UPDATE: Starting January 1st, the delinquent girls loiter outside of the home ec room during lunch of week four, so it's now harder to lure out the three students closest to the doors using giggles. You could simply send a stink bomb to that room to get everyone out, or go to the side of the wall in the courtyard near the delinquent girls, giggle five times to draw them out there, then giggle to lure the last three students out.
That also works. It is a simpler method actually lol. Just make sure you are fast enough about it such that her suitor or the student council member doesn’t find her body, and you’ll be good to go.

So true dude 💀 But I feel like there is an explanation why(I'm not a 100% sure if this is the reason but I just thought of it) you see, remember in one or many videos dev said that he wants to give yandere simulator in Ayano's timeline to have all the best features as possible? And 1980's mode is just like a copy paste of the old yandere simulator before this one. So that could be the reason why he took so long to complete yan-chan's timeline, but then again. You are right when you said It only took him exactly one day to finish 1980's mode, it's absolutely impossible to imagine a whole new game in just one day, while the main game we have all been waiting to be finish. She eats in the student council room, so prep everything in the closest bathroom in the morning. Week 6/Ai: I haven't done this one in awhile, but the easiest option in my opinion is to set up a water puddle in somewhere like the announcement room, secluded. Grab the car battery and put it nearby. Also prep the saw if need be, don't want student council to find her. Get her to follow you, put scissors in the puddle, ehen she bends down to pick them up, throw the battery. Week 7/Teiko: Frame for stealing is way easier. Just stink bomb the faculty room and steal rhe keycard. Its pretty much the same from here, i believe in you. Hope this helps!
One tip is that talking to students about disliking violence is the greatest way to build reputation, since only 3 students in the entirety of 1980s mode like it (13 if you count delinquents but you cant build reputation with them anyways so)
if anyones wondering the only ppl who like violence are: Yui Rio, Haruto Yuto (red rainbow kids) Umanosuke Yoshinari and Moeko Rakuyona (assuming your going for s+ here, moeko should be dead long before komako's week so she doesnt matter here)
You make this game look so fun! To be fair, 1980s mode is THE reason to play this game. And now since the game has likely been cancelled due to recent controversy this mode is also the only reason I'll come back to this game. Well that, and the wonderful lo-fi inspired soundtrack. I love how the music changes depending on the atmosphere and your sanity. I'm a sucker for dynamic soundtracks! Hopefully some day, someone will make a yandere simulation inspired game that doesn't end with them being exposed for legal shadiness.
It’s weird that I found this game via KubzScouts when it was in its very early days, and now I’m about the same age Ayano would be in the game. Kinda weird to think about.
it's also weird to think about the fact im around ayano's age too lol since canonically she's supposed? to be 18 or 19, since she's at least 18 but not 20 yet because yandev wants to sexualize his characters 🙄
Sameee, Found cube scouts when he was playing flash games like the herpes and love letter game back before corona wasn't a virus but a type of beverage instead! Currently about to be legal in a few months and graduating high school after one more year... Time flies holy 😳 Anyone else feel old jesus
Thank you lol, but the video's only an hour because I cut and sped up the footage a lot. The raw footage of me playing was definitely over two hours, likely around three as well.
Other things that could help: For week 5, you can also drown the rival in the fountain by writing her a note to meet you there, but this method is somewhat more risky because of potential witnesses. For week 6, you can also put rat poison in her food and set up an electric trap in the bathroom. For week 7, do NOT frame the rival for narcotics, that results in her getting expelled, not arrested, and you will not get the S+ ending For week 8, do NOT lower the rivals reputation past -150, this will cause the rival to k!ll herself, not giving you the S+ ending (most people know the last two bits, but just in case) You can also buy the cigarettes and alcohol at the store, but will need a fake ID, which you can get from the yakuza or from the faculty room. Just a couple bonus tips, thought it’d might help :) Also, quick question: why did you use the recycling bin to hide the manhole tool and circular saw instead of the giant backpack next to Ryoba’s school bag and locker?
@@Air_Conditioner_ since the meme outrage! When everybody was focusing on humiliating YandereDev! That last time the state of the game was just "beta" having this empty "open world" and having so few rivals. I think this was a really big time ago.
@@shadnatic I believe after Osana's release, focus shifted to adding 1980's mode and quality of life improvements/polish. After 1980's mode, focus remained on the latter, and also on prepping for crowdfunding. That would probably explain the difference in polish you're seeing.
One of the easy ways to eliminate 3rd rival: 1. Befriend rainbow girls before the 3rd week 2. Tell them to leave 3. Close doors so anyone else won't see it 4. Crash the rival with bookshelf and clean all the evidence
