idol is cool bc it mixes traditional and modern beats, melodies, and dances from both south africa and south korea. it's like this giant mashup of everything that they've been mocked for all while the lyrics are saying they are who they are and they love themselves regardless of what people say. the music video is an explosion of color and cgi as a clapback against ppl who say that kpop is "too much" so i think the nonstop nature of the choreo is a way to reflect that on stage - kinda like "we're too much? ok so what? let's actually show you what too much looks like." also i think a unique aspect of kpop choreos in general is that they are designed with music videos, performance videos, and many live shows in mind, so the choreo is created to give each artist many opportunities for individual camera shots while maintaining the overall image/balance of the dance. they're not really meant to be viewed straight-on even at a concert or award show - dance practices are more like an extra gift to fans in a way. a couple of the parts where you said you didn't know where to look was when the camera would be focused in on one member's face or on two to three of their bodies dancing that part. for this song they often wear traditional clothing so the swirling robes become the focus when they do the spinning jump in a circle (another traditional korean dance). watching these practices is great for catching the overall image or zeroing in on one member's movements at a time. but they do take away from the intended purpose of the performances. i totally get how watching idol only as a dance practice would be both overwhelming and underwhelming in different ways - if you feel so inclined, i hope you watch a live performance w them wearing hanbok as it may appeal the choreo to you more! JHope is main dancer and does huge part their choreo. He had on brown shirt & white joggers. He was top SK street dancer before joining BTS. Jimin (jeans) main dancer and was a top SK contemporary dancer before joining.

This is the first time a dance pro reactor not liking the Idol choreo and calling them lethargic. I don't know if you're really a pro dancer but you didn't really put an analysis of the choreo. You're just babbling nonsense comments. OG Kpop Stan is really good in analyzing choreographies/movements and a pro dancer, maybe you should learn from her.
Look BTS pushes themselves to the fullest to be the best and for their fans too. It doesn't matter if they gotta break or not the fact that they hit those moves so hard wouldn't even matter. So it aint fair for you To judge them just because they look a little tired how do you think they've came this far? Not by taking breaks I can tell you that much right now. And I'm not saying they shouldn't take breaks because brakes are good and I'm sure they do take breaks but they work very hard too.
Black Swan (dance practice) + SPRING DAY (Dance practice) And DIONYSUS (2019 MMA Dance Practice)... These 3 are probably the most insane choreo by BTS. Together with MIC DROP, ON and probably Fake Love... As a Bonus u should show her Butter by 3J 😎💜
Aiki, leader of dance group HOOK, participate in Street woman dance competition said he likes RM's dance most and love his cute dance. No wonder she(reactor) also thinks RM is also a dancer. Cuz RM excel in everything
Right? This channel, in general, has weird, frequent appearances of sassiness, attitude and negativity. I was a professionally trained competitive dancer for FIFTEEN years and this girl is straight up pulling negativity out of her ass just because. Maybe she had a bad day or something but the nonsensical negativity does seem to fit the vibe of this channel, if I'm honest.
"They look tired" i mean...bro?? Have you ever danced and sang at the same time? Even if dancing without singing is already very tiring..Their dance is very sharp and tiring From the beginning to the end of the song... Just try it.. You will know how it feels
It’s not a negative thing or judgemental. It’s is tiring, that’s the point. Why are so many of you up in arms over an observation over the difficulty of the choreo which you agree with? My god
@@Koko3op Sorry for the misunderstanding but we're not "getting up in arms" in the way you think. It's just she stated the obvious as, oh the choreo, look at them, they're "lethargic"😒 while it was supposed to be that way. It's a diss to haters. They put their hearts in 100% Plus all they had was dance practice since beginning they would practice hard but get cut from shows. Jimin especially has slept in the practice room. So, yes, their choreos are very tiring but not in the indication of their ability is all we mean to say.
I think a better way of doing these reactions is by showing a dance practice and then a live version of the same performance. There are times when the dance practice video uploaded does not truly reflect the performance because the dance practice video could be a recording from their 25th practice OF THE DAY let alone the entire week when they're practising and rehearsing non-stop. So think a better way of structuring these reactions is by showing the same performance under two different settings, therefore the choreo is a constant but you see a practice version and the finished product.
Jhope and jimin are the main dancers of the group and were the only 2 to have dancing backgrounds before joining bts! Suga did b-boying for a while but still choreo is different from b-boying so he and the other members all learnt from scratch!
