Absolutely wonderful! I’m loving your channel,😊❤
@sharonspencer6486 thank you 💕 welcome to my channel x
Very cute
Rachel you did a wonderful job making Hannah. She reminds me of my favourite Beatrix Potter character Mrs. Tiggywinkle. Enjoy your time at the festival of quilts and spoil yourself ❤
You are delight and honest, you are never afraid of trying a new sewing project. You are an inspiration to all.🤗🇨🇦
I really loved this! so cute, your doll came out so pretty.
Omg. I cracked up
Laughing when you said, “she looks like a rodent”
Hannah. Invest in a pair of haemostats you will be so happy with them. They are great for turning small items inside out and are a great help to stuff toys etc. lovely job of the hedgehog anyway x
She turned out beautifully. Can't wait for more
Well done! And now I want to buy seventeen of their kits. 😀 I’m thoroughly enjoying your videos! 🌸
She is so cute!! You did a really good job!! She has her own little personality!!
Oh Rachel, I've been looking forward to this video since you mentioned making Hannah and it didn't disappoint. She is so adorable, and you did a great job of making her, I love her little face and wonky ears 🙂 I love the way you don't take yourself too seriously! I hope you enjoy your time at the festival of quilts, and will look forward to seeing your purchases soon 🙂
She is Precous! And when you said, "Well that is terrifying!" I laughed out loud 😅 It sounded exactly what I would have said to myself. I just really think she's adorable. Well done you!
Hannah is gorgeous. I have seen these kits and thought they were adorable. I was too scared to buy one as I thought I would muck it up. But you have given me the confidence to try. Thank you
This is the cutest little critter. You did an excellent job on this project. You're an inspiration to anyone watching your videos. I have even started making little houses using paper piecing! I love the colors you choose in your quilting!!!
What a lovely video and sweet make!! Hannah is so full of personality! You did a wonderful job and she was your first hedgehog. Well done. I must say that your "terrifying" remark made me laugh out loud. What a fun time Thank you for taking your time to share Hannah's creation with all of us.
Have fun at the Festival of Quilts. Not only will I pray for your bank balance but mine as well 😂. It's all so tempting. x
She is just gorgeous. I have just paused your video and gone over and ordered Richard the Lion - my brother is called Richard and he’s 60 in October and thought he would love it. Thank you for the inspiration.
That will be an awesome gift! I do love the characters in the 3 piece suits.. might get one of those next!
Hannah is adorable! If her ears & nose were absolutely perfect, she wouldn't be nearly as cute. Our imperfections give us character. ❤.
Oh thank you!
She’s adorable! Great job Rachel, so lovely.
I talk to myself, too, when working on projects. I love the 'that looks 'terrifying' when you were working on the eyes. 😂
Since having a dog I've realised I often whisper to myself when working, because then the dog starts barking, thinking there is someone in the house 🤣🤣
She turned out so cute! I love her small size and the little clothes are adorable. Nice job!
"welllll, that looks terrifying" said every person who's ever tried to put eyes on a doll
She is adorable!! I love watching you work. I would be so happy to have you and your sister be my great-granddaughters. You're wonderful! 😊
Aww thank you so much, that's very sweet of you ❤️
She's darling! 🩷😊 Wonderful job!
She is amazing! She is soooooooo adorable! 💜💜💜💜
Aw she is so adorable. Well done you. Beautiful lady
She is lovely and no one is perfect ❣I love learning new things, i didn't know the trick with the turning, so thank you :) a tip on doing ears...pin them first before sewing, that way they get more even :)
Rachel, that was great!!!! So inspired to try my had at a doll. You did a wonderful job. Excited to see the quilt festival and really happy you are going to show us the competition quilts. Many prayers for you and your bank balance!!! Jean Colorado USA
She is adorable!!! Love watching your videos and learning your hand techniques!
Hannah hedgehog is adorable, thank you for sharing the making process. You have a right to be very proud of yourself for making her. Love your channel and looking forward to your next videos. ❤❤
Hi Rachel, I loved your video making Hanah the Hedgehog from Lilly Rose Dolls - she turned out adorable! I too started with the 8" dolls and then moved onto the 16" that are slightly less fiddly. I'm just about to start making Lillian Lamb who is 22" and by Lilly Rose Dolls too. These characters are certainly addictive and I can tell that you've got the bug too. Your sewing projects are always lovely and I really enjoy watching your videos. Greetings being sent from Southern Spain! 🥰
Thank you Claire, absolutely love the lamb! They are very addictive and have such wonderful detail to them
She is so cute with her own lil personality and ur commentary is quite funny, had my giggling in bed. 😊❤
Oh soooo adorable. And you did an amazing job. I adore your channel and your personality.
You are so kind
Looking lovely Rachel a little tip for making easier straps for the apron have your strip with the end making a w with the fabric pattern facing up then sew across the end right side up and now turn to make end neat it will fold over now and you can sew straight down so you incase the raw ends
What a clever tip.. thank you!
@@stitchwithrachel I hope I explained it well enough try on a scrap I also make a w for both ends so I don't have to have messy ends
She’s absolutely beautiful 😍
Hannah is gorgeous Rachel. You did a great job!❤
She is so cute. Thank you showing us how to make this.
I kept passing over this video because I didn't think dolls "were my thing" but I just loved watching you make Hanah. She's so lovely!! Kudos❤
You are amazing Rachel! It was very brave to make such small clothes and they came out beautifully.
Thank you... my first ever dress!
You are so delightful! If you lived near me I’d have you over for tea and cookies and a good chat…and some hand sewing. Happy day to you!
Now that would be lovely ❤️
Simply gorgeous hedgehog. Of course we want to see your 3 day haul 😂! Hahaha we'll be praying for your bank balance 😂😂
She is absolutely adorable! I really love her.
You did a grand job Rachel, Hannah turned out great. You made me laugh a few times and especially when you first placed the eyes😂 I hope you enjoy The Festival of Quilts. I will be there on Thursday so if I see you I will say hi 💕
I'm glad to have made you laugh. Yes please do come say hi if you see me.. enjoy yourself!
She is beautiful and I love the bonnet sticking out. You did a fantastic job!
Thank you so much 💕
Mmm Rachel, she is so sweet. Yeah, sometimes we can be so critical on ourselves BUT you did a terrific job. I was thinking…you could even enlarge the patterns and make a “family” of Hedge Hogs. This was fun. Thank you for your explanations and instructions. My sister used to make bunny’s with big droopy ears.
What a good idea to enlarge the pattern!!
Such a cute little hedgehog. Pay it forward with Lisa Pay shows similar sort of soft dolls , her videos give really good instructions especially helpful with faces you might like them
I'll check them out, thank you!
She is so sweet. Well done!
Hannah is just precious! 💕
Your stitching behind you is so very pretty.
Ioved the entire project❤
Great job!!
Now I am inspired to make more doll
As for future posts
Any and all of your ideas would be greatly enjoyed.
Happy Sewing
Jan from Jacksonville Florida
So adorable! Awesome job you did bringing her to life! 🥰
Thank you! 😊
Lovely work from you. Hannah turned out soooo cute. The ‘wonky’ ears and ‘twitchy’ nose give her a lot of character. When I make dolls, I often lightly stuff the hats/bonnets even though the pattern doesn’t call for it. I find they flatten and require plumping up each time they are handled.A light stuffing makes a huge difference. With Hannah’s bonnet I would fill it with stuffing but not pack it, just enough to show the bonnets shape. I also always tease my stuffing apart with my fingers, just pull it apart, before use. I do this because it’s so tightly packed in its packaging I find this helps reduce ‘lumps’ and gives a better finish. Just a suggestion that you might like to try. Love your creations.
What a great tip, I will definitely do that 💕
Love Hanna. You did such a nice job. Yeaaaa Rachel
Hannah is adorable! Well done😊
Oh she's soo cute, I love her little face. You did really well especially with the fancy outfit she has! Thank you so much for mentioning my channel! I'm glad you found the tip helpful. ❤ Have fun at the festival, I wish I lived closer would love to go, I would spend loads too 😂 xx

