2007 Impreza vs 2011 WRX vs 1986 Mercedes 300e and a 2015 Jeep GC Ice Day

Another day on the lake, probably the last one since it is getting warm. This time the Benz had some aggressive studs on its rear tires. A 2011 WRX joined us as well as did a Jeep Grand Cherokee hemi. Both Subaru’s were on mild, standard studs. Both Subaru drivers had racing experience and were pretty evenly matched skill wise. The WRX could not outrun the Impreza on this track as it was off boost in most sections. For skill comparison, an amateur driver, the Mercedes owner, did a best lap of 2:17 in the Subaru Impreza.
