Man every guide i find is just so confusing and frustrating to listen to, but then i finally found an oasis. not disrespect to the others compiling a presentation properly isnt without difficulties, but its just fact yours is superior for gaining knowledge for my time. Subscribed.
My method for the basket ball mini game in the casino works well. No cheating involved. If your interested this is my method. Look at the arm of the animated character in the bottom right corner. When you hold down the button to shoot the character dips. When the yellow border reaches near the top part of its sleeve release the shot. Once you find the sweet spot it makes this mini game really easy. Hope this helps. Don't forget to keep an eye on your stamina. Easy way to die from exhaustion.
Good video as always. I've come to realize that government taxes in this game are actually quite minimal, and that the REAL tax is making sure you always have Ether Antibodies on hand, whether that's through paying at the casino, workshop, or ecopo merchant. Some of those Ether Disease symptoms are too awful to just leave alone.
Talking about mutations, you can get a "body mutation" whether good or bad, by drinking from wells in different cities. I usually just save and load until I get the body mutation I want or get the potential stats I'm trying to level up.
I have the single feather disease and green blood +8 regen, shining eyes + 5 perceptionx and beautiful voice +5 charisma. If you have the means to get mutated properly it unlocks a lot of free power. :)
Hiii would you like to make a starters guide on how to get a good start for the first few days/weeks to understand the basic of the game to help new players with survivability. And what to sell, how to get sustain yourself with food, what companions to hire or not, what to focus on first, handy settings to turn on or off, Does and don’ts. I’m new to this game and feel like i’m missing some more guidance within the game.
Hi there! Thank you for suggesting this. Initially, I was considering making only 'specialised' guides but there definitely seems to be a need for a very general starter guide. It's one of these games with a steep initial learning curve but once you are past it, it's so much fun! I will look into it
ether antibody was millions of times easier to get in elona, where you simply need to win blackjack 5 times in a row... but ether disease was also a much larger problem, because of etherwind, which was a special weather condition occurring twice a year, that would rapidly increase ether disease if you're outside when it's happening, and if you're near a town, you'd have to go to their special time accelerating shelter to sit around for several days in elona, and in elin, there is a special type of cloak called a vindale cloak, and all materials of vindale cloak will reduce ether disease progress, making it accumulate extremely slowly; it is one of the recommended wish items... if you ever made a video about wishing, you should mention vindale cloaks or other stuff like speed rings and seven league boots if you want to pay additional taxes, you don't need a maid to do it, though it is way more convenient; you can also just ask the closest secretary in any town
Black Jack is still pretty good you just have to get the thousand chips to start betting then do the save and quit method You can also buy the chips but that costs about 60K for an ether cure
Thank you @makeeye2867 ! As always, a fantastic piece of advice. I'm really thankful for you sharing all the extra info! Especially about the previous games. Etherwind sounds very much like emissions in stalker games (and I absolutely loved this mechanic/ atmosphere). I definitely wouldn't mind seeing it in Elin but I guess there might be some lore reasons against it. Also, a video about wishing is an excellent video suggestion. Thank you!
@@Rainner_Von_Kessel etherwind is absolutely like a blowout, especially contextually, except without the storms, it's more like a horrible, visible blue wind that rapidly mutates everything it touches, which encompasses, basically, the entire world, but mostly north tyris during etherwind, extremely strong enemies can also be seen on the overworld during ambushes, and ambushes happen more often as for etherwind's story and writing relevance, we will absolutely see etherwind become active during Elin's storyline, i guarantee it it is a history i'm aware of, but i won't put spoilers in a youtube comment unless i'm asked for it, haha
Yeah but this cloak is actually almost useless for now. There are much more valuable items that you can get like a generator, or the anitibody itself. Like, it sounds nice to have that cloak, but in fact you want to fill all your slots with stuff that directly enhances your combat skills. So if your vindale cloak has good stats, then of course it will work fine. But if it doesn't, then you're just losing some of your combat potential. My idea is that for now it might make sense if you use items made of ether that directly accelerate the progression of the disease. And with vindale, you can balance out that negative effect a little bit. Then it makes sense.
Mostly it follows domain is the spells that appear in dream Walker feat and most merchants Then random books can spawn with mages with enough inventory Buffs aren’t part of a normal domain so you’ll have to usually buy them Spell gain is effected by memorization skill that increases spell uses per book(dream Walker is free but doesn’t gain skill bonuses) you’ve read and literacy the ability to read the book at all Then you have to learn casting after that you should get a pretty reliable amount of spells that can scale infinitely Fire, ice and acid can burn random peoples inventory if you deal damage without control magic or magic manners But since enemies have annoying items the ability to obliterate their weapons and equipment can be very useful
