Today we see which one of our two electric vehicles is more efficient: the Tesla Model 3 Standard Range Plus or the Kia Soul EV Limited. What would be your guess before watching the video?
What Energy recovery Level did you set on the Kia? I have the same car, i never consumed so much energy. i have an average consummation between 12 and 13 KW/100km for this kind of trip. I drive alway with recovery level set to level 3.
We set ours at Level 3. Consumption goes up and down throughout the year. We get 12 to 13 in the summer when we do city only driving. 15 to 16 when we do city driving in Winter with heater on. On road trips at highway speeds we average around 16 in the summer and 20 in winter. It also depends on how fast you drive, if you live in a hilly area like we do (British Columbia in Canada) and so forth. There are many factors that affect range.
