I think it's a combination of both. Iris has to have a gravitational pull because it's huge. Gravity cares about mass and only mass, and Iris is definitely massive enough to have its own gravitational pull. However, if you pay attention to the dates listed, then Crusader got caught in Iris's gravity, entered the esophagus, exited the esophagus, and entered the spinal complex, all in the same month- January 1993. That's a really short timeframe when we're talking about a spacecraft going through space, and it's short to the point that I don't think the gravitational pull nor Iris breathing in could do it on its own. But if the Iris's breathing and gravity work together, it could possibly explain how short of a timeframe it is. Crusader ends up caught inside the planet within a few days, and the rest of January has it going through the esophagus and spinal complex. That could make the timeframe feasible, explain the breathing noises heard as Crusader is dragged into Iris, and still works from the standpoint of Iris being so big it objectively has to have gravity.

I know this is pretty old now, but this is one of the scariest videos to me because of this implication: The Iris may be far away, but it isn’t keeping any secrets. It not only allows the Crusader to photograph its insides, but sends it back to earth so humans know exactly what’s coming for them. It's likely not the Iris itself considering its size. But it's almost certainly something it sent to Earth that's housing the Crusader. Terrifying implications.
A lot of people mentioned the Chiron fact, but the fact the satellite only took images of Callisto, Europa, and Io is pretty interesting. Ganymede is the largest Jovian moon, with a magnetosphere and missing from the images. The Iris had a snack before Earth maybe?

In "Monthly Progress Report", the ending dialogue states that the team was expecting to meet their client in less than seven months. This video states that Crusader 5 went offline for 7 months before returning to earth.
A great piece of foreshadowing is the images of Saturn itself. The rings are much thinner than they are normally depicted in photos, suggesting that the Iris has been pulling the asteroids away from the 'gateway'.

Fun fact: The original great dark spot on Neptune, the "Iris", was reported by NASA to have disappeared sometime before 1994. The last photograph from the crusader was in 1993. Also since then, in 2016, a new great dark spot has been identified as well as some smaller ones...

If you look at the planets lined up together at the begining, you'll notice that Neptune is the only planet with a black square background, perhaps an attempt to censor what Neptune has become?
I think it's because the picture of Neptune is older than the others, before it left, while the pictures of Jupiter and Saturn were of the ones taken on the mission.
As a huge space nerd, this is even more horrifying to me. The moons of iris being impossible because of gravity making planets into spheres, the speed of iris getting from the edges of the solar system to the earth in 7 months could be possible if the iris is a rouge planet, but it’s implied it stops near the earth in lethal omen. You can’t lose hundreds of km of speed for an object presumably over trillions of tons. Christ man, the fucking “breathing” as well. The crusader 5 was moving probably around 5km per second, perpendicular near the iris as well, probably being many times as fast. Dispite the low mass of the object, you don’t just stop and object like that and pull it downwards. This is shows how fucking mind bending the iris is, breaking the laws of physics. Neptune is also taken over by the iris, Neptune is the 3rd most massive planet, getting rid of that is fucking insane. A planet sized organism like that is insane. This isn’t just some hunky dorky mysteries sized planet, it breaks the laws or the universe by will. Chiron is a hypothetical moon of Saturn sighted by Hermann Goldschmidt in 1861, who claimed it was Saturn’s 9th moon, orbiting between Titan and Hyperion. As Chiron hasn’t been sighted since, it’s likely Goldschmidt was merely observing one of Saturn’s other large moons, having misidentified it as the non-existent Chiron. Themis, another hypothetical moon of Saturn described in 1905 by William Henry Pickering shows up at 2:19, and like Chiron was never seen again after its initial sighting, suggesting that Pickering may have similarly misidentified one of the other moons. The fact that both exist in this strange universe is just scratching the surface!

On their "graph" picture a lot of people think that the "client" that we were supposed to meet were to show up in 7 months. But if that's the case, why does the ACL computer already have the roots? Also, this can't really be a prequel because in the solar system video, Neptune was still in the solar system and Jupiter still had its rings. So wouldn't that video be the prequel instead?

This is a horror masterclass. Even the small details like just the sound the camera shutter does upon each image becoming more distorted in the worst possible way. Never mind the fact that we don't "need" the sound, as such was never actually taken and transmitted back to Earth. I think that little detail adds a bit very subliminal and subconscious horror "why the shutter sound in the first place?"
So, if I had to guess... The iris used neptune's eye to "scout" out the earth. It tried with jupiter but it didn't work, hence the wound. It then used saturn's rings as a gateway. It either exchanged positions with neptune or "infested" it, creating this bio planet. It sent down "the lights" to make contact, seeing as they can survive in extreme conditions, like space, underground and even extreme depth pressure. These things set up nests as bases or homes. It then used it's woodcrawlers to harvest humans for food. Eventually it managed to learn that mimicing humans was much more effective. It probably created the Gemini Home Entertainment company to spread misinformation and to teach it's mimics, like the home invasion video. It's probably working on consuming Earth to sustain it's massive biomass, then onto another planet. Either that or it essentially makes us all livestock. That's my best guess so far
I like the theory but I think GHE is actually being used by both (humans and Iris). If that wasn't the case, Jack's tapes and the storm tape wouldnt be published. But it cant only be used by humans either cause of the Regnad and the home invasion tapes.

