I think this is the best value, all-around ebike that money can buy in 2024. It's from an American-based company, goes almost 40mph, has a good battery size, and more. Best of all, it's WELL under 2000 dollars, and that's the final price during checkout. If you want a full-size ebike good for just about everything, this is it. Ignore everything else.

@@maximumchargeEV oh, it's just the cheap sw900 display that came with the latest 1500w48v Voilamart kit I ordered due to a knackered rear wheel, figured I'd hook up the display, I never used it before, always just used mobile phone holder and a GPS app called 'speedview' - free app, ...it's all good though I've just been watching a few vids on the sw900 for all its settings etc, I just wondered if you'd used the sw900 displays before and had any secrets/tips for maxing out anything (speed etc😅) - Think I've got it just about sussed now from watching TH-cam vids, am gunna test it all in the morning to see how it goes..

@@maximumchargeEV ...Super late reply 😅 but I'd not used the display before, had it wired up to a different throttle that has a small battery meter display on it...figured I'd give the sw900 a try as I'd never bothered trying to use it before..
It's a pretty basic display (not colour) but has some ok features such as cruise control and walk mode...

I'm pissed cause I ain't got one ! Wish I could trade in my wired freedom 2023 with some cash to get double crown deal with the extra battery . I only ride mine on roads and the monon trails .

@@maximumchargeEV does the cadence sensor make the motor stop working at certain speeds in each PAS power level? Like if you're in PAS 1 does the motor cut out at let's say 14mph? Or does the motor keep working as long as you keep pedaling?

would I be doing any off roading? Do I want to pedal? Would I take it on bike trails and rail trails or only ride on the roads?

I suppose typical use to travel large spaces mainly on roads or footpaths into town, as U.K. user, I’m surrounded by country roads and private land.
I would likely include pedals regardless but off-road would likely be just well established paths anyway nothing crazy, occasional bike trails here and there..

I just had one of my two ordered Five Stars delivered yesterday (had it 24 hours!). This one is red and the other coming is blue. The Five Star emblem looks classy, not tacky. And what a beast of an ebike. Very impressive build and the 17" is plenty big...Translates into confidence while riding, and oh, what a smooth ride, wow.
Whats the fastest ebike you know of under 1000$? The cheaper the better for me. Im also 270lbs so i need a high weight limit.

@@maximumchargeEV i have a funny idea. Isn't the second battery placed under the rear rack? Why can't we use the rear rack to place the battery instead? would the bike feel funky with 30 pounds of battery weight there? I kinda had the inspiration from walke's battery placement haha.

I'm concerned about this E-Cells Five Star company and its CEO. I ordered my E-Cells 5 star on 7th May. I already paid the full payment. If I ask them, when I will get my e-bike they never respond to me.
Several times I tried to reach them. I sent them 2 to 3 emails. I texted to that CEO's number. I called that company. They neither picked up my call nor responded about a specific date.
If I post about this stuff, the company just only ask me when I have made the order or order no. I tell them everything and ask them about the particular date then they stop responding.
Please, guys, be careful. I think that I have been cheated by this company.
On their website it says:
Standard Orders: Receive your FIVE STAR bike within 60 days.
Custom Orders: Your tailored Five Star bike will be shipped within 75 days of your order date.
I unlocked the speed limit that was 72km/hour or 41mph. How could it reach at 49 mph?

Alex you said the RockShox option is a $100 upgrade. On the 5 Star order page it is $169. Is this something that when you call in they honor the $100 price?
That is a great upgrade for $100.
I would ask customer service about that. I went by what David posted on the fb page and spoke to him about it later on.
With the 5 stars they should call it the "General Weeeeeee".
