I have the 70x. LOVE IT! Always finding something else to modify and keep me interested. I ride mine daily to work in all seasons but I do live in Texas so its mostly hot. I dig how your building this in the most uncomfortable shit.
I'd like to try a 70x. The dual motor electric stuff out , just has way more power than this " toy " . This is good if you don't have access to charging an electric scooter

Adjust the belts. Make sure they are. Ot too tight. Should be a little slack in the belts to prevent binding. Adjust your shifter etc. You can adjust the chain by under side of engine it's a bolt on the bottom side of the scooter

This one is about 60lbs or so. Lot less .the z80 is around 140lbs

I ordered a different exhaust. The exhaust I put on is so loud almost unridable. In the city thr sound just bounces off buildings and so loud. It also exits out of the side right in my ear. It's just too loud

Question do you still use the 40.1 trufuel and if you do how is it holding up because I have a different scooter but I have a 50cc engine it the same as yours a 2 stroke motor

Nothing is better than electric scooter, no worries about Maintaince, adjusting, changing oils. Just charged the battery fully & ready to have fun….Lol!
A dual motor 3200 watt scooter will blow this away. It's neat, if you don't have access to being able to charge a scooter this maybe a good unit

When mine was brand new out of the box my first two tanks of I stuck a little bit more 2-cycle oil in it then more than what they call four to help it break in it smoked like a b**** but it helped it wore in pretty nice.
I know breaking in a small gas engine , you should use a conventional oil then change it out 2 or 3 times in the first 30 hrs before switching to a synthetic etc to wear the rings in. Not sure about 2 stroke
I don't understand why he changed out the carburetor and exhaust why was that necessary

I JUST GOT A EVO SCOOTER WITH NO ENGINE FOR $25 AND I BOUGHT A BRAND NEW R460 FROM ddm and it is fast so I HAVE $350 IN TO IT.
Ive got the 70x and the main carrier bearing in the gearbox failed on the first day..... it's now single speed with a 14 front and 54 rear sprocket set-up

@@NomadicScooter the Hausheng Kasei engine can do some serious speeds with the right mods. Equal length porting, Mitsubishi T300 ignition coil, Area RC reed valves, Walbro 48 or Tillotson H20 carb with velocity stack and good breather with a custom exhaust and you got a weapon...

My friend gave me one of these. I know it's a 50cc 2 stroke engine kit. It has a clutch. I just am unsure of which engine to get. Also money is tight so if anyone has a suggestion of which one to get I'd sure appreciate it.

How many screws out from closed is the screw adjustment on the carb at it's best
you have to screw it all the way in,back it out 2turns ,get the engine hot put in gear with wheel off ground and rev engine turning screw at same time until engine reaches max rpm
I'd add weight to the flywheel too.

My shift takes a lot to switch over. Also, even in low gear my rear tire doesn't roll back. Bought used. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated
Just have to play with the adjustments. I know kinda have to get everything adjusted just right
That's normal as first gear has one directional bearing. The microshift will loosen up after a day or two.

@@aujuwanbrown6413 yes. Second or high gear and you should be able to push slowly in reverse.

The gas scooter is different. I wouldn't ride this thing in a city or public park. Loud as hell like running a chain saw

Goped brand scooters are the best quality you can get . These break all the time . The scooters are good if you completely tear them down at the frame and replace absolutely everything including the motor.
I've had the x-treme xg 575 50cc, which is identical, for over 2k miles and not a single problem. Nothing. Runs like a top. Goped is way overrated and wayyyyyyy over priced
I'd have to look at go ped. People like the novelty of a gas scooter.

Don’t think you’d get a hundred miles even with a spare can like that. How much weight do you think this can do?
I imagine the scooter itself could handle upwards of 300. The engine? That’s another story. But realistically, comparing horsepower to carrying human weight.
Might not have the best acceleration but it shouldn’t have an issue reaching 25mph I would imagine. Again I don’t really know. I’ve been researching these, and I’m around 300lbs.
I’m not huge, I’ve grown into my weight, I’m also 6’2. But I’m a bigger guy. And it’s hard to say what can and cannot work. I’ve seen people around 280s say that 50cc 2strokes do just fine.
Unless you were not able to charge an electric scooter, I wouldn't consider this thing. A dual motor 3200 watt electric scooter will blow this thing away on every aspect.
@@NomadicScooter was mostly interested in a gas engine. Not electric. Purpose mostly used on paved sidewalks/roads. Mostly for fun, however if it works well enough and gets good enough mileage on one tank. Could use it to commute occasionally to work which is 5 miles.

Depending where u live. You need a scooter endorsement in California for certain scooters. Check your local laws

Been trying to sell this scooter since the day I bought it. I live in a city so it is WAAAYYYYYY too loud. This scooter is junk all around. I seriously can't give it away in a sell site. Nobody wants it and either do you! Thing is actually hilariously terrible. Terrible gas mileage. Ride as far away from home as you dare. Scooter is super heavy. You can't push it well at all if the engine isn't on.
I dont ride it in the city anymore lol. I rode it through Santa Monica and it was like a ripping chainsaw echoing off all the buildings. It's good for certain applications
