Critical points from an ageing colourist: •You must leave the dye on for the length of time in the instructions. And no not longer, that wont make the colour any stronger! This is all about chemistry. •NEVER scrub at your hair when your dying it, especially if your bleaching it. That way madness lies! All you achieve is a great deal of damage. You literally tear at the surface of the hair shafts when you do that. •If your hair is more than a mid brown then platinum needs to be magicked up by a hairdresser. It really does. I know there have been a lucky few out there that have managed it, and I bow down to your luck and congratulate you on your success. However! You tube is a wash with bleach fails that attest to my statement. Just ask Brad Mondo! My hair horror story?! 😱 Remember...you are putting chemicals on your head that can and will cause you physical harm if you dont quite know enough about what your doing. Whilst I was training as a stylist some years back I decided it would be a fantastic idea to bleach my dark brown hair and then dye it blonde. All in a weekend! I should have known better than this. In fact I'm sure I did but thought I would be fine, I knew what I was doing after all. I'd been trained in a salon and everything. What I actually got by monday morning was calling in sick to work (at a hairdressers for Gods sake) and having to go to my GP as an emergency because my head was on fire. I had burnt my hair roots, so everytime the hairs moved in the roots, in my scalp, it was agony! I then went on to develop a wicked infection in my scalp too, just to add insult to injury. Once everything calmed down and healed I got a fellow co-worker to correct the colour for me. A few months later I started learning all about different bleach powders, their strengths, the developers and their strengths and how CRUCIAL it is to understand it all properly. The thing that box dye or bleach doesn't come with is the hairdresser who has been highly trained to take the history of your hair, and check every detail of your hair, and know exactly what steps to take, so as not to burn it off as it's never a good look! So please. Learn from my horrendous mistake. And keep the tips above in mind. Its massively triggering to see this as a thing to do on youtube right now. Be kind to your gorgeous hair ladies. You rock!!! (Not aimed at anyone in particular! Just here to save the follicles!) 😀
You don’t have to leave dye on for the time listed on instructions, especially on bleached hair. Bleach changes the hair’s porosity and how it absorbs the colour, meaning it is different from person to person. Rubbing dye into the hair can also be useful for damaged hair. For example, for me colour doesn’t tend to stick to the ends of my hair as they are the most damaged so I massage the dye in on those places.
Blue in your bleach or in any hair product or purple is a way of canceling out yellow tones. They put it also in shampoos and conditioners to remove yellow and orange tones. Platinum hair will pick up air pollutants that turn your hair yellow especially at the ends and it also does it to Gray hair and white. Its not anything to worry about its what makes it platinum. If you get this result and you don't like it, take 5 lemons squeeze all lemons into a bowl and add dandruff shampoo and leave in hair for 30 minutes it will remove the purple and gray all together.
Is it me or i just dont understand........you brought a hair dye.....that was GREY/silver......you checked the back ...it litteraly went the excat color of the box/the expectation..and you were surprised? / gutted ? LOL......just seemed funny.
I used that color before. It doesnt last even though it says permanent. You should have left it on the whole time though. It would have been different. You have to let it process for the whole time to get the true color

I know this is old, but the reason it wasnt what you wanted was because you washed too soon. Like bleach it has to do color changes. You freaked too soon. Had you just left it the results would have been what you wanted
Your hair looks nice, if you use a purple shampoo and conditioner, it may help you get closer to what you want. You are pretty and have good makeup and the more you coordinate that with your hair color I think you will be pleasantly surprised
just to let people know i think the dye has a bit of peroxide in it, i previously bleached and used these dyes and forgot they had bleach too in these which causes a lot of hair breakage, well to mine it did just saying, lovely color though get good results if you end up getting a shade 12 blonde and then putting this on.

I don’t know how many times stylists have to tell everyone that colour is different on everybody!! the box colour with that picture on front has been professionally taken with lighting!! Lighting plays a huge part in how colour can appear! So technically that colour delivered like it was supposed to but depending on how light your hair is and how the porosity (condition) determines how well the product works and can vary on everyone. Next time u bring a picture with you to a stylist keep in mind is this “natural or artificial lighting” and has this photo been “filtered” to be honest do your home work find a reputable stylist and have a little faith any good hairstylist should determine what colouring suits u best so no need for photos stylist have tools to use for examples.
I love the color but don't understand why you didn't leave it in for the entire 30 minutes (at least)...it would have been fine...anyway, it is beautiful, looks very good on you.
I understand what you're saying about the comments but you can't post something like this where you haven't even used the product correctly, then ask people to comment and then complain because you dont like what some people say. But when people call me stupid, disgusting and stuff that has basically nothing to do with the video I think it’s unnecessary.... and thats that!

You've had to put it on during the time they said on the pakkage, otherwise the real color can not do his work, first it's looking darker but after 30 min it is gonna be the real color🙄🤪

I use this colour I have platinum bleached blonde hair to start with. After a month of washing it the grey has faded to a nice cool blonde.

The purple is the secret ingredient to make the gray not brassy. I'm all gray and use a purple shampoo once a week to keep brassiness at bay.

You need to leave it on until process time 30 to 40 min depending on hair type you learn from your mistakes

tbh majority of models on box dyes wear wigs lol should be illegal considering how misleading some are
