It’s really nice to hear I’m not alone in this. It really Bothers me if I see stuff like that on my products or being shared by a brand in the media. I haven’t been purchasing from many makeup brands for a plethora of reasons. Had they Not gone out of their way (unnecessarily) to advocate for something evil and anti- God then I would’ve never known and continued to be a blissfully ignorant customer of theirs. They wouldn’t lose customers by just not stating their opinions- but again and again we see brands and celebrities choose to speak against good morals and values and God. I used to think Taylor Swift was wholesome. Haven’t listened to her recent album and don’t plan to now. Seeing her seated next to the singer who was holding up devil worshiping hand signs told me all I needed to know. She didn’t react to it at all how I would’ve expected. How one would expect a person to react if they were surprised at what their friend was doing or even a slight embarrassment or hint of surprise or disapproval in her eyes. Nothing. She didn’t appear to be phased by it at all.

Yes this is exactly it! Christians are told to stay silent while spiritual symbolism is all over the place pushed into everything we use, see, and hear! I did not know about the situation with Ice Spice (I didn’t know who that was until I just searched lol) but yikes, that is awful!

@@ItsJanelleNicole Yes! Ice Spice was the one, I’d forgotten her name. My teen tells me she is pretty popular, must be if she’s hanging with Taylor Swift. It’s crazy how much transparently-demonic stuff is so easily & widely accepted and glorified instead of repulsing the majority of people. Glad to know I’m not alone in seeing this so plainly! Thanks for being brave enough to say it on TH-cam!

As of now I don’t have much of a strong opinion on it as a whole. There is a lot of darkness in music, as mentioned in this video, but there’s tons of non-Christian songs that do not have evil references. I would say pray that God gives you the discernment and awareness to show you when something is not right in music!
