Y'all, I just want you to know that everything about this video is unnerving and I have no idea why. From the silence before the "yayyyys" to the human figures, and the music, it's just really unnerving. Whoever did this, did a fantastic job on it.
Considering there’s clearly a link between the wood crawlers and nature’s mockery, the inclusion of freeze tag is interesting since nature’s mockery can induce paralysis. Also, someone outside screamed when the first runner was “frozen”.
Ah, this brings back memories. I remember the last time I played "Feed the Woods" with my childhood friend Dan. He liked it so much, he never came out of the woods! Miss you, Danny....
Freeze tag is even more unnerving when you look at it this way Red = woodcrawler White = living kid Black = dead kid Even worse once you realize that over 3000 kids went missing in this universe
I just realised that the children represented in black are actually in the fourth game, but they’re really hard to see. Either it’s showing a list of places that children are likely to hide, or showing children where to hide. “There will be a small cave with a bright light above it.” “Crawl into it.” “You will feel the flesh of them and others.” “Do not make a sound.” “The game ends when the entry to the cave shuts.”
@@scandited2763 I think its referencing deep root disease and how you can help the victims survive it by pulling out the roots before they touch the bones
really interesting how they refer to the kids as “tagger” and “seeker” but then says the game ends when “it” finds you its like the woodcrawlers are what the kids are hiding and running from
so basically, Iris has been looking for Earth and finally find it through Saturn's Gateways. Also, the planet has been in every single video on this channel. In the background static is a half-circle that is sometimes orange. It's a bit hard to see but if you turn your brightness up it becomes clear.
@🍓Strawberry Crepe Cookie🍓 The Iris isn't Neptune, it mutated Neptune. It's also been pulling moons from the various planets, including one that shouldn't actually exist, known as Themis. Jupiter is wounded, Saturn's gateway is being pulled apart and oddly Uranus and Pluto have remained unaffected.
One of my favorites of Gemini Home Enterntainment. I love the part when arrows point us into points in shadows, suggesting that something might be hiding there (and it IS hiding there - you can see for example an arrow pointing at something that appears to be Iris just before the scene with police car. Frowny face isn't a "bad answer".). That creates extra unsettling atmostphere. Great work
@@TheMouseAvenger from what I have seen from other comments and theories, the arrow pointing could mean that a kid is found, showing a frowned face with a buzzer, meaning that the kid was found and "won", by that, meaning he got caught by a wood crawler
Yeah, although now my jaw feel kinda weird... And I haven’t seen my friends in about 6 months... Also, it’s taking forever to remove the red vines around my house!!!
@@lukethelegend9705 well I think they crushed the police officers with inside the patrol car, if a wood crawler is strong enough to break open the cement blocks on a storm shelter that I'm certain they can smash a part of patrol car
My personal favourite is feed the woods, I play it with my friends quite a lot actually. Every now and again we see a strange figure emerge from the woods after we scream for a minute of two, it seems to have something that emits a strange ominous glow on it’s head. We run. And we play the next day! The views are great by that lake.
I’ve think that I have gotten a pretty comprehensive analysis of GHE’s creatures, called Woodcrawlers. This is all speculation and may or may not be true. Take what I say with a grain of salt. Woodcrawlers are spider like creatures with a round body, originating from the Marianas Trench and below. They clearly dislike light due to their evolutionary traits of a bright glowing eye (bioluminescent traits are very helpful when you live at the lowest, darkest point on earth). Somehow they’re able to live both in water *and* on the land. Their most dangerous ability, however, is the shifting trait that they possess. They’re able to become “fake” versions of existing animals, a near perfect audio and visual replica. However, they can’t copy the BEHAVIOR of these animals, such as Woodcrawler humans behaving erratically and screaming for help while moving around jerkily. Woodcrawlers (to my knowledge) don’t reproduce. They *infect.* Allow me to explain. The plant called “‘Nature’s Mockery” is said to cause flesh decay and other nasty symptoms. This must be how more and more woodcrawlers appear. Since woodcrawlers are also referred to as “Natures Mockery.” This is also supported by the fact that it is advised to rip the foreign object from your body in the Survival Guide. (Extra, less important details) The size they can grow up to is *massive,* becoming near leviathan like sizes, able to engulf cars (and at their larger state, as seen in the dream video) are able to become hulking behemoths that lurk in the ocean deep below. It’s also very clear that these Woodcrawlers are normal, and a regular part of society. I don’t know what Gemini Home Entertainments role in this story is, but I do know that they must (to some degree) dislike Woodcrawlers. Calling them “Natures Mockery,” telling us to burn the bodies, lest they stand up again- and even getting a lot of fake people as footage. But the thing that confuses me most is why would they have “Feed the Woods?” Is it a way to pacify the Woodcrawlers? This takes place in North America, (and judging from the style of the VHS tapes) In the 1900s no less. Why not hunt them down with Napalm, and stage a campaign against them? It’s all very confusing, but hopefully we’ll find out more over time. Thanks for reading this all the way through, have a nice day. News flash I was fucking WRONG LOL
Rewatching the videos, Woodcrawlers are also unable to be killed with bullets. Oh, and if you rewatch the Lethal Omen video, there’s a strange nest (before the “fake” human enemy appears) or some kind of human in the process of becoming a Woodcrawler because of nature’s mockery, which is a plant listed in the survival guide that I theorized turns people into Woodcrawlers if the infection is left untreated for long enough.
I played feed the woods with my friends 6/10 some of them went missing and the police were involved but other than that I had a good time would play again
I liked how the end we didn't get the real "yay" until it was from the Iris' POV looking at Earth, showing that for the final game, It was "it" and we are the prey.
i can't take this seriously cause everytime i see the crying kid face on screen i imagine that image of spongebob crying with the vine boom sound effect overlayed on it
Hmmmm My best guess is this one was made sometime between the years 1988 to 1992 judging by the fact the Police Car at the end looks box shaped like a late 1980s crown victoria or mid 80s dodge diplomat, Police Cars didn't really start getting oval shaped until about 1993 onwards.
I love feed the woods! It was always my favorite game as a child. We used to play it with our cousins. For some reason I was considered a “bad influence” and they “never wanted to see me again”. Now I don’t have any friends to play with, I think they all moved away the first time they played it. It’s strange though. They never told me.
Realize that the "seeker" in hide and seek looks white while the "it" in freeze tag looks red, this might represent woodcrawlers and if you look in 2:00 the upper text faded away only leaving "it" wins. And in sardines the "seeker" hides with the hider or "tries it's best to hide with the hider" this may represent woodcrawlers blending in society. Might be a little late but I'll give it a try
Yeah. "Feed the woods" is also a real game. And I`m not saying it because I`m a woodcrawler or something. Because I`m not. You should all tottaly play that. Like Tonight or something.
Is it just me or is there a reason that all of these games involve splitting up groups? In Hide and Seek everyone splits up to hide from the seeker, in Freeze Tag everyone runs away from each other, and in Sardines you split up to search for the hiders. Perhaps there's a malicious reason behind this?
How do you Feed the Woods, exact...? Ooh, I get it. Reports of children missing in the woods, police investigate, a colossal spider devours the police car, feeding the woods.
This episode is the one that unnerved me the most, with the creepy dark woods, the liminal space photos, the the arrow pointing at the Earth with the words "Found You!"
something about the last part is so nerve-wracking and anxiety inducing i just cannot watch it entirely without either taking one of my earphones off or shifting my attention to something else other than the video. truly one of the best analog horrors out there. ❤
Wow they really pulled out all the childhood classics! Kids these days on their phones and ipads, but these were the fun games we played when I was a kid.
so I tried to make a report about this video in the minerva alliance style, so here goes nothing. Title: "Games For Kids" Video Creator: Optica! Video Date of Origin: Unknown, estimated to be approx. 1996 - 1997 Recovered: 6/25/2020 Recovery Location: The house of Mr. and Mrs. Lorner in Moorshead, Clay County, MN. ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: The cassette tape with this video was recovered by the Moorhead Police Department, in conjunction with (REDACTED) after the recent disappearance of 9-year-old Jaimie Lorner, the sole child of the Lorner family, and several of her friends after Jaimie discovered the tape in their house's attic. Jaimie was last seen sneaking outside of her parent's house at the dead of night and gathering her aforementioned friends, then heading out into the nearby woods. In addition, all attempts of contacting former Optica! Video employees have reportedly failed. It has also been discovered that Optica! Video went defunct in the mid-to-late 2000s, which may have been due to the decline of home media sales during that period. Additionally, comparison with other "Games For Kids" tapes produced by the same company have revealed that the Lorner tape has several key differences from the rest of the tapes compared. It has been reported that the nearby woods had been infested with what is called "Nature's Mockery" and creatures that are commonly known as "Skinwalkers". It is speculated that Jaimie and her friends were victims of the skinwalkers, as they produce light and are attracted to loud noises. If you have any info about Jaimie Lorner or any of the other missing children, please contact the Clay County Office of Missing and Exploited Children at (REDACTED).

