Hi Denise! i'm from Manila. Thank you so much for your videos. They're all a big help to me as a Lector. But in this video, you did not demonstrate how to proclaim slower than normal. See i have a problem. Our church is big so the words sometimes sounded garbled especially at the back. So no matter how clear i speak the words, im afraid they don't make sense altogether at the back of the church. So i try to speak slow. But then some people say im going too slow or there's a lot of pauses. See i tend to pause in between one or two words. Like " Thus / says / the Lord.", thinking if i do it that way, it will allow each word to fall into place and not mix with the others, because of the echo produced by the mic. Am i doing it wrong? Should i simply speak in a conversational rate like "Thus says the Lord.." without pauses? That's why i was hoping to hear a demonstration. Could you upload another video showing it? :D
I hope im not asking too much :D Thank you in advance and God bless you and your family!

This was five years ago, though.
      How's it been ever since?
