With time you can adjust your ears to “fill in the blanks” for the omitted or muffled sounds. I fully understood the first guy and enough of the second two to get the gist of what they were saying.
As an American Spurs fan, I understood everything Harry Kane said, probably because I’ve heard him talk for years now. It was hilarious to be reminded that he can be that difficult for people to understand. “Like he’s talking with marbles coated in peanut butter in his mouth” I once aptly heard! 😂
The confusion of Harry Maguire's accent was quite apt: He is a Yorkshire lad who has played in Manchester for a fair few years now, so that will have slightly softened his Yorkshire accent and moved it slightly towards a Manc accent. Of course, the Yorkshire pushes through the most, but the fact @Laurenade was unsure which to choose between Yorkshire and Manchester makes perfect sense.
I’m a southerner from Georgia (United States) and was pretty lost. Would love to hear Brit’s try and understand deep southern accents. Ya might have a harder time than a one legged man in an ass kicking contest!😂