Koko3op 👍❗👍 PLEASE READ TILL END 👍❗👍😅😁. I think some of the opinions on this dancer reaction can easily be solved. If you yourself go back and watch the dancer who reacted to NCT U dance practice with Boss, Make a Wish and one other; THEN directly after research this reaction then you will be able to SEE the difference. ☀Now obviously they are different people and will have different reactions. But to understand why this dancer got the reaction she did for some part, you have to see them back to back. ☀This dancer took a more relaxed potion while reacting, not getting technical. That is fine she was having fun.she probably didn't have to make a point of how tired they are . most viewers who will watch this are army and know exactly how hard they work and practice. They have also seen plenty of behind the scenes too. ☀ I think since you stated it was a dancer reacting , army were probably hoping to here more about technique and her critique of the dance style. Just more on line with breaking down the dance itself. But she was just seeing this for the first time and was more just reacting to everything's while trying to be more specific on the dance. Unfortunately it seems she got a little overwhelmed. THAT IS OK!!!! ☀ See if you had her again she would know more of what to expect. Slot of your other reactors ask specific questions trying to get as much info as possible to make their critique more focused. She reacted blind ( just going with it) . probably not what people expected. As a first reaction she did fine! But to keep from snapping out a someone again , I really would watch the two back to back . As that will also give you some info on how TRULY Different two people in the same field can be. It will help you have further understanding of your viewers for this subject. ☀The truth is as long as you do K-Pop reactions............... Your viewers will probably know way more about the groups you show ( specifically) than you do. Especially if the are part of a fandom. The information the groups give their fans is very detailed usually. You it's A good idea to see what they are seeing from the other side of the camera to understand what they are responding too. 👏👏👏☀ Great job on the videos and hopefully you take this as a helping hand, advice, A good idea shared; instead of an insult. Have a great Holiday Season, in your Holidays you celebrate.
Going from the first video, the dance line is Jimin (red hat) Jungkook, white shirt, shorts and Timberlands, J-Hope , black shorts, white jacket over white top. The fourth is V in the red hat. He’s a later addition to the dance line. He proved himself capable so he is now officially in the dance line. He hasn’t got the background in dance which the others have. Jimin has a contemporary dance background. J-Hope has a street dance background. Jungkook had some training in the States and is naturally gifted. J-Hope is their dance captain. After a practice or performance they scrutinise their work and make improvements and adjustments. Watch Jimin, Hobi and JK doing a dance break to the Megan Thee Stallion part in a version of Butter. It took them two days and they went over it time and time again to get the best performance. Yes, they’re exhausted. They’re singing as well as dancing but at a concert they just get up and go onto the next dance. When they get a break off stage they’re given oxygen. They’re are incredible.
jungkook had training when he was a trainee tho? so just like tae, training while he was a trainee. jungkook didnt have any actual background. jimin and hobi did.
@@jm8di58 Yes, you’re right I had forgotten that clip of him popping and locking before debut but it seems like he feels happiest doing contemporary. If you watched the making of the recent 3 Js dance break Jimin said that he found dancing like that difficult; it’s not his kind of dance anymore.

thought i wouldve watched some more videos from this channel initially, but after seeing the bad attitude towards armys who shared their opinions (with no disrespect) and got salty and uncalled for replies from this channel, im just gonna take my views somewhere else where people know how to interact with others. especially if they wish to grow their audience and channel, like this one seems to want.
great reactions from jenna tho.
The channel creators are EXOLs; take from that what you will.
@@TC022782 ya but not all exols are bad i am an exols and an army
JHope is main dancer and does huge part their choreo. He had on brown shirt & white joggers. He was top SK street dancer before joining BTS. Jimin (jeans) main dancer and was a top SK contemporary dancer before joining.
Is it just me or did anyone else realise the guy in the back just randomly singing some verses of Idol.
I was like: me too Bro, me too.😂
Loooooooooooool it comes over me
j-hope nailed these two choreos
It made me happy that she noticed RM's dance skills.
The go so hard on live performances and also idol is one of their hardest choreo.
Yes BTS themselves said that IDOL is soo tiring 😂
Yet army in the comments are taking offense to her feeling compassion for them LOOOOOL and some are also unaware that dance practices are filmed during a long day of rehearsals so they could also be tired in the practice. I'm so glad you have sense and didn't take it offensively
@@Koko3op definitely understand. I'm sure they dance this 10X on repeat until they get the perfect take. Ohh im sorry for her, it's just some people in every fandom are just like that.