They were just playing Feed The Woods
Real-time.
Ah, this brings back memories. I remember the last time I played "Feed the Woods" with my childhood friend Dan. He liked it so much, he never came out of the woods!
Miss you, Danny....
Danny is with us now.
You can join him if you want.
*_Come Back To The Woods_*
Everybody knows that when someone freezes you, you also turn black.
A fun bonus side effect.
Is this why cops yell “freeze” at suspects?
@@birdgreen9337 C U R S E D c o m m e n t
So that’s why cops keep on pulling me over when I’m driving
🍉
Could be interpreted as racism OR frostbite! what a hoot! :D
it just hit me that the last scene, pointed at the earth, is likely from the iris's point of view.
woah.
Freeze tag is even more unnerving when you look at it this way
Red = woodcrawler
White = living kid
Black = dead kid
Even worse once you realize that over 3000 kids went missing in this universe
Wait... wasn't the 3000 kids from Mandela catalog?
I just realised that the children represented in black are actually in the fourth game, but they’re really hard to see.
Either it’s showing a list of places that children are likely to hide, or showing children where to hide.
“There will be a small cave with a bright light above it.”
“Crawl into it.”
“You will feel the flesh of them and others.”
“Do not make a sound.”
“The game ends when the entry to the cave shuts.”
Then why after touching the become white? Are they becoming alive?
@@scandited2763 I think its referencing deep root disease and how you can help the victims survive it by pulling out the roots before they touch the bones
Yo why does the black kid have to be the dead one, racist?
😂😂😂😂
really interesting how they refer to the kids as “tagger” and “seeker” but then says the game ends when “it” finds you its like the woodcrawlers are what the kids are hiding and running from
What is a wood crawler, I searched it up and got images of carts made of wood to help the little ones walk
so basically, Iris has been looking for Earth and finally find it through Saturn's Gateways.
Also, the planet has been in every single video on this channel. In the background static is a half-circle that is sometimes orange. It's a bit hard to see but if you turn your brightness up it becomes clear.
Who is Iris?
Great work
What DOES the frowny face mean, then? :? And why the buzzer sound, if it doesn't mean "bad answer"?
@@TheMouseAvenger from what I have seen from other comments and theories, the arrow pointing could mean that a kid is found, showing a frowned face with a buzzer, meaning that the kid was found and "won", by that, meaning he got caught by a wood crawler
Come to my house at 9 PM so we can play "Feed The Woods"
Everyone is invited!
Sure!
No thanks, don't feel like getting killed
Thanks for the invitation!
did anyone go home that night? i can't find my friend :'
@@lazuardichoiri6123 oh don’t worry, your friend is probably fine
When playing hide and seek, make sure that you memorize all of your friends so that you don’t find somebody who isn’t one of you
"Found you" with the arrow pointing at Earth might be my favorite moment from any analog horror ever. It's so simple yet tells so much.
feed the woods was such a classic game
Yeah, although now my jaw feel kinda weird...
And I haven’t seen my friends in about 6 months...
Also, it’s taking forever to remove the red vines around my house!!!
This is 100% the creepiest episode for me. The seeking sequence with the sad face and the lowering pitch made me flinch away from my phone so much.
Those kids really need a adult to save them, preferably the Police

