This was fantastic, I had a lot of luck with SwordSoul pulls while pulling for DPE and Despia so I figured I'd make a deck even tho I'm not a huge fan of the archetype. It's probably better to replace the pot of desire with more tenyi copies since they do a great job of starting the setup for board and extending the combo.
I do largely agree but I also think desires is just so strong for its ability to dig for a starter if you brick, or still be active for digging for handtraps especially like maxx c even after you’ve full combod, although you’re right the tenyis are mad cracked
Yes, the tokes do count as a summon so you are right, it's his 6th summon I know because I have done that combo and the opponent has activated Nibiru before I could summon Baron. And I have done the same to them lol
The halq version uses the auroradon desk bot engine as a fallback option using the tenyis incase you get handtrapped, it does require some more commitment from the extra deck and a extra brick in the main deck, I didn’t think it was necessary due to how strong sword soul was especially on release but this can shift easily with the meta, honestly the deck is really tight on space and I think more maxx c counters like crossout are just more valuable currently but it’s honestly up to player opinion

i think desires is useful for that level 10 tenyi synchro monster too, 1 pot = +1000 attack to you and -1000 to your opponent, free banish too
