  • Removing door panel on 2008-2013 Infiniti G37S Coupe. Replacing master door lock window switches.
I had to pull off the door panel to replace the power window and door lock switches on the driver side. We used to have a door seal water leak that caused the switches to stop working.
Check out my other G37S video if you have water leaking into your car.

Thanks for the video! I used it as a guide to replace the window switch on my coupe too. 😁

No problem. You are right, most of the repair videos posted on TH-cam are for the G37 sedans. It’s a little harder finding repair videos for the coupes. I’ll keep posting more repair videos when our G37 coupe breaks. They are pretty reliable cars, so not many repairs are needed on them.

Hi, that is what I was afraid of when I purchased my master switch. I see a lot of hit or miss reviews regarding aftermarket master switches. I purchased my switch on eBay from a reputable seller. I made sure the switch came out of a Infiniti G37S coupe that was the exact 2008 year as my car. Here is the search keywords I used on eBay.
      “oem g37s coupe master switch”.

I don’t think you have to remove the whole panel 🤔 at least on my sedan you don’t, you just pop off the little window switch panel and change the buttons out

That’s what I thought too. I initially tried to pry the master control switches up from the outside without removing the door panel, but it wouldn’t budge. I’m not too sure if it will pop off without removing the panel on the G37 coupe. I believe there are 3 screws that hold the housing in place. At 7:25 you can see 2 of the Phillips screws that hold the master control switch panel in place. It’s the 2 Phillips screws near my left glove. There is 1 more Phillips screw that is hidden near there. There’s probably a better method to get the switches out without removing the door panel. Thanks for checking out the video.

I work at a manufacturing facility that requires me to use gloves daily so we don’t get fingerprints on new parts. It has become a habit to use nitrile gloves while working on machines and repairing cars. I have been doing it for over 15 years and It feels weird to not use gloves now. It is kind of a weird habit, but it keeps me from getting other car parts dirty if I accidentally touch some glue, grease or dirt.

He’s just making sure nothing gets prints on it for the sake of higher quality work. Why does that bother you