@joelmitchell7597 Thank you! I'm super glad to see you here with us! Hope you are enjoying the game :) I'm still trying to understand every nuance of magic system but it might be a great idea to make a video providing some general information. I see that, @tylerulfmann4586 already did an excellent job explaining all the fundamentals of the mechanic. Thank you Tyler!
Once again amazing video, can you make a guide on mid game? I am defenetky there exp wise (800 days) but have still no idea how to build generators and the such, can't find microchips for stuff and all the rest
As far as I know you don't have to feed your own residents. You can do so and they will receive various benefits from it but it is not necessary. don't worry because even if your residents die, they will respawn after some time. Hope it helps!
@@Rainner_Von_Kessel Although I have another one. Does the starving status reduce the stats of your followers? So perhaps you should feed them before battle?
@@h3ckNo I might need to do some tests on this. I don't think not feeding your residents will affect their stats negatively in a long run. However, starving status may affect thier stats in the same way as it affects player character. In other words, you might be right to feed them before a fight!
Assuming you know but it wasn't mentioned here. No idea how impactful it is but it looks like you can also mix genes together in the grinder or whatever. I'm not anywhere near being ready to play around with them so I haven't really tested anything.
the potion cures 2 ether diseases at once, 3 if blessed, and cures them starting from the latest you got, so it just depends if you rolled ones that work for you and if you wanna keep one or not
@jhonangarthor how many ether diseases can i get, and can i die from it? I got the heavy shell one and i want to keep it though so im reluctant to use the potion still.
@@MoistPapaBear judging by the wiki there's 16 different ether disease symptoms (and some of them have multiple levels like one wing turning into a pair or 3 eyes going to 4) and apparently if you have 3 or more you can get a symptom that turns everyone hostile to you, which seems like the main punishment, but you can't die from just ether disease progression
I can't get the Strange little girl to sell syringes, she also only sells 4 items exactly whenever I try. Is there some interaction with charisma or the merchants guild that allows them to sell more?
To the best of my knowlednge, you need to rescue at least one little girl (by defeating big daddy and bringing a girl back to the garden). After this you may need to wait for about a month for the shop to refresh. Hope it helps!
I haven't looked into this too much but I was somewhat unsuccessful so far. Usually it just provides me with 'boring' genes. With a material hammer you probably can change them back to sth useful(jelly for normal and gold for superior/evolved). I will try to look into this.
do i have to feed my residents? what happens if i forgot to put some food in share box? or if i'm out of town for too long and box gets empty? will residents starve and die?
As far as I know you don't have to feed your own residents. You can do so and they will receive various benefits from it but it is not necessary. don't worry because even if your residents die, they will respawn after some time. Hope it helps!
haha I'd probably call it Papa Nurgle build :) It's actually my little nurgling spawning tentacles (symbiosis used on a little fairy who wields a lasgun/ railgun), the idea is the I'm as tanky as possible and she is the dps.
Hey @pockets8548 ! As always, super glad to see you here :) Once you hit level 2 of the hearth stone you get an ability to relocate both furniture and NPCs using the bulletin board
I'm currently mutated beyond human recognition via drinking contaminated water from wells all over the continent, but still haven't got a single ether disease after curing the first one 🥲 Also thank you for your hard work, for a game this complex your channel is a blessing
generally you only get ether disease once a year, even less if you use the hot spring in olivina to slow it, Unless you get hit by ether attacks, i specifically do my best not to mess with will o' wisps for that reason, they accelerate your ether disease with every attack
It can take up to a year on average though I’ve had it take a year and half sometimes Ether disease is a slow build up slower on the eldea elves Also also recommend considering making a chaos shape for that purpose
@naganwhat8364 Thank you! Your words are very encouraging :) it's a lot of fun to explore systems in game like this even if it means mutating beyond human recognition :))

I take talesinger with me everywhere as a companion and I use her to heal me when I'm at negative stamina.

Having my homie become four Arms from Ben 10 and wrestling the enemies like nothing is funny.

Thank you! Appreacite it! I've been doing some tests on genes lately so I might do a dedicated video on this topic in the future.
There is a Mod on steam to allow PC to use gene's (not sure if it works) and another mod that will allow combining of gene's at a mass amount of time.
Thank you for letting me know. Still playing without mods for the sake of guides but it's becoming more and more tempting.
I was a fairy musician and I got a third eye, Thank you magic man for all the work you do!