1:32 saturns rings are way thinner than normal. at first i thought this was an error, but seeing as this seems to be an actual image, im guessing the gravitational pull of the Iris has begun pulling material away from the rings, which is shown by how some of Saturn's moons are now in orbit of the Iris
This probably has something to do with the "MONTHLY PROGRESS REPORTS" video, when communication with Iris is established, it makes a reference to taking Saturn too as well so the gravitational pull taking material away could definitely be the start of that
I am concerned about the moons "cyst" (that looks like a cell in mitosis) and "umbilic" (that I think it looks like an embryo with its yolk sack). Maybe they are a reference to a "blastocyst" and a Life form growing up (morr complex than just an eye? This is a masterpiece. The storytelling, attention to detail, and visuals are off the charts. The shutter speed even slowed down when it went inside the [REDACTED] and couldn't get as much light. This is the best analog horror channel right now, maybe even better than Local58.
Not trying to sound greedy but local58 makes us wait like 2 years for a 3 minute long video, all the other channels inspired by it seem to produce way more content.

The pictures are from the dream visualizer when jack was asleep. The photos were from May 6th-9th, which was the duration of his sleep, and his dream was someone (or something) standing over him. The conscious mind photos were from the other “man”s perspective.

@@pixelsarea well we know it 'mutated' and if you pay attention in the solar system video, you can see a blue out of focus planet phase in creeping up on both saturn (the gateway) and Mars at one point (go back and pay attention to the upper right side for saturns screen and the lower left for mars) so most likely,,,,neptune is moving (that and the funky looking moon slides on this one only started when we got to saturn so,,,and then basing off the 'monthly report' where the iris says 'mary sees the gateway die' and saturn got called 'the gateway' and how jupiter has an open wound (which I wonder what caused that)...well things are getting ominous) this is all me spitballing on what we've seen so far but if neptune is moving, well its getting closer...

Also, in the glitching slides right after 6:28, you can see the slide with the three planets Crusader photographed and Neptune just isn't on it anymore. It's also noteworthy to point out that in the first time we see that same slide, Neptune has a black background to it, while the other two are transparent, which would imply that the slide originally didn't have a picture of Neptune on it and Gyneva had to put one in manually. That's also supported by the fact that the image appears to be the one taken by Voyager 2 in 1989, two years before Crusader would have reached it, had it still been there.
Fun fact (according to wikipedia): There are only 2 astronomical objects called "Chiron": 2060 Chiron, which is an outer-solar-system object, and a hypothetical saturn moon which was later found out to be non existing. Themis (in this case 24 Themis) actually exists, but as an asteriod. Hestia was an informal name used between 1955 and 1975 for Jupiter's moon Himalia. Kadlu (or in this case 8709 Kadlu) also exists, but as a NEO (Near-Earth Object) Ceto (actually 65489 Ceto) is a binary trans-neptunian object

At 2:01, there's a frame saying "Saturn has 79 moons, each with their own characteristics. During its mission, Crusader photographed 2 of these moons." (You can use the keys , and . to move between frames in the video) However, in the video, Crusader actually took photos of 3 moons, Titan, Iapetus, and Chiron. If you looked up Chiron, it's actually a hypothetical moon, meaning it's not been proven and has been seen since. And yet here it is, complete with a photograph.
So this basically confirms Neptune was destroyed by the Iris. But more than that, the inside of the Iris seems to be a gateway of sorts? Or it at least connects in some ways to the woodcrawlers back on Earth. It's also interesting that the Iris has a respiratory system, considering its planet-sized body and the vacuum of space. Could the Iris have _breathed_ Neptune? But man, I was excited when I saw this on my subscription feed. You could not take that dumb grin away from my face while I watched :D
I don’t think the Iris destroyed Neptune. I think the Iris IS Neptune. The dark spot on Neptune visible in the logo of Gemini Home Entertainment seems to have a white pupil, like an eye. That dark spot on Neptune has been referred to by many scientists as the *Eye of Neptune,* or the *Wizard’s Eye.* Some conspiracy theorists even believed that due to the fact that the Eye of Neptune was prone to suddenly changing its direction it flowed across Neptune, sometimes doing a complete 180 and rotating around Neptune the other way, that this was proof that Neptune was alive.

