- Firefighters are responding to a fire near the freeway in Oakland at I-580 and Keller Avenue. At least seven homes have been damaged.

Yes, the fire on her block stopped IN my sister's bedroom in 1991. The rest of the house was downslope & survived with only smoke & water damage!! In fact, it broke out on her birthday!!

I had a friend that lived in the Oakland hills when it was burning years ago, He had a Heliport built & learned how to fly out of there the next time it happens.