@@Koko3op i've read about 3 butthurt armys in this comment section. it seems silly to focus on the sensitive instead of the other 50+ positive comments here
@@nickismith8611 That's because I've deleted some that were beyond rude and I would not repeat.
@@faith6833 If that's what she saw, it's what she saw as a dancer. Doesn't mean they're not talented, just means they might have been filming all day and the taxing choreo took it's toll. Not everything is an insult my god.
I've never heard a opinion like this before 🤔 even though they are dancing, they are actually performers. Most dancers just dance but BTS performs while dancing with stamina. I get what she means but Kpop is different.
They sing too
I can't wait to see her watching some HOPE ON STREET .. that is gotta be interesting
@@faith6833 how would anyone describe hoseok as "letharic" ..? even if ur dump there is nothing letheric about him ! did I understand u well or am I misunderstanding what u mean ..? cous she can't be blind to say such a thing
I never tire of watching dance practices
she picked RM twice ... I'm so proud of him.
RIGHT?! I loved that for him, too!💜
This is the first time a dance pro reactor not liking the Idol choreo and calling them lethargic. I don't know if you're really a pro dancer but you didn't really put an analysis of the choreo. You're just babbling nonsense comments. OG Kpop Stan is really good in analyzing choreographies/movements and a pro dancer, maybe you should learn from her.
Dude at the back 😂 running man running man birraht
“It’s giving me squid games” 😑
RM definitely has the groove 💜
Look BTS pushes themselves to the fullest to be the best and for their fans too. It doesn't matter if they gotta break or not the fact that they hit those moves so hard wouldn't even matter. So it aint fair for you To judge them just because they look a little tired how do you think they've came this far? Not by taking breaks I can tell you that much right now. And I'm not saying they shouldn't take breaks because brakes are good and I'm sure they do take breaks but they work very hard too.
Can't stop watching Jimin. His moves and elegance is something else.💜
@jasper mendez yes, really dope choreo 🔥🔥
Aiki, leader of dance group HOOK, participate in Street woman dance competition said he likes RM's dance most and love his cute dance. No wonder she(reactor) also thinks RM is also a dancer. Cuz RM excel in everything
They are amazingly talented. BTS forever💜💜💜
"The two with the red hats are like dancers right?" 😆
I think maybe she would like to see it live? cuz the energy is just different and they give their all?
She should watch the On Kinetic mv (big fancy dance video) spring day dance practice, and blood sweat and tears dance practice
they r ALL DANCERS !!!
first person i heard not liking idol...of all the "dancers" reaction I've ever watch...hmmm
AND THEY SING/RAP WHILE THEYRE DANCING I BE SHOOOK
Lethargic?? LOL
As a dancer myself I'm pretty put off by her opinions. Negative Nancy. Hope everything's okay with her lol
PARK JIMIN BEST DANCER OF THE INDUSTRY 💗
Also idol choreography being a lot is the whole point
I love how she immediately noticed Jimin within the first few moves on both videos 😊 he's so talented 💜
I'd like to see a Dual Reaction, as some other Reaction Channels do: both Full Production and Rehearsals.
Jhope and jimin are the main dancers of the group and were the only 2 to have dancing backgrounds before joining bts! Suga did b-boying for a while but still choreo is different from b-boying so he and the other members all learnt from scratch!
One of my fave, Idol💜
She picked 💜 V 💜as one of the best dancers quickly 🤔 and I’m so happy because I don’t think he gets enough credit for how great he is👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Blood Sweat & Tears dance practice, please. And Black Swan (in black studio). And then contrast that with Danger. :)
Have a great Holiday Season, in your Holidays you celebrate.
the thing about v is ppl can do the same step he does but he would just mesmerize u its not like he is best but a very charming one
Actually Jimin doesn't have just a contemporary background, he did hip hop and popping too
@@jm8di58 Yes, you’re right I had forgotten that clip of him popping and locking before debut but it seems like he feels happiest doing contemporary. If you watched the making of the recent 3 Js dance break Jimin said that he found dancing like that difficult; it’s not his kind of dance anymore.
@@pyejammiesfanfic640 yes I know. I just corrected the comment, that he doesn't has just contemporary background, but more styles.
