Oh that rocks! I'm taking my "Fourth Flight" this Saturday (tandem, of course!) and watching a bunch of videos in hopes of easing up some of these butterflies that are saying to me once again, "You're gonna do WHAT???" I figured, maybe my anticipation for the adventure will outweigh my apprehension if I watch other people do this and look forward more to doing this. Why am I going back if I'm so mother-flippin' scared? 'Cause I want to keep my courage up, that's why...
skydiving has nothing to do with fear or adrenaline. It's all about the time you leave the plane from the time your shoot opens... You forget about everything else in the world. Nothing matters. The ultimate "Living in the moment" No matter what's going on in your life. You forget it for atleast 45 seconds. Feels like a drug but it's good for your soul. :) SMILE
existen, hay uno en alcantarilla (murcia) y se está construyendo otro en empuriabrava (catalunya). pero lo suyo es saltar, el tunel es para entrenar la técnica, no para sentir la experiencia de la caida libre.
skydiving is about your surroundings, and the fear u get when ur about to jump out at least for me it is so skydiving is my pick, cant put a price on it
...I figured, as a Theatre major, if I can keep doing these skydives, I can do those gosh darn monologues I hate doing (hate monologues, but give me a script any day). It's kinda a personal growth attempt. And ok, these two Aussie brothers don't exactly hurt the idea (jumped with one of them my First Flight, but they weren't there my Second). I'm jumpin' with my Second Flight instructor 'cause he befriended me after my Second. Guess ya can't have the high without the high w/o the apprehension.
If you think it's just as much as going skydiving, then I wanna know where you skydive, so I can go there too. (400 skydives, 15 hours in tunnels, and I can tell you which cost me more!)
True when you get your license yes. Im still renting gear tho. Bout to buy a used rig from a buddy as soon as our rigger inspects it and i get the money. After that then deffinately cheaper! :D
I think a wind tunnel is harder than skydiving. I get away with hell skydiving. That tunnel has walls. I had to really focus more in a wind tunnel than jumping.

I think the tunnel is alot harder, and more responsive then freefall. I just wish it wasnt like 4-5 hours away i could use the time.

It costs more to jump AND you can learn a lot more about body control in a tunnel because you have fewer things on your mind.

I'd watch yourself mate, I might be only 16, but I'm a black belt, 4th dan in Syu Yu Kai, and Gojo Ryu, second time Junior champ of england.

woot!!
lol, buy the whole system. There are 3 places like this in whole Europe I know of :D
Nothing compared to skydiving
I would not go as far as saying realistic... jumping is way better... and wind tunnels coast alot of money to play in.
I think you'll find one was a girl.
...
eh... the real thing is way more fun and cheaper.
Okay then, "LOL! hahahaha!" whatever, all i'm trying to say is that you're blaitently obviously not a teacher of martial arts.
