      I am totally with y’all on this! We hardly eat out, but we also have a strict budget. So this would be hard for us, too! Katie won, but Ryan was sooooo close! Loved watching this! 💕

    Literally you should have just ordered 2 round eggs at McDonald’s, much cheaper than ordering the mc muffins and then throwing it all away!

      That’s where I stopped watching. First no creativity with the coffee then wasting a whole sandwich. More research should have been done to challenge themselves on what to order. Rather than buying two sandwiches and looking as if it was wasted. Sorry girl this vid is terrible.

      Wish we could know what they did with the rest of the food? If they didn't waste it, and they are showing people how to make healthy choices at fast food restaurants, then why not show what you did with the waste.

    Cheesecake factory isn't really fast food :( Next time, could you do Chick-Fil-A and Subway?? Those are some of my go-to places

      I recently learned that a complete salad at cheesecake factory can have enough calories for a day! Other options have almost 3,000 calories! 😱

      Chick-fil-A salads are bomb af. I work there and I eat a salad every day. their market salad is my favorite, but the others are delicious

      Chick fil a get a side salad, and the 8 count grilled nuggets. Choose dressing based off your macros whether you're carb conscience or calorie conscience and you'll be good to go!

    I admit I don’t really see the point of this challenge; it seems like it just annoyed a lot of people working minimum wage jobs and wasted some food. Generally really enjoy the content on this channel, but this one was a miss for me.

      Then you didn’t watch the video I guess. This challenge has nothing to do with money. You can make your own food that is healthier for cheaper. The point was, which was said over and over. To find the healthiest options at places that don’t have many of them. And don’t make assumptions about food waste...we didn’t.

      @@ashleynicole9844 Thanks for the feedback. Not sure how my last reply was snotty? Just stating facts and you can't hear tone in a text post :). If I came off as not liking foods that are bad for your body, then honestly I'm OK with that. It's not about money or anything like that, it's simply about treating your body well and fast food doesn't accomplish that very often (if ever). I feel like often times people use money as the reason why they eat fast food, but the truth is, you can eat healthy on a budget. It may not be as convenient for many, which is why we made the video to find the absolutely best/healthiest options at places that might be limited on those.

Since the healthy options can be limited, I wanted to find the best ones possible to help out anyone who is trying to make healthy choices for their body and still eating at fast food. Not sure why you take that as such a negative, but that's up to your perception. It was a pretty light hearted video...sorry it offended you so much.

      @@xlisette44 ask for tortillas on the side or tacos on the side when you order a bowl. Always order a bowl because you can put more things in the bowl than you can actually a burrito. Get the meat in the bowl instead of on the side because on the side it's 3 oz, and the bowl is 4 Oz. A good customer service is one of our top priorities, so if you're not happy with something, just let us know and we make it right. We have standardized questions and never ask if you want the corn even though it's laid out in front of you., so if you want it, tell us you want corn. I hope some of these help!     I used to work at mcdonalds. For future reference, you can buy anything a la care. You can just order "round eggs." Which are real eggs. Idk why but certain sandwiches are made with "folded eggs" rather than the round egg. The folded eggs are like eggs in a carton. Idk if its real or not i never looked at the ingredients. I imagine they are made from real eggs but probably have other fillers.

      The meat on the Egg McMuffin is Canadian bacon. I'd go for it. My personal fave is the Egg White Delight!

    I’m health conscious anyway so don’t eat much at fast food, but what’s great about this video is that it’s just fun to watch you guys go through the process and it just adds to the holistic approach of always bringing awareness to your food choices and overall health.     You can also get oatmeal’s from both McDonald’s and Starbucks with stuff on the sides!! Those are my road trip go-to’s!

