Thanks for this. I don't know why you're publishing with small publishing houses that don't even promote your work or put an ebook version on Amazon. You better off self-publishing.
ebooks of most of my books are available on Amazon. i think the only one still awaiting that treatment is The Magician. as for the reality of publishing: average new author of a major press sells 250 copies their first year. it's not much better up there unless you also promote yourself. as for self-publishing, i'm not interested. there are tangible benefits with being a part of a small press that cares about design, editing, community, etc...