She is so cute. Well done. I would not have the patience to do this.
Oh my goodness, I didn't know about the straw trick. And I've been sewing since a wee little girl and I am 62 now! Thanks!
You did such an amazing job! I love her so much. 🥰🥰
Excellent video! Lovely finish on your hedgehog, Hannah!
I agree about making the faces. It's so difficult to do it nice, but you have done a great job. She is lovely.
You did a wonderful job! This reminds me of my Mum who was a maker of stuffed toys and cloth dolls. She passed many years ago but her creations are still found in little corners of bookcases and such.
Very clever Rachel. Looks amazing

Wow, making a hedgehog doll ! Well done as to me it looked very fiddly. I think she came out really well, wonkiness and all.
So cute, well done you did a fantastic job
Awww how precious!
You did a beautiful job Rachel. It is really helpful to see any little problems that you come across in the making of the doll, and reassuring to the rest of us😃. Looking forward to see what you find at the festival of quilts. X

Welcome to the channel, I am glad you are enjoying my videos. The festival of quilts is certainly worth a visit, its not just quilting fabric, some sell dressmakign supplies, cross stitch and embroidery, toy making.. there is a good variety but of course with the main focus on quilting.
So cute. You did a such a great job, Rachel. I don't recall seeing the doll you made for your mom; not sure how I missed it. Planning to use your affiliate link this week & hope it puts some $ in your pocket for Festival of Quilts!

A fantastic job Rachel - well done! Tiny things are much more tricky than full size things to do, especially on the machine. 😺
Super cute your such an inspiration ❤
Adorable. ❤️🌺
That is adorable

Wow so very cute, your work is amazing. Thank you..❤
Thank you! 😊
She looks amazing. You maybe able to put a little stuffing into the cap to give it shape. And thank you for the tip on doing the straps.

Precious!
👋 hi Rachel 👏👏👏👏💐🦋😊
Wow, so cute😊 you did such a good job. I’m too scared to try.
j'adore 😍 tellement mignon 🥰❤
lovely
it's cute but I would take a small strip of the leftover fur and hand stitch it from that hair line to a bit further, even at the top of the head, so her fur was more visable.