Idk but it’s very hilarious to me that some of them you didn’t kill them in the canon way but somehow did? (Being crushed with dumbbells but not the library shelf, etc) I don’t comment in videos, but you made me, really loved the video! ❤️
I can’t wait to do Chigusa because when she confesses her feelings, it’s funny to see the other boys (senpai too) that…are just sad because she is in a relationship 😂😂😂
Honestly, I use to ALWAYS go to the book afterschool for study points, I find it very underrated that no one goes for it and just leaves the school like it doesn't exist.
With getting rid of the second rivals corpse; could you hide trash bags in the over the should bag and the conceal the body? Or would that cause suspicion? 12:56 ! Great run through I struggled a lot with 1980s mode! :D
Yes you can use the trash cans to transport dismembered body parts, but it's slower than using a tarp bag to wrap them up, and results in blood being spilled from dismemberment. But it is an option. And thanks! Hope my video helped you with some aspect of 1980's mode.
I just had an idea for a really hard challenge. Since you already made videos about only eliminating all your rivals with the same method, I suggest you try to eliminate each rival with multiple methods at the same time. I suggest the overkill challenge. You sabotage your each rivals interactions with de Pau to the point where they would normally get rejected but then you also have to frame them for breaking the school rules to get them expelled but you don’t tell the counselor about the fifth forbidden item you put in her bag so she doesn’t go away yet. You also have to get her reputation low enough to get her to leave the school from harassment on Friday but before all of that can kick in, you kill her with any method you want but you have to get rid of the corpse without alerting the cops. Because then you have to tell the counselor about the forbidden and get them expelled once they are dead. This allows you to eliminate each rival four times in one week. I am not sure if it will be possible since this might glitch the game in some way but if you can pull it off, it would be awesome.
That’s wild haha. Definitely an interesting idea, though I worry it would be incredibly tedious and possibly too boring to watch (esp if it’s the same methods every week). I’m not sure if I’ll do this idea, but I’ll put it on the list of future potential ideas. Thanks for the suggestion!
@@Air_Conditioner_ I was joking around that its cool how the quality of your game is so high because yonder simulator usually runs rather bad due to it's bad code
I tried to do something like this but I used the Rival Specific version of eliminating them. Meaning the police came and found Ritsukos dead body. And I accidentally alerted one of the teachers when I was carrying a stink bomb during Teikos week. I completely forgot that I could use the S+ methods with your using the rival specific versions. Welp, too late now. Good job at doing it without police, alerts, corpse discovery, and the other things.
1:03:38 If ryoba has a sister? Then what if.. she's in the city somewhere.. perhaps idk but I had a memory if you go to town, hair salon, (don't skip the cutscene) in yandare simulator (2000s) but when you visit the store this lady says: *"I'm just like you"* It could be Ryoba sister however the timelines says that her sister moved to somewhere perhaps her sister wanted to visit her niece?
@@Air_Conditioner_ perhaps she disguised herself.. or maybe you could be right? Who knows ayano maybe VIST her? Idk.. hm.. Could be info chan (wait this only exist in the 1980s right?...)
@@boxy_tocs2035 If Ryoba's sister was the hairdresser, she would immediately recognize Ryoba presumably. I believe it's confirmed that she's just another non-Aishi serial killer. It's definitely not info-chan, as info-chan was born decades later
omg I remember that when I played it the ai elimination wouldn’t work so I just killed her with a bat, no wonder I didn’t get s+… Edit: I also didn’t do the fire girl elimination properly because the week before I had kidnapped one of the gardening club members for money and the club closed so I didn’t have access to the gasoline
Week 4's routine is now different and harder to do without being noticed since sumiko now eats outside the home ec room instead of outside near the gym
Here are some of my theories in the timelines ending. First theory: Info chan is the investigative journalists daughter now this might not be related but it made me think. In the first build of the game there is a starting cutscene and Info chan and Ayano speak together in person and info chan said that she wanted to be a journalist also Info chan goes to Akademi and maybe Info chan tells Ayano to do all of the murdering so she can get revenge on what happend to her dad. . Second theory: Saisho Saikou is Ryobas Grandmothers senpai. So when you look at the timelines it said that Ryoba's Grandmother found her senpai but it never said she got married to him so maybe Saisho and Ryobas grandmother had Ryobas mom but Ryobas mom kept the aishi name so her father could be kept secret. . Third theory: In the timeline 1989 when it said that Ryoba's senpai was abducted by saikou corp maybe this was to get ryoba to come to Saisho to tell her that he is her grandfather so thats why he kidnapped him because Saisho secretly knew that Ryoba was a murderer and maybe tells her to enroll her future daughter into Akademi or they made a deal.

