Just got mine bro, great review. Coming from a Razer stick I can’t wait for it to arrive.
Best of luck with it!
Want it! Not for the price right now sadly :( I could get so many more things I need genuinely for that.
In respect of drive rush, I use macro as well as double tap forward depending on the situation.
Thanks for the content brother 🎉
Right? Why is this so expensive? There's a 3D-printed one on ali that people have been extolling for 50 USD, this is 299 USD. I never understood why those are so expensive.
I customized my dualsense edge triggers into directions. Does the same thing as a hit box but with a controller feel
How you do that I have a dual sense edge
@devontejefferson6520 you can remap the buttons from the function button on the controller. You might wanna watch a vid on how to remap buttons
Can you try instant divekicks/normal divekicks with Cammy? I'm struggling so badly with this in real matches on the hitbox -_-
I have that problem also, what usually helps me is to make sure to make sure after you jump forward to leave a tiny gap in between the down, forward, and kick buttons. Sometimes I press them too fast.
Practice my friend. I was also in the same boat as you guys. Practice and consistently doing it every session makes it easier.
Best review ive seen on this by far. THank you. Out of inter3st are youvstill using it or have you switched to another controller?
The Kitsune is amazing outside of these 3 issues i had with it:
1) track pad is affected by heat: your hands heat up the metal and it affects the touch pad which causes the mouse icon to jitter or drift on PC. Engage the lock switch to disable the trackpad.
2) Kitsune is a little power hungry (presumably the LEDs) and wont work on an unpowered usb hub. You can turn the LEDs off but it doesn't affect this. You have to plug directly into PC/Console. Just a minor annoyance / something to note for tourneys / locals. Wish i could just flip the lock switch and when plugged in it would be in low power mode.
3) One of my buttons developed an annoying squeak if i push the button at its edge and not center. Razer has replaced my kitsune through RMA process.

These controllers are an arms-race. Although I have more fun with fight stick, I switched to leverless for the easy inputs.
i got mine 15 days ago ..coming from stick
How is it?
Same here went from plat 2 to diamond 2. Executions improved a lot
It's actually cool but defense is tough still learning and I think I still need one more month, due to me not playing a lot
Just one thing they have to change to make it perfect....the price tag😅 I mean cmon. Where I live it''s almost the same price as a PS5 digital version😮
Agreed. The marketing buck stops with a SF fan considering “Ok..how much do I actually care to learn this format?” and if it’s less than pro they’d likely wait for a Snackbox to restock
@@KitchenDog03snack box is $250. Razer is officially licensed which explains the extra $50
so mad they arent compatible with xbox
are there any good options for xbox?
I own a snackbox and can confirm the default layout sucks for parry. Parry is very important in sf6 and having it on L2/bottom right button sucks. I just ended up switching to using Triangle+Circle/MP+MK. This is why the other layouts similar to the one Daigo uses are becoming more popular.
I'm curious whether you can reach the button above the jump button (X) comfortably with your thumb? Currently playing with keyboard using something that mimics a leverless layout and I prefer putting the DI button above my jump key and using my thumb for it.
I switched to leverless recently and the jump button took me a while to get used to. I didn't really switch for competitive reasons though. I just hate playing on a pad and find an arcade stick too ambiguous in input (accidental jumps is bane of my life). I used to play on a keyboard and just prefer concrete digital inputs.
My controller doesn't have extra buttons either and I found that for DI, using L2 is much better than L1. It's still annoying to react to DI as my pinky isn't as strong and I wish I have an extra thumb button for accessing DI (there's a reason a lot of pros use leverless controllers with extra buttons near the thumb). It does make parry harder to access though.
For DP, there's actually another shortcut in addition to "hold down, and double tap forward" (which results in ↘⬇↘). You can hold forward, tap and release down, then tap punch to get DP. With practice I find this to be the fastest way to DP when not crouching and/or moving forward. It results in a ⮕↘⮕ input, which is a valid DP shortcut in SF6.
I like watching videos on the razor as an owner. The finger complaint issue is easily remedied with a micro fiber towel. I tested this at EVO and bought it because I played on arcade stick before. I'm still adjusting myself but I've actually gotten better than the arcade stick I think so far. So far I love that it is Portable like an ipad with a steam deck I can practice on the go. I don't miss thr clacky buttons these are much quieter. You have to be a bit more precise with the pad. I'm gonna push for Diamond soon with it for Ryu
If you have big hands is this a good investment
Probably better for someone with big hands than something like the snack box because of the form factor and the buttons are bigger than the standard ones you get on most sticks
If i had the money i would definitely buy this 👍🔥 great content
emoji gang👹🥶💦
🔥🔥
1:25 thanks, youre an okay player yourself too. 😂
Thank you, great review
Does it work with series x ???
Nope
It’s a great controller! But still it take some times to adjust it.
The time will be worth it. Because hitboxs literally do not drop combos. And they are very very accurate for charge characters
Yes it’s like learning a new instrument
how long do you think does it take do go from a pad to hitbox? thanks
Maybe a couple of months
@@machoortv thank you man!
Took me 2 months. If you can practice on keyboard bc if your on PC you already have one vs spending $100+ for leverless controller which at the end of the day is just a fancy keyboard
@@stealthguru3974 yes I agree
the thing is I play on xbox series X and I'm a pad player and I just learned there is no really hitbox for xbox!!
@@cerebral89mi use a hori octa fight pad. I also play on xbox
The Razer Kitsune is overrated af, there are products from Junkshop arcades and even chinese products that offer more for less price
Razer is recommended by Playstation thats why they shaft you
Junk food charges $250 for the ps5 compatible version and are always on back order. You’re paying an extra $50 for official licensing and better build quality
There's nothing out there with the same quality as this controller, yes it's expensive and yes there are cheaper controllers out there(but less quality).
@@NneonNTJ well thats clearly bollocks what your saying. Because its all down to the physical buttons. My mates bought the button mechanisms and made a hitbox him self with wood and plastic for about £50 and its exactly same feel as this kitsune
@@eatdahl You can't even buy these switches nor buttons...
I’m very pissed Razer didn’t make this for Xbox series x.
Give it time it'll eventually come to Xbox
@@bigfitts I hope
@@Gamerlife-be9ox look up hori octa commander it's a great fight pad.
It sucks since the controller is already $300 but if you really want one you could always shell out an extra $50 for a brook wingman but honestly you’d probably be better off trying to get a snack box since those work on Xbox and cost like $250 instead of the $350 you’d spend on this and a wingman
@@Baconsoap71 I have thought about it. I already have a wingman I purchased for the Mayflash elite 500 so that’s covered. I’m just wondering if it would be something I could get used to. I guess if I didn’t like it I could sell it on line.
Its a 50$ product
You’re confused