    To me McDonalds and Taco Bell are two of the worst fast food places to go if you're trying to eat healthy. There are many other options such as Panera Bread, Chipotle, Waba Grill, subway and Chick fil a. Those places have way better healthier options so it's not as difficult to choose a good meal for yourself. Thank you for this video Katie! Also I'd love to know what was in your Juice It Up smoothies. I also never go there for a smoothie because they're just loaded with sugars. They do offer fresh juices so that's a good healthy alternative. Thanks again ❤️

    taco bell online lets you customize it to get all of the nutrition info and its the ONLY fast food with a vegetarian menu. You can replace any "meat" with beans and make it fresco to make dairy free adding pico for the healthier options when in a pinch

    CorreCt me if I'm wrong but I think the cold brews at Starbucks are considered healthier because they tend to have less addetives and the brewing process makes it less acidic, so it's better for people w8th aanxiety issues.

    I'm pretty sure you can just order a plain egg vs ordering a sandwich at McDonalds. I personally love the power bowl at Taco Bell when I'm on the run! Fresco style is also another go to as well! Jamba Juice uses mostly juices so that's why the sugar content is so high for their smoothies. :/

    It is SO rare for my husband & I to get fast food. It's a move of desperation so, if we must, we just eat the combo we want. However, we quickly realize/remember why it might just be better to be hungry because it makes our stomachs hurt too. I hate thinking about all the mystery ingredients! Fun video of you two as always!

    Ok here's a Starbuck drink we can all love, I get a mocha too & here's how I do it. 1 pump of chocolate (not 3), with coconut milk (it's about 1/2 cup) & no whip the entire thing is 12g SUGAR, totally do-able. Great video, keep up the good work!

    You mentioned most almond milks contain lots of fillers. Which brand do you recommend? P.s. I couldn't help but giggle that your were wearing a stocking cap and everything outside is nice and green, because where I live today there is snow and the temp is 7 degrees. 🥶

    That was awesome! But my stomach was hurting too. I don’t eat fast food anymore. It is so unhealthy and my stomach can’t take it. I am so glad you did this, I watch my sodium level and cholesterol a lot, and I learned a lot about the sugar intake when you explained it. thanks for sharing your wisdom and tips with us.     I would love to see you two find the best food choices at a truck stop or large gas station that has food. Being on the road a lot those become the snack (and sometimes meal) stops. Not the best choices, but I would love to see how you manage them. =)

    Obviously eating this kind of food all the time isn’t good and making homemade nutritious food is what is best to eat on a regular basis but if it makes you anxious to have one day of not being restrictive with what you eat that’s disordered eating. Just have to be careful with associating shame with eating.

      This has absolutely nothing to do with “being restrictive”...not eating fast food isn’t restrictive, it’s healthy and good for your body. There is nothing positive about feeding your body overly processed foods which ultimately hurt it. Do not confuse removing unhealthy foods from fast food chains from your diet as an “eating disorder”, that is beyond ridiculous and offensive for anyone who struggles with real eating disorders.

    This was sooooo much fun to watch! You two are soooo stinkin’ cute together! 🥰 My hubs and I also have to watch what we eat. Not sure if I have thyroid issues. I could...but eating fast food of any kind upsets our stomachs! So totally felt your pain on the next day! 🤕 And thanks to your motivation....I’ve lost 15 of the 25 pounds I’m trying to drop!!!! In one month!!!! Yay!!! I’ve just been cutting back carbs, calories, and sugar. I looove Starbucks, but yes, so much sugar! Thanks for doing this! Totally fun to watch! Love you guys! God bless❣️🤗👍💕

    I tend to do the Grande Latte with no sugar and nonfat milk or a cappucino. There fairly decent, but I use it as a treat!

    Next time at McDonald's you can just order the egg rounds or eggs scrambled and you would've saved yourself money. I often order eggs and a meat for breakfast in a pinch and its super cheap. They'll put it on a plate too!

    For McDonalds, you can order just the egg rounds on their own so you don't have to take everything apart:)

      Regular mayo I do avoid yes. I make my own non mayo mayo at home. It’s really good. It’s in my recipe book 😘
