In retirement, medically induced, I found myself outside the city corporation, literally the width of a tar and chip road, among the corn stalks. Corn stalks aren't concerned when they hear firearm reports. I range on a berm in my yard. About 4 months after I began my regular endeavors out to the berm for practice, I began to hear the reports from the firearm of my neighbor to the north. It was a comforting moment. Then I heard the reports of the neighbor on the other side of me south. This little stretch of road has three 2A employers that regularly exercise. Sometimes the populated areas obstruct the perspective. Changes in scenery freshen the spirit. Cheers.