Oh,.. then I guess they are all screwed either way.
oh fuck those missing chidlens then
D-did the woodcrawler just possess that police car?
@@lukethelegend9705 well I think they crushed the police officers with inside the patrol car, if a wood crawler is strong enough to break open the cement blocks on a storm shelter that I'm certain they can smash a part of patrol car

"When all the runners are frozen, it wins."
That sounds . . . ominous.
i love how the '"it" wins' just stayed there not fading away with the main text at 1:58
My personal favourite is feed the woods, I play it with my friends quite a lot actually. Every now and again we see a strange figure emerge from the woods after we scream for a minute of two, it seems to have something that emits a strange ominous glow on it’s head. We run. And we play the next day! The views are great by that lake.
Instructions unclear, I am now embedded in a tree.
Thats how you win? I thought you were supposed to sacrifice your friends to the woodcrawler
Are you saying you just reenacted the ending of There, There?

I never played Feed the Woods, there are no woods were I lived. What a bummer

The police officer screamed from horror.
And so him and his car went underground.
(Extra, less important details)
The size they can grow up to is *massive,* becoming near leviathan like sizes, able to engulf cars (and at their larger state, as seen in the dream video) are able to become hulking behemoths that lurk in the ocean deep below.
That's really accurate. Woodcrawlers may also be of alien or supernatural origins but I like your take on a more grounded version of them.
redacted I don’t think the woodcrawlers are like the creatures we saw at the bottom of the Mariana Trench, the limbs are more wooden like.
redacted that’s not a nest, it’s a Nature’s Mockery, compare it to the image of it in the survival guide.
It’s likely that blue ray from the solar system video was the origin of the monsters at the bottom of the Mariana Trench
That sad face is really scary, i don't know why, but i really found it scary
Amazing video!
That “YAAAAAY” stock sound effect is so accurate to actual kids entertainment back in the day, yet so creepy.
I know and that one part were it show earth and then the word found you is also scary
@@writer4000 Oh god.