One tip is that talking to students about disliking violence is the greatest way to build reputation, since only 3 students in the entirety of 1980s mode like it (13 if you count delinquents but you cant build reputation with them anyways so)
Yep that is a way to easily do it. I usually just go with their respective clubs personally
if anyones wondering the only ppl who like violence are: Yui Rio, Haruto Yuto (red rainbow kids) Umanosuke Yoshinari and Moeko Rakuyona (assuming your going for s+ here, moeko should be dead long before komako's week so she doesnt matter here)
You make this game look so fun!
I personally have a lot of fun with this mode as well
Cancelled you say? When was the edit made??
It’s weird that I found this game via KubzScouts when it was in its very early days, and now I’m about the same age Ayano would be in the game. Kinda weird to think about.
That’s wild haha
it's also weird to think about the fact im around ayano's age too lol since canonically she's supposed? to be 18 or 19, since she's at least 18 but not 20 yet because yandev wants to sexualize his characters 🙄

Other things that could help:
For week 5, you can also drown the rival in the fountain by writing her a note to meet you there, but this method is somewhat more risky because of potential witnesses.
For week 6, you can also put rat poison in her food and set up an electric trap in the bathroom.
For week 7, do NOT frame the rival for narcotics, that results in her getting expelled, not arrested, and you will not get the S+ ending
For week 8, do NOT lower the rivals reputation past -150, this will cause the rival to k!ll herself, not giving you the S+ ending (most people know the last two bits, but just in case)
You can also buy the cigarettes and alcohol at the store, but will need a fake ID, which you can get from the yakuza or from the faculty room.
Just a couple bonus tips, thought it’d might help :)
Also, quick question: why did you use the recycling bin to hide the manhole tool and circular saw instead of the giant backpack next to Ryoba’s school bag and locker?

I haven't heard of Yandere Sim since a long time ago, it looks really complete and optimized, did YandereDev finally came to his senses?
When was the last time you heard of the game? I believe it's a lot more optimized now that the focus is on polish and not adding core gameplay

I've just realised when you're playing 1980's mode it looks like you're looking at an old tv, and I've played for a whole year
Yeah it’s a cool effect
One of the easy ways to eliminate 3rd rival:
1. Befriend rainbow girls before the 3rd week
2. Tell them to leave
3. Close doors so anyone else won't see it
4. Crash the rival with bookshelf and clean all the evidence

Depends on your situation 👍

Using garbage bags is op. No one notices a thing.
I agree.
Those are cool theories!
