Could a bad evap purge valve also throw a P0442 code? I have a 2012 Camaro LS and shortly thereafter my engine starts shuddering at idle and I get the dreaded "Service Stabilitrak - Engine Power is Reduced!" DIC message and a new code P0191 - "Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor 'A' Circuit Range/Performance.”

Awesome 👌 you need to clear the trouble code with an OBD2 Scanner now or just keep driving it till it completes its drive cycle and it detects its been fix. Great video. How much would be to take it to a shop and have this replaced?. I checked with Firestone and they game a quote of $620. Part and 4 hours of labor.

@@omaravelar6174 you can disconnect the battery for like 5min to make sure all the electrical is drained. Then turn on the headlights to drain the system. After the 5 min turn them off connect the battery back and it should be gone.....or just driving it will go away to. It just has to complete the drive cycle to detect that the system is good now. I’m guessing it’s normal for the check engine light to stay on for a little while? I manually cleared the codes (initially it gave me 3, all of them P0496) and now it’s only 1. It says permanent and I looked it up and I guess it says permanent means it stays until you can prove to the computer that it isn’t a recurring problem so I just gotta drive until it goes away? You can either purchase a obd2 scanner to delete the faults or you can try disconnecting the negative cable, turn the lights on to drain any electricity from the system, wait 30, connect it back and try again
Yes a permanent and a stored cannot be deleted, If the problem fixed it needs to be driven and they will go away on their own if a pending doesn't come back
Hey im having an issue of it hissing in the back of the intake manifold and no one can seem to help me figure out what it is. The car is throwing a code saying fuel system is running to rich, and it seems like a vacuum leak. Can you help me?

@@great4ever845 9 out of 10 it's this sensor once you replace it clear the check engine and drive it. Hopefully it doesn't come back

I suggest using a smoke machine to be able to find the leak. On a vacuum leak sometimes its the only solution honestly. The smoke machine hella helps.
