I was 10 years old too it was a crazy time even that time he passed out against Devon Dudley watching that was wild, we 25 now and I’ll always cherish those early wrestling memories Eddie was truly a great in the making
It still hurts and makes me cry cause I was a huge Eddie fan and it broke the hearts of Rey chavo and Benoit and the hall of fame were he was inducted I’m so happy those three guys came out and told there stories of him and I think 15 years later it’s still amazing how people still love talking about Eddie that shows how much people still love Latino heat RIP Eddie Guerrero
I came home from school and my dad told me he died I was only 7 years old and I cried for days he was my favourite wrestler still Brings a tear to my eye now
I remember getting ready to watch Monday Night Raw as I was getting super pumped up to see what was going to happen. Then I saw all the wrestlers & backstage standing in front of the stage & I was like "What's going on?! Why are they standing in front of the stage?!" Then Vince McMahon announced that *EDDIE GUERRERO HAS PASSED AWAY*. After hearing that, I felt like my heart skipped 10 or 20 beats. I just couldn't believe it, it was like one day, he was on top of the mountain & the next day, he was gone. Eddie was one of the reasons why I got into WWE. He just had the ability to create magic everytime he drove out to the ring. He just had it all. That's honestly all I can say about him.
I was there that night with my aunt and cousin, I have yet to experience anything else quite like the moment when the whole arena fell dead silent. Even 18 years later, I still get chills whenever I hear church bells, remembering that moment. That night brought my cousin and I a lot closer, and for that and everything else you did for all of us we thank you Eddie!
I found out the day after he passed. It was a Monday and I went in to school like I normally did. A classmate asked me, “hey what happened to Eddie Guerrero?” And I said I didn’t know and went on with my day. Then, when I went home I turned on the tv. Every single news channel had the headline “PROFESSIONAL WRESTLER EDDIE GUERRERO FOUND DEAD IN MINNEAPOLIS HOTEL ROOM.” Til this day, his death brings a tear to my eye. The Untold from Rey and Eddie gets me every time.
I remember hearing he died when I was at school Monday morning and when I watched Raw later that day I started crying like a baby as soon as his tribute video started RIP Eddie, WWE has never been the same since him and Benoit died
I was 13 when he passed and I definitely remember crying that whole night …i was ready to watch wrestling that night then it came on and I saw all the wrestlers standing at the entrance …I was hurt to the core …his energy was so high…Long Live the Lengend Eddie Guerrero 🤲🏾💙💯
I wasn't into wrestling when Eddie was around, but I learned about Eddie when he was talked about regarding the rivalry between him and Rey, I was impressed a little but it was only much later did I truly learn the impact he had on wrestling, specifically the cruiserweights, how popular he was to the fans, and how much of a friend he was to Rey. It is sad he passed on like he did. But I'm sure Eddie's smiling at Rey for all the things he was able to do even after his passing.
Same I wasn't in to wrestling until I started middle school back in 2005, I didn't know who Eddie was while he was still alive. I had a classmate from middle school who was a wrestling fan and told me everything about wwe and its stars including Eddie Guerrero. The classmate brought it up all because he learned that my name is also Eddie (Though sometimes I prefer to be called Ed). Still that's where I started getting into wrestling. I never got the chance to know well about Eddie Guerrero when he sadly passed away. I've watched some of his past matches including the one at No Wat Out 2004 where he defeated Brock Lesnar to win the wwe championship belt and next year is the 20th anniversary of that match. R.I.P. Eddie. VIVA LA RAZA
It's so sad an unbelievable to see someone dead and I can't even imagine how that must have felt for Chavo and Ray Eddie died when I was 15 and now I'm 30 Eddie was my favourite wrestler of all time I used to love watching Friday Night SmackDown every week just to watch Eddie wrestle or the hilarious a drama Eddie was funny and I loved seeing his lowriders R.I.P Eddie Guerrero Vida La Raza

actually I've never noticed how Rey (but actually every wrestler from that period, from rocky's Versace shirts from batista's glasses) was rocking some high designer-inspired gear even back then, sadly I can't find one backstage promo where Rey was wearing a Gucci ghost monogram pants, and maybe even mask, to show you...