A lot of people talk about how scary the feed the woods part was, for me, it was when the arrow pointed towards the earth and said "found you!"
imagine if it just shows an image of your house irl and says "found you"
I played feed the woods with my friends 6/10 some of them went missing and the police were involved but other than that I had a good time would play again
I liked how the end we didn't get the real "yay" until it was from the Iris' POV looking at Earth, showing that for the final game, It was "it" and we are the prey.
THE DISTORTED CELEBRATION OF THE KIDS WHEN THE CAR IS EATEN, TAKEN, CRUSHED, ETC WHATEVER YOU WANT TO DESCRIBE THE SCENE IS SUCH A COOL DETAIL
i love horror that doesnt rely on jumpscares
"gather" all of your friends.
Well, it's impossible. I already did! They're in my basement, you silly!!
i can't take this seriously cause everytime i see the crying kid face on screen i imagine that image of spongebob crying with the vine boom sound effect overlayed on it
Hmmmm My best guess is this one was made sometime between the years 1988 to 1992 judging by the fact the Police Car at the end looks box shaped like a late 1980s crown victoria or mid 80s dodge diplomat, Police Cars didn't really start getting oval shaped until about 1993 onwards.
When they point the arrow to earth and it says "Found You!", it gives me massive "Uh oh, Bad decision Mark!" vibes, seriously unsettling
Apart from the unsettling audios and horrid imagery, the music throughout this ARG is an absolute bop
Really dig the tongue-in-cheek vibes. Dark humor keeps the video in the appropriate realm for its production.
This is probably the best one so far, the way this paranormal situation is explained to kids is really smart.
Well that was the most terrifying video in the series thus far. Glad I saw the notification
I've never heard of sardines, is it a real game?
yes.
Yeah, it's the thing compact house flippers put on their toast.

Wait it is
Yeah. "Feed the woods" is also a real game. And I`m not saying it because I`m a woodcrawler or something. Because I`m not. You should all tottaly play that. Like Tonight or something.
I remember when me and my friends used to play Feed the Woods... I think I was the only one who lost, because nobody else came back...
I saw that woodcrawler and the iris at the end!
The intro music sounds kinda familar too!
Where did you see the IRIS?
Looking for The Iris.

The part where the sun is setting!
Easier for a particular "something" to pick off individuals when they're away from the group and do it silently without raising suspicion immediately.
I appreciate that every time the out of the ordinary section begins, the music cuts out. It’s just a little cue that stuff is about to go very wrong.
i dont know why, but the camera moving at 4:22 scared the shit outta me. made it feel like i was there.
Bro same
Noticed something after a couple of rewatches.
I... don't think that's the camera moving.
How do you Feed the Woods, exact...?
Ooh, I get it. Reports of children missing in the woods, police investigate, a colossal spider devours the police car, feeding the woods.
this is honestly one of my favorite videos in analog horror period
I like how it starts with games about running away from someone chasing, then to become part of the ones chasing.
1:16 The deluge brings forth the light of the ocean.
This episode is the one that unnerved me the most, with the creepy dark woods, the liminal space photos, the the arrow pointing at the Earth with the words "Found You!"
5:10 dang I really lost the game huh, and now you have too!
All scares aside, background music in this one is really nice
I’m back to watching this entire series right before bed. Pray for my sleep schedule

The "it wins" not disappearing until after the resf of the text is that subtle genius people can show in analog horror

something about the last part is so nerve-wracking and anxiety inducing i just cannot watch it entirely without either taking one of my earphones off or shifting my attention to something else other than the video. truly one of the best analog horrors out there. ❤
All of these games are so nostalgic to me, especially Feed The Woods. I wish me and my friends could play it again one day.

Wow they really pulled out all the childhood classics! Kids these days on their phones and ipads, but these were the fun games we played when I was a kid.
this one is probably my favorite of the series
"Sardines", aka "that one game from the Inside No. 9 episode".
so I tried to make a report about this video in the minerva alliance style, so here goes nothing.
Title: "Games For Kids"
Video Creator: Optica! Video
Date of Origin: Unknown, estimated to be approx. 1996 - 1997
Recovered: 6/25/2020
Recovery Location: The house of Mr. and Mrs. Lorner in Moorshead, Clay County, MN.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
The cassette tape with this video was recovered by the Moorhead Police Department, in conjunction with (REDACTED) after the recent disappearance of 9-year-old Jaimie Lorner, the sole child of the Lorner family, and several of her friends after Jaimie discovered the tape in their house's attic.

I just found this channel and a few similar, and keep finding myself saying "oh you kids...maybe this new generation isn't so bad after all". This is just the content I've wanted to see since I was younger. Keep it up!
Me and my friends had fun playing "Feed the Woods" with some other people in the woods who looked just like us but they had trouble talking. Jake's lookalike took him to a different part of the woods and we haven't seen him since. Hopefully he didn't abandon us for his new friend :(