Something striking I noticed when re-watching this video and "MONTHLY PROGRESS REPORTS". At the 6:00 mark, we hear a siren accompanied by what appears to be a watchtower or tower of some kind. What's important to note is that the siren being played is the same siren as heard when the "Activating speaker" prompt was shown in MPR. I think it's safe to assume that the tower shown here is the tower they use to communicate with the Iris, or some feature that goes along to the labyrinth of Regnads systems. Just a wild thought. I think this video's honestly the creepiest of the bunch. It's amazing how utterly unsettling the camera shutters and stills of the increasingly bizarre moons and The Iris itself is.

I would like to address the fact that one of the previous tapes was made in 1985, this tape specifies the probe was launched 12 years prior, meaning it left Earth in 1973. You know what real world probe was launched in 1973? Pioneer 11, which did a flyby of Saturn. Just thought that was interesting.

@@koutouzoc8883 That's right! That's why I said I have to look at the timeline again. It's all so long and convoluted. But why would the Iris send the probe back? Probes generally aren't designed to return to Earth, they just transmit data until they're either too far away or run out of power.

And that maybe, the 7 month timeline that the probe was away might be the same 7 months mentioned in the Monthly Progress report. There's a similar radio tower and sound that plays, after all. The Crusader 5 probe also captured it's last photograph in October. The same month that Regnad made "a lot of progress" during, in the monthly progress report.

- When Crusader is going through the esophagus, instead of being described as 'lateral,' like sideways, it says that it is 'laceral,' like 'laceration.' Could be a typo, could be meaningful.
- Hestia is not a moon of Jupiter, _but_ it is actually an old name for a real moon of Jupiter named 'Himalia', which was sometimes called 'Hestia' until the 70s. It is one of the largest bodies in the solar system to never be photographed in detail. We have a rough concept of the appearance of Himalia, but we actually don't know what it looks like up close. However, it's suspected that Himalia isn't round, which means that this either is not that same moon, or it has been altered by the Iris.
- Shortly after the frame that appears at 2:02, a frame appears for an even smaller fraction of a second at 2:04 that is entirely distinct from it.
It seems mostly illegible but some words I can make out are "Crusader... space... atmosphere... scientists... storms to... a... shared... other"

I think it's a combination of both. Iris has to have a gravitational pull because it's huge. Gravity cares about mass and only mass, and Iris is definitely massive enough to have its own gravitational pull. However, if you pay attention to the dates listed, then Crusader got caught in Iris's gravity, entered the esophagus, exited the esophagus, and entered the spinal complex, all in the same month- January 1993. That's a really short timeframe when we're talking about a spacecraft going through space, and it's short to the point that I don't think the gravitational pull nor Iris breathing in could do it on its own.
But if the Iris's breathing and gravity work together, it could possibly explain how short of a timeframe it is. Crusader ends up caught inside the planet within a few days, and the rest of January has it going through the esophagus and spinal complex. That could make the timeframe feasible, explain the breathing noises heard as Crusader is dragged into Iris, and still works from the standpoint of Iris being so big it objectively has to have gravity.
I don't think I'm seeing enough people talking about how the signal was lost for 7 months, and Regnad said they would meet their client in-person after 7 months

I know this is pretty old now, but this is one of the scariest videos to me because of this implication: The Iris may be far away, but it isn’t keeping any secrets. It not only allows the Crusader to photograph its insides, but sends it back to earth so humans know exactly what’s coming for them. It knows full well that humans are far too inferior to it to stop it on their own, and how futile any attempts they would make are.

It's likely not the Iris itself considering its size. But it's almost certainly something it sent to Earth that's housing the Crusader. Terrifying implications.
A lot of people mentioned the Chiron fact, but the fact the satellite only took images of Callisto, Europa, and Io is pretty interesting. Ganymede is the largest Jovian moon, with a magnetosphere and missing from the images. The Iris had a snack before Earth maybe?

A great piece of foreshadowing is the images of Saturn itself. The rings are much thinner than they are normally depicted in photos, suggesting that the Iris has been pulling the asteroids away from the 'gateway'.

