longer take place.

I note that on hill the junk diesels stalling, surely C3801 coiuld have been coupled up at the train's rear to make up helping those diesel junk heaps by using the utterly spupendous of it's steam that we all know it generates time to scrap them
