These exercises are great!!! Having a musical track to accompany gives the exercises greater interest and inspires more musicality. Of greatest value, is being able to trade the exercises with a trumpeter of your calibre; this provides excellent modelling of the sound and interpretation to be aimed at! Thank you for this. I just found your exercise playlist and will be using that over the next few weeks to help me get back into a practice routine, stay motivated, and address some playing challenges. Thank you again.

Do you have any advice with playing with a longer mustache, I don’t want to shave mine but I feel like the air is getting through some of the hair, this usually happens when I’m playing an upper register.
is this exercise with tonguing or without, just lips?
How many more years until I can hit the C above the register?! 😪
Better to think in hours. If you don't play the trumpet for decades the high notes won't ever come. If you practice your highest note an hour it's likely that you can squeeze out a few higher ones.
In my opinion it can be hit quite early with a proper technique. Focus on very small aperture - like trying to squeeze a needle tip with your lips and you could hit it tomorrow.