As a huge space nerd, this is even more horrifying to me. The moons of iris being impossible because of gravity making planets into spheres, the speed of iris getting from the edges of the solar system to the earth in 7 months could be possible if the iris is a rouge planet, but it’s implied it stops near the earth in lethal omen. You can’t lose hundreds of km of speed for an object presumably over trillions of tons. Christ man, the fucking “breathing” as well. The crusader 5 was moving probably around 5km per second, perpendicular near the iris as well, probably being many times as fast. Dispite the low mass of the object, you don’t just stop and object like that and pull it downwards. This is shows how fucking mind bending the iris is, breaking the laws of physics. Neptune is also taken over by the iris, Neptune is the 3rd most massive planet, getting rid of that is fucking insane. A planet sized organism like that is insane. This is a horror masterclass. Even the small details like just the sound the camera shutter does upon each image becoming more distorted in the worst possible way.
Never mind the fact that we don't "need" the sound, as such was never actually taken and transmitted back to Earth. I think that little detail adds a bit very subliminal and subconscious horror "why the shutter sound in the first place?"
So, if I had to guess...
The iris used neptune's eye to "scout" out the earth. It tried with jupiter but it didn't work, hence the wound. It then used saturn's rings as a gateway. It either exchanged positions with neptune or "infested" it, creating this bio planet.
It sent down "the lights" to make contact, seeing as they can survive in extreme conditions, like space, underground and even extreme depth pressure. These things set up nests as bases or homes.
It then used it's woodcrawlers to harvest humans for food. Eventually it managed to learn that mimicing humans was much more effective. It probably created the Gemini Home Entertainment company to spread misinformation and to teach it's mimics, like the home invasion video.
It's probably working on consuming Earth to sustain it's massive biomass, then onto another planet. Either that or it essentially makes us all livestock.

1:32 saturns rings are way thinner than normal. at first i thought this was an error, but seeing as this seems to be an actual image, im guessing the gravitational pull of the Iris has begun pulling material away from the rings, which is shown by how some of Saturn's moons are now in orbit of the Iris

This is a masterpiece. The storytelling, attention to detail, and visuals are off the charts. The shutter speed even slowed down when it went inside the [REDACTED] and couldn't get as much light. This is the best analog horror channel right now, maybe even better than Local58.

@@pixelsarea well we know it 'mutated' and if you pay attention in the solar system video, you can see a blue out of focus planet phase in creeping up on both saturn (the gateway) and Mars at one point (go back and pay attention to the upper right side for saturns screen and the lower left for mars) so most likely,,,,neptune is moving (that and the funky looking moon slides on this one only started when we got to saturn so,,,and then basing off the 'monthly report' where the iris says 'mary sees the gateway die' and saturn got called 'the gateway' and how jupiter has an open wound (which I wonder what caused that)...well things are getting ominous)

Also, in the glitching slides right after 6:28, you can see the slide with the three planets Crusader photographed and Neptune just isn't on it anymore.
It's also noteworthy to point out that in the first time we see that same slide, Neptune has a black background to it, while the other two are transparent, which would imply that the slide originally didn't have a picture of Neptune on it and Gyneva had to put one in manually. That's also supported by the fact that the image appears to be the one taken by Voyager 2 in 1989, two years before Crusader would have reached it, had it still been there.

Something striking I noticed when re-watching this video and "MONTHLY PROGRESS REPORTS". At the 6:00 mark, we hear a siren accompanied by what appears to be a watchtower or tower of some kind. What's important to note is that the siren being played is the same siren as heard when the "Activating speaker" prompt was shown in MPR. I think it's safe to assume that the tower shown here is the tower they use to communicate with the Iris, or some feature that goes along to the labyrinth of Regnads systems. Just a wild thought.

the thing is, hestia is a main belt asteroid and kadlu doesnt even exist

I would like to address the fact that one of the previous tapes was made in 1985, this tape specifies the probe was launched 12 years prior, meaning it left Earth in 1973. You know what real world probe was launched in 1973? Pioneer 11, which did a flyby of Saturn. Just thought that was interesting.

i noticed something, if you look closely to the neptune's photo (0:35) you will see that is a cutted image , it was not taken by the crusader 5 unlike Jupiter and Saturn (Reasons that we now what happened with neptune)

You can say that these were brought through the crusader but the woodcrawlers struck a deal with the camp in the 30s so I have no clue😂

But why would the Iris send the probe back? Probes generally aren't designed to return to Earth, they just transmit data until they're either too far away or run out of power.
Maybe thats what the Iris wants

@@ThornWolf1 Someone else in the comment section said that, the dates of some of the pictures coincide with the dream visualizer video's dates.
And that maybe, the 7 month timeline that the probe was away might be the same 7 months mentioned in the Monthly Progress report. There's a similar radio tower and sound that plays, after all.
The Crusader 5 probe also captured it's last photograph in October. The same month that Regnad made "a lot of progress" during, in the monthly progress report.

Well I was going along the lines of Crusader being a sort of warhead probe considering both the name and nature of the mission, but seeing as either that failed entirely or wasn't the intention, *Iris is pissed.*
I love how little sense the anatomy makes to me- it underlines just how inhuman all of this is and gives me more of a feeling of "we shouldn't be seeing this"
