Nice interview, it's nice to hear from your bro's experience and it's so sweet how close you are to each other! Gotta admit I was not planning to learn Catalan but I fell in love with it. It's so close to my native lang (Portuguese) and it feels like Catalan speakers are our brothers and sisters of sorts. In my personal view point Catalan seems like a perfect bridge between all the Latin Languages (except for French who's the eccentric member) and that it could be used as a common compreension language between all of us Latins. One can dream. Greetings from Brazil! I'm sure you would pick up Portuguese in no time.
Obrigada, I am so glad you liked it! I want to learn Portuguese one day, I already understand it quite well when spoken slowly and it sounds so beautiful :) It would be nice to have Catalan as the bridge of Romance languages, definetly hehe
Thanks for this wonderful video lovely Laura! Great interview with your cool and humorous brother 😎👌🤠😂😆. It's nice to see how close and supportive you are to each other 👍.
Interesting conversation. But I must admit getting distracted with the thought "Gee, they have same eyes and smile, if Laura had a beard and a tan like her brother... would she be the spitting image of him?" :)
You and your Brother speak very good English. I understand your brother when he says that he has friends that don't speak English very good. In some schools they seem to concentrate more on grammar, it's important but without speaking and listening too then there will be difficulty understanding and speaking later. In learning a language one needs to have plenty of input before they can give output. Something I learned on the road to learning Spanish.
Oh!! Finally the collab with your bro 💙
Thanks, hope you liked it! :)
@@CouchPolyglot I know how hard it would be to speak to my brother in English, so I have all kinds of new respect for you now 😎

And/or if her bro had better lighting? 😜
I think they are different 🤔

I have had the exact same experience!
K dramas and BTS definitely got me interested in learning Korean-- but I have too many other languages to learn first!
I feel you!! Sometimes I will be like "oh, I will learn this and that language", but I need to control myself so that it doesn't get too stressful :D
i believe for most people learning a foreign language is a means to an end 🤷♂️
sure, but that is not something wrong I think, not everyone can have the same passion :D
👍true
Seems to me that the bilingual Spaniards are the ones that are able to achieve a better accent when speaking foreign languages.
I never thought about it, but I guess it might help :)
When you are bilingual you have more sounds coming from the different languages, so you are more flexible.
You're married? Do you have kids? You seem like you would be a fun mom
I am married, no kids :D
