Great explanation. It makes sense that Ahsoka’s leave was a factor of Anakin turning to the dark side. Anakin viewed Ahsoka as a daughter, training and defending her. It was not easy for him to watch her go after everything.
Ahsoka leaving the Jedi Order was definitely a turning point for Anakin. After everything that transpired, he was just as disillusioned by the order as she was.
Got to love the Jedi order. We're the ones that made the mistake. We're the ones that thought ahsoka bombed the Jedi order, but no no, you're the one that failed. You're the one that never doubted her and trusted her like you. Trust the force and truly stood up for her like you do countless other people like when one of the Jedi order members was trapped in space and they told everyone to leave and Anakin was like no. I'm going to go help this guy then they blame him for everything. It's like bro. Take some responsibility for your own actions. You guys are the ones that made it so that Anakin had to repress his emotions making it so that he's almost not human. Even though he has these emotions you didn't teach him to acknowledge and work around them. You taught him how to suppress them which leads to people blowing up. No duh then again with ahsoka like really come on no wonder Anakin turn to the dark side
Sure, the casting away of Ahsoka was a blow to Anakin, as was intended by Palpatine, but the biggest morons in all were the Jedi Order, Palpatine was playing a RTS on very easy with this opposition.
If we look closely on episode 1-3 it's obvious that Anakin didn't have a chance at all. Jedi order was quite blind when they didn't save Anakin mother from slavery. When you are born as a slave it's normal to defend only what you can possess - love to mother or wife. When she was died he had only Padme to hold on. Palpatine was manipulated not only Anakin. He manipulated senat, Jedi council and Anakin was pushed in Palpatine hands too young. Relationship with Padme and Ahshoka was pretty much doomed with such blindness of Jedie council. Anakin was slave who had only one person to take care of him. His mother. After that he was desperate to save Padme and in that period Ahshoka was dumped from the order. As his apprentice he had difficulty to understand what's happening arround him. Even Jedi order wasn't aware who is puppet master. Anakin lost 3 most important figures in life. So his transformation to become Darth Vader was unavoidable.
Well obviously, you could say the same for padme and Obi Wan. They all were also very close to Anakin. And he has lots of issues, being if people he loved were in danger. He thought about them all the time so of course if one of them died he would angry as hell and probably turn to the darkside. In a way, his attachments were his undoing
Its a shame had ahsoka been in the temple when anakin was going to rescue sidious from mace windu she would have talked some sense into him and could have saved the galaxy.
I feel like Anakin had more attachments to more people as the Clone Wars went on. He had attachments to Ahsoka and Rex because he cared about them. It shows that it really is true that attachments lead to the dark side because as we see with Anakin, he will go great lengths to protect them even though he doesn’t realize exactly what he is doing
Insecure attachments do seem to lead to the dark side. Obi Wan has a lot of secure attachments in relationships that end tragically ans he never turns. I don't delve much into sequel stuff but it seems Kylo's insecure attachment with his father helped turn him to the dark side as well.
@aaronmoten953 watch the film again. There was a part during the film qui-gon said to Anakin, you have been freed, you're no longer a slave. Type in qui-gon freed Anakin.
@@RetneysHolocronI believe if the Jedi rejected him, Obi Wan would follow because it was Qui gons dying wish. even the though the Jedi was his life, he owed it to Qui Gon.
It kind of reminds me of some relationships where one of the partners will ‘test’ the other by doing something that obviously anyone would react negatively to and then being like “oh, you failed the test” if that makes sense
The only reason Anakin stayed in the Jedi Order was because Qui-Gon filled his head with the chosen one talk without explaining it fully. Anakin had a wife and in the final days of the Clone Wars learned he had a kid on the way he could have left the Jedi completely seeing Ahsoka’s example run off with Padme and raise their child live a happy life but for whatever reason he stayed.
I think both George Lucas and Ryan Johnson (yeah…come at me) understood that the Jedi order was a flawed, failed enterprise. I think, as the great Princess Weekes points out, the Jedi order pushed Ani to the dark side by failing to acknowledge or address his trauma. Their lack of emotional guidence and inability to cultivate healthy attachment left him feeling isolated, impotent and angry.
Ahsoka was not framed for bombing the Jedi Temple. That was Baris Offee who was responsible. She was framed for killing the bomber who was incarcerated. Baris was trying to cover her tracks after the bomber wanted to confess to Ahsoka about the presence of a Jedi splinter cell operating in the temple.
Wow, it is quite clear that you didn’t watch the show at all. Ahsoka was framed for the bombing and murder. Barriss did so when the female that killed the husband (the bomb) started talking to Ahsoka. Come on, man! Go backs and watch the show before posting idiotic comments. Clown. 😂

Just for the record...Qui-gon was the one who freed Anakin, not the jedi order. He doesn't owe them anything.
If the Council didn't agree to accept Anakin then he would've just gone back to Tatooine
But not as a slaver

Incorrect. Ahsoka’s trial was for the bombing of the Temple, and she was acquitted when Barriss confessed.
