If you are wanting to bowl competitively this ball is only good for spares. It is really great at that! You can use it for strikes on really dry lanes but that is very situational. It is a fun ball to use though so the fun factor is very high.
I have a high rev full roller delivery (one-handed) but slow ball speed (just under 13 mph) due to age and injuries. I bought this as a dry lane ball, but for me it has a hard snap in the back-end and drives the pocket like a resin ball. It has taken over as my new #1 (replacing my Pathogen Blue Dot). I have even used it effectively on a long/heavy oil sport shot (shooting a 575 with game 1 spent trying to get loose and fishing for a shot). The ball does quickly get a visible track burnt onto the surface which after about a dozen games effects the performance, however a 2 minute buff in the ball machine has it looking and working like new again. I really love this ball. It was an unexpected surprise.
It was a great ball... the machines at my alley absolutely wrecked it after only six months of me owning it. RIP I may post a video about it because the way it broke made a phallic shape haha

How does this ball look after use?
The Redemption Solid can get pretty dirty after a few games. I use the product lane ghost on amazon it does the job.
Was there some hook potential with this ball?
Hardly any, but I have a really high rev rate and when you put on the dry boards right away it will get to the pocket.