@@mann7298 As far as I know JK went to the States for additional training while V, Jin, RM and SUGA only had dance training as part of their basic training in house at Big Hit. I’ve seen it said that SUGA did some Bboying while an underground rapper but couldn’t do it after his shoulder injury.
if they said burn the stage they really meant it XD
RM: "my music ain't for everybody, specially not for u ..."
you must react to 'I Need U' and 'Danger' dance practice. these two are their best and hardest dance choreography.
춤의 진실을 알아버렸다!!!! ㅎㅎㅎ진아 쬐끔만 더 분발하길 ㅋㅋ
..also Fake Love, Blood Sweat & Tears, Run, Save Me, I’m Fine, Mic Drop and more pls 😅
She can’t see Hobi dancing his hind pots off during the Fire choreo?🤦🏾♀️🤷🏾♀️
Let her review Mic Drop. Practice and Live.
Next, Blood Sweet and Tears dance practice
can you show her Black swan dance practice, ON dance practice and MMA 2019 Dionysus dance practice (together with all solos)? that'd be awesome
Danger and blood sweat and tears
Jhopeee!!!
RM IS A GOOD DANCER TBH
they all are tho
BTS worked hard practiced 16 hrs.until they perfect the steps choreography...lately jimin and j hope we're best dancers in the world.
Please intoduce her to jimin and the intriquite parts of his dancing and the dance practice of ON and blackswan i think really showcases their different abililities because there are a few breaks. The live performance of fake love is a good one as well live and dance practice.
Yes. Jimin is an exceptional dancer.
Ok, I'm very happy that Jenna called on RM as someone who stood out to her, but a little sad on your emphasis that he wasn't a strong dancer. I'm sure you didn't have any ill intentions, and we're just comparing skill set to skill set, but did you have to say that much? That shit hurted.
Shout out to BTS's left wing RM!
It’s “that shit hurt.” Hurted isn’t correct. Sorry for being a grammar nazi, but this a word that gets misused a lot, especially in fan fictions. It’s a pet peeve of mine and annoys the shit out of me.
@@lynn7392 I'm perfectly aware of how to say it and how it's spelled. It was done like this in a joking way. Thanks for ruining my joy and reminding me why I don't like other people. You hurted my soul dude.
@@jessicapierce3027 I’m glad it was in a joking way and you do know the correct spelling. And my soul feels awesome dude. Hope yours gets better.
@@lynn7392 Cause it's all about you right? Happy holidays, or whatever.
@@jessicapierce3027 Not always, just depends on the day really. It’s a Saturday so I can’t really complain. Happy Holidays! Let the holidays fill your soul.
A lot of the people i know don't also notice hobi that much and it's sad.
Yeah it disappoints me at times too but I think it's because as his role as choreo leader he kinda takes the back seat and I don't think it's a secret that for so long BigHit really didn't place him in the centre often which is a shame but I usually get super happy when people spot him like here in Idol.
Hobi is my wrecker and, even then, it wasn't until I saw them live in LA recently that it really struck me just HOW amazing of a dancer he really is
As a dancer, I think they are all great dancers but JHope and Jimin stands out. Jimin body control is really good, but if I had to choose one, I would have to go with JHope as he is a little bit more consistent.
Make her react to Blackswan/On or Dionysus/mic drop dance practice
Have her watch blood sweat & tears and ON next they really dance in those
I feel like no one really pays attention to Jin like he a good dancer too
Names: Namjoon
Jin
Yoongi *Suga*
j-hope
Jimin
taehyung
jungkook.
there! if u were wondering their names.
It's funny that while watching Fire dance practice, she was able to spot Jimin, Jungkook and V but wasn't able to spot J-Hope who is the dance leader and one of the main dancers. 🤭🤭🤭
Haha it happens all the time. I feel like Hobi though impressive blends in somehow and thinks about the full group because so many dancers on my channel have missed him.
Can she please react to Fake Love next!?!LOVE YOU GUYS❤️
Show her the video of jimin and taemin dance duo . Its nice right
she called rm a dancer
Jimin's regarded as the #1 male Kpop dancer in the world.

Someone send this link to RM, stat!
I guess she projected... They did not look that tired, and this was a practice without the high jumps like they do(on the circle formation). Pushing hard for 4 minutes and more is whar it takes... If you want a contract with touring artist, no?
Omg u have to introduce her to ateez
It sounds like it’s out of your league.. overwhalemed by the choreo which is that’s the idea.. but that’s a good thing from your reaction..honest one
